Kardashians Lose Big In Court
Showing you that the Kardashians think they can do whatever they want with no consequences, they attempted to hijack the name of a makeup line already in existence. Back in 2004, a line of makeup called Kroma was created. Over the past decade it has grown into a very successful makeup line, mainly through the efforts of the line's owner. Last year, the Kardashians announced their makeup line which they called Khroma. Yeah, you can see where this is going. A cease and desist letter was sent to the company responsible for the Kardashian's makeup line and they were sued for $10M. A federal judge sided with the original Kroma and an appeals court agreed. Now, it will cost millions to change the packaging and branding and marketing. I don't feel sorry for them at all. Kim is the one who came up with the name after she had seen the Kroma products and thought Khroma would be great. Yeah, because it would be taking after a great company and not creating, what will probably end up in dollar stores around the country.
A KARDASHIAN POST!!! Hallelujah, praise Jesus, there is a God. And thy name is Enty. Lawyers are super smart. They're only interested in intellectual, smart shit like the Kardashians.
ReplyDeleteThese self-entitled cows sicken me.
ReplyDelete*kows
Delete@Sarah, I just woke the baby choking with laughter
Delete@Christopher - that kind of misogyny is what is ruining this blog.
DeleteI suddenly feel the need to buy some Kroma eyeshadow! Good for the court.
ReplyDeleteThey should have called their line Kimmode'.
ReplyDeleteLmaoooo. They can also name it KAKA!
DeleteThe cheap, easy, lazy way to make money is a Kardashian trait.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness they're seeing some real world consequences for this. I feel bad for the real Kroma people, now they have all this krap associated with their brand.
ReplyDeleteha! kimmode....nice
ReplyDeleteNo, no Anna. It's Kimmode'. You know, so it has klass!
DeleteHey, nothing wrong with dollar store makeup!
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, good for the original company. They couldn't come up with another name?
Hurryhurryhurryhurry MOAR COMMENTS! If we don't comment, we won't get anymore Kardishtowelin'! Don't let it slip away! Tell Enty how you really feel!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHA! When will they go away??!!! I only read their stories here and at dlisted but I don't even click on their stories on yahoo, dailymail, radar or celebitchy. I'd like to think I'm helping everyone from the fewer clicks
ReplyDeleteKeep on keepin' on commenters!
ReplyDeleteMore is better than less because if there's more less stuff, then you might want to have some more. However, your parents won't let you because there's only a little. If you really like something, you'll want more of it.
Hey at least Kim has moved on from making money by laying on her back. Baby steps people.
ReplyDeleteRotfl!!!!!
DeleteThat's fantastic! I remember reading about this when the suit was filed, but never heard any more about it. It seems like the old article said the two names were spelled the same, that it wasn't Kroma and Khroma. Either way, I'm so glad the KKlan lost!
ReplyDeleteKRAP works too.
ReplyDeleteK-Pee could be the aftershave version.
ReplyDeleteThey're already selling it in CVS here! Turned me into a Walgreens girl.
ReplyDelete__-__=__: That was beautiful.*claps*
ReplyDeleteNow back to my hearty laughter over how a)stupid and uncreative Kim is and b) them losing part of their undeserved fortune.
As we all know, a bag full of rocks for brains...GO TO SCHOOL A$$wipes!
ReplyDeleteyeah!!!
ReplyDeletego court! go court!
do you think the craptrashian's ever wear the crap they sell at sears? huh? or do you really think they wore this Krapa makeup?
course not...
They should have called their line Kimmode'.
ReplyDeleteBwah! Love it.
The Kardashian nail polish (by Nicole?) is all on clearance at the local CVS.
hahaha- GOOD.
ReplyDeleteThey should call their product line SKANK - As is "You can't spell Kardashian without SKANK".
ReplyDeleteGotta add my love to the Kimmode' line!
ReplyDeleteYa Kimmode is bloody brilliant. Glad these tricks are slowly on the demise. But does anyone else think kimber-wee-on-me is wearing these disastrous clothes on purpose? And why haven't the media called her on it?
ReplyDeletethis is whole things was probably a good thing for KROMA getting their name out there...
ReplyDeleteYeah and I'm delighted a talented hard working woman gets the reap some benefit from these girls notoriety.
DeleteI think they did it because JLo & Coty did it and were successful. I imagine that lots of companies do this. They don't bother careful investigation. In JLo's case it was a cosmetics company that was already using the name Glow. They weren't all that successful anyway, unlike Kroma. So winning was easy.
ReplyDeleteOh they madden me
ReplyDeleteof course it would have been perfect someone else did all the hard work, the ho's come in for the payday...these who-ha's make me sick.
ReplyDeleteIf you go back a while, Enty would have Katrashian free weeks or months.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm sure he would violate his own rule to publish such joyful & well deserved news about these famewhores & self-entitled creeps!
I HATE the KUNTtrashians! Every thing bad that happens to them, they deserve.
ReplyDeleteThis hoe is all the rage over at DM. Almost all of their articles are about her. I have to come here to clean myself up from just looking at her picture.
ReplyDeleteP.S.
The rest of the family can kick rocks to.
