Today's Blind Items - Afraid To Come Out

It must be hard when you are surrounded by lots and lots of star wattage in your life. When you are more famous for being offspring rather than for anything you do on your own. When the father figures in your life continually abandon you or are never there for you. When your real father repeatedly talks about what he thinks is acceptable behavior and a homosexual relationship is never acceptable in his mind. Sure, if a couple of women want to have sex in front of him, that is ok and he has made that perfectly clear, but there will be no same sex relationships. How then to express what you are thinking or feeling? No other parent to talk to, because she won't remember. Your siblings will listen, but they have their own lives and they don't understand. It's hard to be a celebrity when all you have done is be born. You have not asked or sought for or tried to be a celebrity, but there they are with cameras. Always. Never alone. Never can be who you are because it would disappoint dad. That crush you have had for the past two years. So close to telling her how you really feel. You should tell her and not just tell the few people closest in your life because, they obviously told me. Soon, they will tell others and you won't be able to control your story, it will be played out for you. I think you will be surprised at how much everyone will support you, including your family.

  3. You're probably right, Montana. Whichever one chose to go to college rather than the celebrity route.

  5. Yes, the Willis girls fit what with the father and father figure thing. :(

yep one of the Willis girls, not Rumer though, hasn't Scout been having a tough time with a drinking problem the past couple of years?

  7. Which is sadder due to the fact that Demi muff dives with the best of them but her substance abuse issues leaves alot to be desired in the parenting department

  8. Sounds like a Willis girl, but I hadn't realized Bruce was so homophobic.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I read this as a Willis girl too.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Agree with all the above. One of the Willis girls.

  11. Tallulah is in the Daily Mail today, on the beach with a female friend.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Is Willis a homophobe?,

He defiantly always pinged my gaydar, especially after seeing him in friends and some newer stuff

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yes, i will be surprised if this is bruce. Guess he sucessful but not very bright. Whoever this girl is, please realize neither of your parents have been there for you, and have made their own lives. So you go right ahead and fashion your life to make yourself happy. And good luck!

  14. Tallulah I think. I can't keep them apart, name wise. The one without the unfortunate chin.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Bruce never struck me as homophobic, but who knows what he says behind closed doors.

  16. "I am NOT saying that ALL Republicans are homophobes" disclaimer here, BUT:

Isn't Bruce Willis known for having a pretty hard-line Republican philosophy? I can't see how this is anyone but a Willis girl.

    1. Not only tacky, but ill-informed. My family is in its 7th decade of national level politics. Homophobia, or rather what's here, a N.I.M.F. we call it-not in my family, includes, drugs, cheating, stealing, drinking, and good old whoring. It falls pretty well equally, on party lines. Other than the furtherest left, the new progressives, most people dont like a harder, more difficult lifestyle, especially if it is unfamiliar or uncomfortable to them. This is not the true definition of homophobia, BTW.

  17. Ooh, I had to google those girls again to remember what Tallullah looks like. She is definitely the most attractive of the bunch.

  18. I co-sign with the Willis girl guesses, but I wonder if it's more a matter of "not my kid" with Bruce than straight out homophobia. Kids misunderstand what their parents say or take it wrong all the time.

Plus, even though we live in a more "enlightened" age when it comes to sexuality, homosexuals still have a harder time, face more prejudice, than a heterosexual. As a parent, I'd support my child's choice, but that doesn't mean I don't hope that they have the easier path in life.

Look at what Magic Johnson's son is going through.

  19. I read this as a Willis girl as well, but I didn't know Bruce was such a homophobe. Not cool.

I hope whoever this is gets mad support from her friends.

  22. Gayeld, it's not a choice, it's simply who you are. Unless you meant coming out is a choice. I just wish sexual orientation stopped mattering and people didn't have to be afraid of coming out.

    ReplyDelete

    1. I know it's not a "choice", I didn't say I hope they don't choose to be gay, just that I hope they have a life that is easier than it is for most homosexuals. Like it or not, in any socio-economic bracket life is easier on heterosexuals. Not fair, but true.

      Delete
  23. Gayeld, just curious but exactly what choice of your childs would you be supporting?

    1. @Bubbles. These days, whether or not to wear clothes outside, in the future? Frankly, I have both my future son-in-law (Rowan) or daughter-in-law (Kiera) picked out. Although, my girl has a mind of her own, so it will probably be some offspring of Miley Cyrus and Wilmer Valdawhatitis.

  24. The Mom Won't Remember has got to be a tell for one of the Willis girls. What other H'wood mom is an absolute mess?

  26. I think (and correct me if I am wrong) that Gayeld's point was she wouldn't want her child to have to travel such a hard road. It's a damn shame, but it's the truth. Homosexuals are still seen as fags and not people. I have a choice to be a crusader for a cause and can take the heat. My child doesn't chose to be a crusader and shouldn't have to take the heat from jerks.

    1. @Boxes. Thanks. I almost didn't say anything to begin with because no matter how careful you are with your words, there's always someone who's looking for some deeper homophobic meaning in every statement.

Which, actually, goes back to my original statement about Bruce.

  27. I understand exactly what Gayeld said. I live in Oklahoma, where tolerance for gays seems very, very, low. I would always support and love my kiddos no matter what their sexual orientation, but yeah, they would be safer being heterosexual, around here, anyway.
For the blind, what about Clint Eastwood for the dad?

    ReplyDelete
  28. True Gayeld. My dad was a 'not my kid' kind of racist. Like he would never be against interracial dating, but NOT HIS DAUGHTERS.

I'm in the Midwest. Not socially liberal here.Plus, he's old.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @libby. Sounds like my bio-dad. He's plenty liberal when it comes to his drugs or girlfriends, but one of his daughters dated a black kid for a while and kept it secret the whole time. You can move the jerk to CA, but you can't remove the back water OK from him. (Not that CA doesn't have it's own share. I'm still in disbelief that Prop 8 passed.)

  29. Willis girls are a great guess. I can't think of another mother who would be suspect in all this. Drugged out or alzheimers (sp?) maybe? Other than Demi, can't think of one....

    ReplyDelete
  30. Totally Tallulah -- clues fit perfectly and since she's in the DM

    ReplyDelete
  31. To.be different Alec, hes a micromanager I would guess and kim b seems zonked with "stage fright and depression"....plus even tho might come off as liberal, he has "not my daugher" impression. He called her a pig...not very socially liberal...

    ReplyDelete
  32. What about Melanie Griffiths daughter with Antonio Banderas as the dad. Or Don Johnson.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think its thecWillis girl with the big chin. Rumer?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Or Ireland Baldwin

    ReplyDelete
  35. I read this more as an absentee mother--like Nicole Kidman. The sibling(s) line threw that one out, though.

I do not see Bruce as a homophobe at all. He's always been rather progressive in regards to social mores.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @Topper. Nicole has four kids, so I'm not sure how the sibling line threw her out.

  36. So conservative Bruce would have the same reaction to having a gay daughter as liberal Cher did?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Bruce W. is a Republican and he probably wouldn't like it, but he would support her as if she wanted a tattoo or something that he didn't like but wasn't a crime. I like him (in a very straight way), and also for this BI.

Banderas can't be this. He is a socialist, a great guy but socialist, and not the Barack Hussein way but the Spanish way where some USA democrats (Hillary...) would be called "far right" on the spot.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Don't worry, Gayeld, I didn't read your post as anything homophobic. I understand your point as well, it's a hard road.

    ReplyDelete
  39. @YoMismo-RememberKermitGosnell,

Aren't you the same person who said gay athletes should come out so we know who's having "sex dreams" about other athletes in the showers?

Yet you like Bruce Willis "in a very straight way."

    ReplyDelete
  40. Definitely a Willis. Poor girls :( They can come live with me, as I have three younger sisters and they all turned out happy (and yeah, one of em is gay!)

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think Nicole was ruled out as the mom because while she has four kids, only Connor is of the age to "have his own life". The Urban girls are both under...6, so I doubt Isabella would go to them about her sexuality. Same with Suri. She's also dated/lived with a boy, while Tallulah hasn't dated anyone I know of publicly.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Sounds like a Wilkins sister. Scout is a singer, so by elimination I guess this is supposed to be Tallulah.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @megan00m: That's not a liberal or conservative thing--that's just being a jackass, and it crosses all party lines.

    @YoMismo: *sigh* *shakes head*

Hopefully whoever this poor kid is will get some support from someone, and with any luck her family will treat her much better than she worries they might, even her dad. Plenty of people bitch & moan about other people doing/being such-and-such, but when their own kid turns out to be that way, it pulls them up short and makes them realize that it can happen to anyone, and (if they have any kind of perspective and compassion) that everyone is someone's kid...

  44. It's Tallulah Willis. She was all over Coachella with her g/f.

    ReplyDelete
  45. SWell bruce is a hypocrite, with all the shit that went down between him and Aaron carter, you would think he would be more understanding

    ReplyDelete
  46. This girl seems to have a biological father and a stepfather. Is Ashton a "father figure"? I doubt it.

It´s more like a Liv Tyler situation. Not her, but like her, with more than one man to call daddy.

  47. I hope whoever it is can find happiness and live a life that resonates for them, without fear.

  48. My first thought was one of the Willis kids. It fits. I think it is Rumor.

  49. What happened with Aaron Carter?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oops, I meant Scout.

  51. Tellula is not in show business and I don't think she has any public projects going on at the moment. But there the photogs were stalking her at the beach while she was with her lady friend.

Has Bruce Willis ever in all of his career been photographed with anyone who is out and proud? Nope. Not even out A listers.

    ReplyDelete
  52. How about Patrick / Maria / Arnold

    ReplyDelete
  53. @betty long ago the A list gossip guys claimed that Bruce is so deep in the closet he is seeing narnia and that he prefers his boys young. Few years back due to a court matter Aaron was FORCED to declare certain things for the court, it came out that Bruce spent over 1million in gifts on Aaron for what no one is sure, since he didn't answer any questions bout it, incidentally Michael J also gave lavish gifts to Aaron according to court documents

    ReplyDelete
  54. @it took forever Thanks, I had no idea about any of that. I hope nothing bad happened to Aaron, I used to love him when I was a kid.

    ReplyDelete
  55. It really isn't a conservative or liberal thing - it's a parent thing. For the most part, if you love your child more than you love yourself like most normal parents, you just want them to be happy and true to themselves. But Hollywood is a messed-up bizarro world full of narcissists who have babies for various self-serving purposes or adopt black babies because it's the latest thing to do.

The blind sounds like a Willis kid, but more importantly - wouldn't it suck to be the daughter of Demi Moore & Bruce Willis and end up looking like their uber-masculine, square-jawed, butch father? Their mom is still rockin' a bikini at 40 and banging 25-yr-olds and you're being asked which hockey team you like this year.

    ReplyDelete
  56. And @Count, did you really ask what other H'wood mom is an absolute mess? Really?

    Really?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Anonymous8:40 PM

Omg....just come out already. A child is here to live their own life NOT the parents life. The more gays that come out the more "normal" it will be.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Very sad blind, if true. It makes me think of the asshole father on Dead Poets Society who forces his son to go to medical school.
