Wade Robson Accuses Michael Jackson Of Molesting Him

Long time choreographer Wade Robson has always said that Michael Jackson never molested him. He has testified under oath that Michael Jackson has never molested him. Even when a maid says she saw Michael Jackson and Wade Robson in a shower together when Robson was 8 or 9 years old, Wade Robson has always denied he had been molested. Now he has filed a claim against the estate of Michael Jackson because he wants to be paid because he is claiming he was molested and the memories were repressed until recently. Do I believe he was molested? Absolutely. That being said, I think he knew he had been molested all of those times he denied under oath that he had not been molested and that is going to hurt his case a lot. I am also wondering if he was paid to keep silent previously or to testify that he had not been molested.

  1. It is so disturbing that this went on for so long and ALL of these adults allowed it to happen. I'm not referring to possible molestations (which I believe happened) but the fact that no one stopped the constant 'sleepovers'. He may be gone, but the parents aren't and they need to hop on the wheel of vilification too.

  2. Nope. Not touching this one.

    1. Why not? Michael Jackson had no problem touching it.

  3. Why do you 'absolutely' believe he was molested? That's a real stretch to assume under the circumstances. The Wade Robson Project money had to run out some time so he's after a chunk of the money Michael's estate is going after is more likely the case.

  4. I'm all for molestation victims getting justice, but there's something that just doesn't sit right with me when someone waits until the person they're accusing is dead to make their claims. Also, if he was lying about it earlier, shouldn't he be held responsible in some way for other kids that were molested after him (which could have been prevented if he were honest)? It's such a difficult topic, because there's his own privacy on the one hand, but I don't think that makes it okay to lie under oath (especially if money is involved).

    1. I wouldnt question or doubt any victim of sexual abuse. And the younger they are molested, the more confused they are about whats right or wrong.

    2. I was molested as a kid, and it's easy for me to imagine that it would be difficult for him to face his abuser with the truth. I can't imagine looking across a courtroom with my abuser there.
Wade had a relationship with Michael for years, don't think that there aren't mixed feelings there even with the abuse.
It's not so cut and dry as just hating someone.

    3. I was molested as a young child by my paternal grandfather. In my teens, I began to speak out about it. NO ONE ever believed me. I was told to keep quiet & stop being such a dirty girl. He finally passed late 2012. I am now 29. After his funeral, people began to talk. Of course, he was a life-long pedophile, & there are many victims spanning decades.
Now, people believe me.... & want to know why I never "made" them believe me.

    4. PM- I feel for you, there's an added layer of discomfort when it's a family member. My abuser was my uncle.
My family knew about it but refused to prosecute him. I was forced to hug and kiss him at reunions, and once to sit on his lap.
When my sister and I protested or tried to rebel we were treated as the source of discomfort.
It's an uncomfortable topic and people would prefer to pretend it never happened.

  5. This makes me so sad. I loved Michael Jackson's music and grew up along with him, being the same age. I hate to think these allegations were true but there seems to be so much smoke all these years, there had to have been some fire.

  7. "Repressed" memories aside for the moment, does a NDA (non disclosure agreement) expire when the person it protects dies?
And so, if his original testimony was that the abuse never occurred, however now with the magick of therapy (and a dead defendant) "memory" of the molestation resurfaces, is that perjury?

    1. @Merlin. Non-disclosure agreements are null in a court of law. It doesn't matter what the terms say, if you are testifying under oath you cannot be "charged" with violating the agreement. (This comes up a lot on the Scientology threads.)

  9. Hmmm...I wonder if this opens him (Robson) up to defamation lawsuits from the men who's trials he testified FOR MJ, since he's now basically saying he lied in those trials.

I don't believe him. Either he was lying then or he is lying now. Either way he is a documented liar.

    1. There are so many reasons why a person would lie about not being molested when they had been. Are you kidding me? There is so much shame attached to that. And while I don't know of Wade's spending habits, I do know he raked in serious cash for putting together all those Nsync, Britney and Usher shows.

  10. Not necessarily lying. AFAIK, he was forced to testify in the first trial - it is possible he simply wasn't able to confront the abuse at that time/age. Or perhaps he was easily manipulated into denying it.
I am NOT suggesting MJ is guilty here - we simply don't know - just that confronting sexual abuse isn't always easy and straightforward for the victim.

  13. My observation is that it is rarely advantageous to make public a false claim of molestation or rape against a high-profile person. First, there's the burden of proof, the assumption that it's a money grab and the related character assassination -- you're a liar, you're a whore, you're a fraud, YOU'RE the predator.

Remember when the first Sandusky victim spoke up? How many accusers did it take before public opinion went from skepticism to, "this guy is a monster"? Three? Five? All eight? Sandusky was portrayed as a benevolent father-figure taken advantage of by money-hungry losers who couldn't even begin to process a normal relationship with a mentor b/c they grew up without fathers. Remember when part of the defense was that these kids were so poor and uneducated that they didn't even know how to shower correctly? That Sandusky, what a nice guy to show them how.

Was Wade molested? I don't know for sure, but I would err on the side of "Yes" b/c Jackson did NOT have appropriate relationships with kids, especially young boys, except for his own (again, see Sandusky, who apparently never touched any of his own kids). Was Wade paid/bribed to keep quiet and then lie? Maybe? The grooming process can create complicity, even if it's conflicted. How much does Wade owe his career to MJ? Does he need the money? Why now? These are all relevant questions, but they don't change the fact of whether or not he was actually abused. Maybe he is lying. Maybe. Or maybe the truth caught up with him after years of telling himself it wasn't abuse.

    The developments should be interesting.

  16. Wade makes lots of money doing what he does now? Maybe he's tired. With MJ money he could retire! Yes I think he was molested but this is totally $$$ motivated.

  17. I have no idea what to believe about MJ molesting children. I do know he participated in some very inappropriate behavior, like showering with children though.

  18. Wasn't this the guy believed to be who Britney cheated on JT with? It has no bearing on the story, really, just trying to figure out if I'm mixing up my choreographers.

  19. I applaud any person that finally comes forward to admit they were molested. I think its sad that money might be involved and also that he waited until the scumbag was dead... but I think it's great when a person tells their story and is able to come to grips with what happened to them.

  20. NDAs are not "null." You cannot be criminally liable for violating a NDA, but you certainly can be civilly liable. And to answer the original NDA question, it depends - sometimes they survive to successors, heirs, etc, sometimes they do not. It depends on the language of whatever agreement they executed.

As for the abuse - I believe it. I was an abused child and denied it for years and years because I was embarrassed. I only realized that it wasn't my fault when I was an adult, and I still have trouble discussing it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I don't know what to think. Perhaps if he's telling the truth this time, more victims will start coming forward. Either way, it is very odd for a grown man to shower alone with a child he is in no way related to. I can't imagine any parent being okay with this.

This is a very delicate subject because many victims of childhood sexual abuse do indeed repress memories. If the abuser is a world famous cultural icon, I can't imagine how difficult it would be for the victim to come forward.

  22. Wade's family profited immensely from pimping their son out, same as the families of most of MJ's other victims. In the Robson family case, some of the benefits lavished upon them to turn a blind eye included MJ paying to move Wade, his mom, and his sister to the US and helping them get residency status here, buying them a car, putting his mom on his payroll for three years, putting Wade in several of his videos and at least one Pepsi commercial, signing him to a record contract as part of a kid rap duo, and giving him tons of gifts, including lots of musical and recording gear.

While Wade spent night after night after night in Michael's bed with Michael, Wade's mom and his sister were banished to a guest house on the estate.

Other families received million-dollar payoffs and new cars every year for several years.

When it was time to testify in court, the Jackson money machine made sure these people remembered who buttered their bread, and they all obediently climbed on the stand and perjured themselves for money. No big deal. They let a pedophile molest their kids for money. Not as if lying under oath about it would be worse.

    ReplyDelete
  23. And since you guys are going to want to know how I know, I made MJ a hobby of mine for several years. If you have the resources (nothing nefarious, just access to newspaper and legal databases and people in the industry) you too can amass a shockingly obvious pile of evidence that the guy was a pedo and everyone knew it. But he was a money machine, so it benefited everyone to deny it.

Most people don't know that during a lawsuit years ago filed by former Neverland employees against MJ, MJ took the Fifth every time he was asked about his relationships with all these boys. Most people don't know about the million dollar payoffs, even though journalist Maureen Orth documented them and the Jackson family publicly acknowledged them. Most people don't know that when Neverland was searched, the wine cellar was found stocked with porn, and that testimony from MJ's boy buddies acknowledged that MJ shared porn and booze with them. MJ had a phone sex relationship with a young British boy until the boy outgrew MJ's preferred age group.

I could go on and on and on. Once you read all this (including MJ's signed legal admission for his huge settlement with the Chandler boy) you KNOW he was a pedophile. And it wasn't one bit amusing to see everyone prefer to deny what was right before their eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think it's interesting how many people still don't want to believe Michael molested these boys, perhaps because they enjoy his music.
I don't believe every claim thrown out against people, but the evidence overwhelmingly supports the idea that this happened, and many, many times.

  25. Squeezebox: Thank you. It's amazing how much of the truth has been obscured by the "Peter Pan" illusion that Michael was just a grown man trying to recapture his youth.

I cannot fathom a parent being so blind that they accept their child sleeping in a grown man's bed. Disgusting what they turned a blind eye to.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @ Sarah, I'm not sure if that is the reason. At least for me I just don't know what the actual evidence was and what the media was reporting as I was in my teens and didn't really pay attention when this first started garnering attention.

  29. I don't know about this dude, but I do know someone who was one of MJ's frequent overnight guests at Neverland when he was a child, and he emphatically and repeatedly denied that there was EVER any inappropriate behavior going on. He considered MJ as one of his kindest and best life-long friends. Therefore, having heard adamant first-hand testimony, I am 100% convinced that MJ was NOT a pedophile. I think he was emotionally stunted and got along better with kids, and believed himself to be their real-life Peter Pan. It was obvious to me that he brought my friend a lot of joy, so these sorts of posthumous rumors really upset me. Let's not forget that MJ was never found guilty of any crimes, so to label him a pedophile now that he is four-years deceased is really unspeakably appalling. Let the man rest in peace, already.

  31. Squeezebox, beautifully written.
I believe Wade was molested along with many others. It can take a lifetime of processing before coming to terms with the abuse. From what I have seen the worst part of childhood abuse is tha many children are treated well by these abusers to gain their trust, so there is a real conflict of emotions about the disgusting behaviour perpetrated on them. Look at how long it took for Mackenzie Phillips to discuss her father's abuse. People doubted her until others came forward & she was an adult when it all came out, imagine the pressure on a child to not talk when by doing so you come under intense media scrutiny. Hope he & other victims can one heal.

  32. How is he going to prove his case, one way or the other? Just curious.

If he truly was molested, I feel sorry for him. But his timing on this is quite suspect.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I definitely have my own history of abuse, but I don't think everyone accused is automatically guilty.
I do think Michael Jackson is, however, and I can sympathize with someone who is pressured by their family or abuser to keep quiet.
Wade's family had reason$ to persuade him to keep the truth hidden, and it's likely that he had conflicted feelings about getting Michael sent to prison.
Being abused, especially as a kid, really messes up your head. I'm willing to bet that Wade still had conflicting feelings of loyalty toward Michael for whatever he perceived had been done for his family.

  34. Molesters don't necessarily molest every child they come into contact with.As icky as it is to say it,they can have a 'type' and many are very well disciplined when it comes to controlling their urges.

Saying that he's not a molester simply because he didnt molest someone you knew,is just like telling a child their uncle couldn't have possibly have raped them because 'he's so nice and he has never raped anyone else that you know of'

Its a hard thing to get ones head around given that MJ and his music are so well known and many don't want their childhood memories tarnished.

But that is just as bad as telling a kid to keep their mouth shit because you don't want to hear one of your relatives is a predator for the same reasons in my opinion.

    Scares me a little.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I truly believe that the only person abused here was MJ himself, by his father, when Michael was just a little boy and later in life he was simply framed by those who handled his career decisions.

    1. So people in charge of his career thought it was a good move to implicate him for the worst sort of crime? They thought that tens of millions in payoffs were a good career move? Okay

  36. Here's what we know for sure. A maid saw them in the shower. We know for sure that Michael Jackson slept in bed with young boys, because HE ADMITTED IT. So from the behaviors we already know about, those behaviors are inappropriate. If you think Michael Jackson is so innocent, would you let your kids sleep over his house, knowing what you know now? This victim will need money to get therapy, and instead of calling him a liar, society should be rallying around him to give him support. And the same people that kept hiding a known molester in plain sight should be the first ones to cough up the money.

Anyway people Internet is a wonderful thing google for yourselves!!!!!

  42. Sarah, it doesn't work that easy... it's too much to explain, but long story short - if u're trying to break free from ppl handling your career and presenting their agenda - well, there r consequences.

Those accusations didn't destroy his career, did they? Framing him was just supposed to punish him for trying to be too independent and to show him how powerless he actually is... and it did its job very well - MJ was soon back on track.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Here is the real deal. Robson was told he would be paid a very large sum of money. When Michael died, that large sum disappeared. So Wade has decided to sue for it but can't sue for not being paid to lie under oath. So they dream up this repressed memory. Thing is Michael's people cannot prove he was paid to lie, that would be admission of guilt, but neither can Wade come out and say "I lied under oath" because he would be guilty of obstruction, lying under oath etc...so he is playing a very dangerous game. He either need money really bad or it was a very large sum of money promised.

  44. It is so complicated to be in that situation. However, as much a molestation has affected you. Not all molestations are violent sometimes you get groomed, and feelings get confused. Because that person was kind to you and generous. I can imagine in his case MJ was a beloved superstar. I believe him you say that they are repressed but they are not. It is just a way to explain why coming forward now .
