Today's Blind Items - He's Got A Temper
This actor was A list. He is still close. if he got another great role, it would shoot him back to A list. Made his fame on television. Great role. Great show. Now, he is mostly movies. I think it would be unexpected to see him on television. Married. Been married before that too. Been with many women who are very brave. Our actor has a temper. Has a temper with everyone. Even if you are paying him he has a temper. He is always living on the edge. He is always one second from blowing up on you. He tends to find his wives by having affairs with the women he is considering. With the women he is having an affair with, he is kind and generous. Always lots of gifts. Cheap gifts though. For a multi-millionaire he spends very little on romantic gestures. He will buy you dinner and get you some grocery store flowers, and will do it everyday, but you are not getting more than that. He hits, but not in a bruising kind of way. He prefers slapping your face. He is a terrorizer rather than a beater. You would think he would have trouble keeping women, but he has to fight them off. They all want to be with him and they want him to be mean. They want him to be rough. It is the strangest thing. One of his friends told me that women expect him to be violent with them and would be disappointed if he was a sweet guy. Lucky for them he is violent.
Pacino....de Niro
ReplyDeleteBruce Willis?
ReplyDeleteJames gandolfini?
ReplyDeletedid mel gibson work on tv?
ReplyDeleteJerry Seinfeld.
ReplyDeleteI read this as Gandolfini all the way through.
ReplyDeleteThe only one I can think of is Johnny Depp, but his A-listdom is kind of frozen in ice, no? Though in my book then yeah he's not really A-list anymore so for me this is a perfect fit, but don't know if anybody agrees!
ReplyDeletebut not that Johnny Depp is NOT A-list either, you know? Haha!
ReplyDeleteI like Bruce Willis for this one.
ReplyDeleteJim Carrey
ReplyDeletebradley cooper?
ReplyDeleteBruce Willis FTW.
ReplyDeleteBruce Willis, Bradley Cooper, Jim Carey, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro are all A list. They can still headline their own movies.
ReplyDeleteSomething tells me Gandolfini doesn't have to fight off the chicks.
I got bored & stopped reading 1/3 through it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Gandolfni. He does in fact have a wicked temper. Was videoed going after a fan in an airport and also yanked on his wife's arm at an award's show because she had stopped to talk to an interviewer.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Mel Gibson.
ReplyDeleteI like Bruce Willis, but I'm pretty sure he's been A list for many, many years.
ReplyDeletewhy would it be unexpected to see gandolfini on TV? that wouldn't surprise me at all.
ReplyDelete@nancer maybe it would be surprising he went BACK to tv?
DeleteIt has to be someone married.
ReplyDeleteThis dude sucks
ReplyDeleteI say that bc myth first thought was Jordan Catalano but he has never been married. Temper, would never do tv, attractive but not marrie.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about any of the guesses so far (and no I don't have a better one,) but this sounds like the guy has been married SEVERAL times.
ReplyDeleteBruce has only been married twice. De Niro two marriages. Pachino and Depp never married. Cooper one marriage. Tony Soprano, two marriages...
I totally read this as Willis with Moonlighting being the show. I don't think Gandolfini is A list, is he?
ReplyDeleteDon Johnson
ReplyDeleteThey're disappointed if he isn't violent? lol That sounds pretty ludicrous.. Maybe in the bed but don't think anyone walks around thinking gosh I wish my bf would slap me already.
ReplyDeleteI don't think DeNiro and Gibson ever did TV. But if they did they definetley didn't make their fame on TV as the blind implies.
ReplyDeleteI like the Gandolfini guess; he went off on a TMZ cameraman I think. He was also busted by them coming out of that place in LA where you can get legal pot if you have a script. He was in a good mood that day. You don't catch too many people being mean after they just finished puffing.
Gandolfini, he'd be the most expected to be violent.
ReplyDeleteOut, out the foul beast!
ReplyDeleteRobin Williams? Mork and Mindy was a classic show but it would be a shock to see him do another show. He also married his nanny.
ReplyDeleterobin williams is a good guess, but wouldnt he be described, in part, as a comedian?
ReplyDeleteSorry for the OT:
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let everyone know that Matt is being charged with First Degree Murder now that Ben's autopsy came back. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and love. It has meant the world.
<3
@Robot. Don't you dare apologize. Thanks for the update and hug your sister, a lot, for us.
DeleteI'll be in the backyard digging a nice deep hole if anyone needs me.
Prayers and good thoughts for your sister.
Delete@robot, I'm glad, hope justice is served, keep us updated
DeleteThat's good news after bad. Wish u all the best...
DeleteRobin Williams has a new show coming out in the fall. Sarah Michelle Geller is also in it. However, I was surprised that he is going back to tv.
ReplyDeleteRobot--Warmest thoughts your way. Stay strong through this. We love you, doll. Tell your sister how many strangers here are praying for her!
ReplyDeleteRobot, I'm glad that he will hopefully get the punishment he deserves.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt Gandolfini has a temper but this one isn't him. He IS going to be back on tv - he has a show in the HBO pipeline called 'Criminal Justice'. And like someone said, Gandolfini fighting women off? Really?!
ReplyDeleteKelsey Grammer? Cheers and Frasier shows. All his wives were his mistresses first. But what movies has he done recently?
ReplyDelete@Marlo. Ooh, I like this one. I think it's the best to date and really works with that mistress-to-wives clue.
DeleteEver see that clip of him falling off the stage? It's one a could watch over and over again. Loathe him...
DeleteI was thinking Bruce Willis but your guess fits even better, becsue of how Grammers career has fallen off--was A list then fell off but one good role would put him back up, plus of course his great TV role.
DeleteAlso the unexpected to see him do tv again fits him perfectly--his new tv show Boss was critically acclaimed but no one watched it and it was cancelled after i think two seasons about a year or so ago.
DeleteGandolfini is disqualified due to "It would be unexpected to see him on television."
ReplyDeleteGandolfini was in a mini-series for HBO, "Cinéma Vérité" after The Sopranos.
He was even in negotiations for another show, but they weren't that interested by several seasons. The project, "Criminal Justice" was retooled and was announced as a mini-series a few days ago. So, it's more than expected to see him on television. It's actually a sure thing.
Ohhhh...I love the Kelsey Grammer guess.
ReplyDeleteRobot, thanks for the update. So sorry this ever had to happen, but glad he is getting his due (and hopefully some jail justice).
ReplyDeleteI thinly its Bruce Willis because he is an a-hole all the way.
ReplyDeleteBaldwin.
ReplyDeleteMichael Madsen? Did a fair bit of TV in the 80s.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was Eddie Murphy but I think he was only married once
ReplyDeleteSound like robin Williams. Idk I read this as de Niro but he a living legend
ReplyDeleteGandolfini - I'd be surprised to see him on a weekly network show, although HBO TV/Miniseries not so much.
ReplyDeleteAnother possibility - Nick Nolte, with Rich Man/Poor Man his famous TV role. I know he was recently in "Luck", but I was surprised to see him in that.
Thanks for the update, Robot. Prayers continuing for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteexcept for the television reference, I would have totally thought Sean Penn.
ReplyDeleteI really like this guess. I checked IMDB, he did a tiny bit of TV early on.
DeleteBruce Willis is permanently A list. I do like the Nick Nolte guess. Rich Man, Poor Man catapulted him to stardom but he's been all movies ever since.
ReplyDeleteI read this as tony soprano alllll the way
ReplyDelete@T. E. Cuz You're right. Robin Williams is one of the greatest comedians of the past 50 years--A++ in that category. Acting is his secondary talent.
ReplyDeleteGandolfini is joining the Sopranos crew in of all things a new Nickelodeon TV movie, so it's not him.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing wrong with dinner and grocery store flowers. And if these women know what their getting into, I don't see a problem.
ReplyDeleteIf this is Gandolfini, I understand it. Some women love Teddy Bears, and he's adorable, with a bit of danger just under the surface. Women love that.
"they're" - before the grammar police lose their shit. Thankfully, this place has few to none of those.
ReplyDeleteLove and light for you all, Robot
