Jose Canseco Intimidates Rape Accuser

Jose Canseco is being investigated for sexual assault. The accuser says she was drugged and raped by the former MLB star. Las Vegas police admit they are investigating, but no one has been charged. Showing what an a-hole he is, Jose tweeted the name and place of business of his accuser. So, now her name and work place are known to millions and all because she accused him of a crime he may have committed. If he is found innocent or the charges prove to be bogus, he can do what he wants, but all he is doing now is trying to get the woman to shut up and to embarrass her so she won't press charges or will drop the charges.

  1. OMG....Some psycho fan of his is going to hurt that woman. What an asshole, even if the charges are false. There must be a law against this?

    1. There's no law , it's freedom of speech. A lot of media outlets have a "morality" law where they won't print the accuser's name but they will print the suspect which us bullshit.
For all we know. He needs to get this out in the public, some psycho man hating dyke bitch might hurt Jose just because she needs to stand up for the " victims."

    3. I'm referring to stereotypes. To assume Canseco has fans that will cut for the cause is just a preposterous as victim rights advocates hate anything with a penis.

  9. Isn't there a law about intimidating a witness? Or is that after charges? What about plain harassment? I'm curious for me too on the harassment thing. When does harassment warrant an order of protection? This girl could get one couldn't she?

    1. There was a story about a girl who accuse a guy if rape. Either he got off or there wasn't enough evidence.
Anyway the chick went on twitter or something , telling the guy's name and shit.

      This is no different .

  10. Is it too much to ask that both sides get to remain anonymous until a trial establishes guilt or innocence?

    1. They should but some bullshit media "morality" law usually omits it.

The problem I have is when the cops conclude that no rape was committed, the accuser takes the suspect to Civil court to get money. The media won't print the accuser's name but will print the suspect 's.

  16. I'm glad he's doing it if he's innocent. Why should have his name dragged through the mud.

He HASN'T been charged , the cops are investigating so Mr. 40/40 can exercise his freedom of speech and tell his story.

He offered to take a polygraph and challenged the accuser to take one as well.

  17. Just when you think you can't hate a douchebag anymore than you do. They go do something like that. Which speaks volumes to me guilt wise.

  18. Austin Scott, ex- player at Penn State was accused of date rape a couple of years ago. He took his story to the local media before the judge had the chance to issue a gag order. It help his case because the charges were dropped and also exposed a lotta corruption within the police investigation.

  23. You do wonder if ethically speaking that the names of people just under investigation and not charged should be published at all or even people charged but not convicted.

I noticed that our newspaper will not publish the names of people arrested anymore, we used to always check who was charged with DUI on Monday morning, though we noticed certain more prominent members of the community esp those that paid for a lot of advertising in said newspaper were arrested, but it was never reported at the time the policy was to report it. But now except in very exceptional cases they will not.

But then would that extend to trial coverage as well? But then what would have Dr. Drew done without reporting on Jody Arias every bloody day for months.

The small time baseball team in my hometown brought him in to play a few years ago. He liked to frequent the local sports bar and harass the underage servers at the restaurant, on their Facebook, via text, etc. many if them had to have parents, siblings, etc confront him. He's a sleezebag

  27. Never knew who he was until I saw him on Celebrity Apprentice. (Don't judge me too harshly.) He was one of the most egotistical, lazy men I've ever seen. And that's saying something. Quit the show for some lame reason when it came time to raise money. Clearly worthless now.

The A's had a squad back in the day.

Wonder if Canseco has HOF numbers ????

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Tina Mallete: I agree. You can be arrested for anything, and the report will stay on the net forever in press releases and what not. What they should do is have someone in court reporting on convictions, pleas and dropped charges.

I have even been to some courts where the prosecutor is in an office, meeting with attorneys and accused while the judge is doling out justice. I believe this is done so everyone doesn't hear the about the deals cut and the preferential treatment. One judge wouldn't even read my charges by name when they were being dropped. He just rattled off statute #s so the riff raff didn't know what was going on.

My nephew plays baseball and was at a batting facility recently where Canseco unexpectedly showed up...wearing a silly "club" type outfit... faux worn-leather jacket, sparkly studded jeans and black biker hat. Most of the kids were like "nah" about taking pic with him. Didn't Madonna date him back on the 90s?

Isn't it against the law to do this kind of thing? Definitely call Gloria Allred! I can see the press conference now. The accuser's in a nun's habit, dabbing away tears, while Allred pounds her fist on the table saying "have we come this far as a gender to stand for this kind of bullying and cruelty, to a woman who's been through so much?"

  32. @JustCurious: Canseco is short of HOF #'s. Injuries and blackballing kept him from them. Even if he had HOF #'s, they would never put him in after exposing the PED stuff.

He has said in interviews that he knows for a fact that there are people in the Hall who used PEDs. That casts a shadow over Rickey "Mr Contract Year" Henderson, who played until he was almost 50. Makes me sad, cause I loved Rickey.

@Cookies: Yes he dated Madonna. That is probably 1/2 the reason A Roid did.

  33. Canseco married/ divorced a Cuban beauty queen. Afterwards married/ divorce some Hooters model. Hooters was a trip , she said she got her best friend to have a 3some with Jose in order to maintain their relationship.
In the back of my mind, I always thought she was a keeper for doing that.

  34. it's illegal to reveal a rape victim's identity unless she chooses to come forward. it's called rape shield.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Depends on the state laws as well. The "victim" has to prove they're were victimized through the court system. The rape shield had been challenge as being unconstitutional on several occasions.
There women who lied about rape, some have a history of it.

Canseco is doing right by put everything out there before legal matters went further. Some news station already interviewed him about the matter.

  40. That was a dick move, innocent or guilty. 5.9% of rape accusers are lying. So there's a 94.1% chance she is telling the truth. And now she is exposed to this fuckhead's rabid fans. Most rape victims who come forward (95% of 46%) are raped again by the media, the accused, and his friends and family and asshole online armchair speculators who are fucking clueless.

    1. Canseco has always exposed shit. Check out his book, Juiced in which talked about players using steroids by name in baseball so this is really him staying in character. He's crass but hides nothing.

      Hope he's innocent.

The chick is cute. Looks like a fitness model .

  41. The accuser 's name is Susie Bell. She's a fitness instructor for women after childbirth ( good racket). Mother of kids, don't if divorced or still married .

  42. So just curious, your either Ozzie or maybe that ex-gf of Jose that has been making media rounds. I doubt you are Jose because you can spell. Either way, your an a**clown. If he's innocent, he should prove it in court and not on twitter, by intimidation, or gossip boards. His behavior is disgusting, and your highly suspect defense of him and coming to this board and naming the accusing victim disgraceful. And leave her kids out of this. Otherwise, I hope the press has a field day asking Jose's daughter what's it like to have alleged rapist daddy and did he ever take her to a swingers club.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @Just curious, Canseco making public her name, the name of her place of employment and telephone number (which he did) violates her right to privacy and yes, is in all likelihood illegal. If you don't see that, and continue to vociferously DEFEND this action, then you are just as much of an asshole as he is.

She has accused him, and as far as I know he the one talking about it at length in public. Let him have his day in court to defend himself, not try to sic a lynch mob on her. This is blatant intimidation. Frankly, I hope she sues him for it, because event hough his tweets were deleted, people like you keep circulating her name.

And yes, I would feel the same about spreading the same private information about a man who was found legally not guilty of rape.

    ReplyDelete
  44. And he was not 'telling his side of the story'. He was tweeting her information and asking his followers to ask her about what happened. I saw the tweets.

    How is that NOT intimidation?

  46. Anyone who argues that Canseco is NOT a dirtbag has no place in American society. How can anyone be that stupid?

    ReplyDelete
  47. This makes me believe her even more than I already did. Less than .8% of rape charges are unproven. NOT FALSE, unproven. Raping women is one of the easiest things for men to get away with. Because women are not believed when they tell the truth.
