  2. Not surprised at the verdict at all. There was a lot of damning evidence in this particular case, and I imagine the jury saw more than the general public. I don't like to play armchair juror, so that's all I'll say (and it was more than enough).

Sorry, Jodi. It seems you were very, very wrong

  4. I wonder if she'll get the death penalty. If she does, I wanna bake her a cake that says "Mark my words - no jury will convict me."

And yes, totally OT, but I love the Count!! I have learned so much from him in the last few days... If only I could put it to use somehow. ;)

  5. @keeshlo: Thank you sweetie. Your kind words, along with those of so many here, warm my heart and show the broads slurpin H8Rade how much of a minority they truly are. I <3 U 2, luv.

Arias, I think it is cool she's arguing with her attorney about the death penalty. Shows true devotion. After being a member of 17 religions in her short life I'm sure she is deluded enough to think she'll be with her victim forever in heaven, instead of getting keistered by Satan in hell.

Someone should pay off an inmate to leave a belt in her cell and get it over with quickly, w/o the drawn out appeals and what not.

Sad waste of a fine ass.

    1. Do you honestly think a malignant narcissist like her would ever take the easy way out? She'll fight this to her dying breath, proclaiming her innocence. "Poor little victim me!"

The only way that'll happen is if she accidentally kills herself in "cry for attention" attempt that gets out of hand.

    2. Completely OT but your comments on the teen mom sex tape have been fodder for many many dicussions at home and work. You always crack me up, and youre an informed jerk, i can appreciate that :)

  6. @brooke: You single? How close are you to Jersey? If you can't tell, I'm kinda a horny dude, and I'll entertain offers. Some chicks need math tutors, others need tushy tutors.

TushyTutor.com is another viable enterprise I'll have to look into. Like what was that called when Helen Hunt did it? Sex Surrogate?

  10. I'm celebrating tonight. Arias is a psychopath, and I don't want any possibility that she will be back on the streets. Travis Alexander was no saint, but he was an admirable human being with flaws -- the biggest being his attraction to a crazy woman. I truly believe he tried to get out of it, but she was persistent and obsessed, and in the end, that cost him his life.

  11. One less walking nightmare off the streets ..one that likes knives .

  12. It's becoming more and more important for people to recognize people like Jody for what they are and get away from them. Too many people play into these people's pity party and become part of the trail of destruction in their wake. You cannot help people like her. They are broken and cannot be fixed. They will only drag you down with them. Teach the childen!

  13. Too much going on in my own life to care.

  14. @Count - Not single, sorry. It's a shame, too, since I'll be in Jersey 3 weeks from today. But if I'm ever in the market for a sex surrogate, I know who'll get the job done. You definetly sound like you know your way around things. ;)

  15. He was her mark, but he didn't realize she wasn't playing with a full deck.

She was his mark, but she didn't realize he was marking her for conversion and not true love forever.

    PS,

If you don't care, why comment?

    1. Oh Gawd THANK YOU for that. I believe that is the crux of this entire story. Additionally, we women know that when we are young and looking for love we choose stupid people or do stupid things along the way. I think she's a mess. I think he was a douche. I think that that it's incredible that this doesn't happen more often.

  16. Guilty. Sooo guilty.

  17. I've been following this trial and am very relieved she was found guilty. You just never know, look at OJ and Casey Anthony. Those two got off and I couldn't believe it. Arias is a psychopath and probably right now trying to think of yet another reason that "it wasn't her fault."

    ReplyDelete
  18. Count - thanks.

RubyDust - exactly! It's never their fault.

I hope tomorrow we can discuss the 105yo woman advocating bacon! Nite all.

  20. All of you skanks need to back up off the Count! I was the first one giving him love today AND I'm in the Joisey region!

  21. justice for travis!!! so happy when i saw the verdict come in! i think i screamed yes so loud i scared my dog lol.

    ReplyDelete
  22. She was guilty as sin but after the Casey Anthony trial it was hard to call. Good thing her jury was smarter than the ones who were supposed to provide justice for Caylee.

  23. So I Googled this case, since I knew little about it. Be careful folks, there are autopsy photos, and they are nasty.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yikes, Puggle - that is good to know because that is NOT something I want to run into. Too many bad images already in my head and I don't want to add more to the inventory.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The basic consensus is relief. However, I have seen many people saying " Travis wasn't a saint but....". Wtf!! No one deserves to be butchered in their own home. I live 5 miles from where this happened. The attention this case is getting is horrifying. The newspaper ran a story about the new owners of the home Travis was killed in. People constantly showing up to take pictures in front of the house. Sickening.

  26. @PuggleWug: They also put out pix of the axe wound. And the starfish and tits too. They were all on the camera that she thought putting in the washing machine was gonna destroy.

    @Brooke: Dang.

@Pini27: Talk to me, babe. If you are down with burly perverts, I'm all ears.

  27. I am so relieved that justice has been rightly served in this case. I was on pins and needles waiting for the announcement. Tomorrow begins the aggravation phase of the case. I hope she does get the death penalty.

Have you guys seen her interview she gave immediately after the verdict was read? It's sickening how much this chick craves attention:

  28. Thanks for the link Nessa. I agree with her, she should just be put to death.

Her accusations against someone who is dead, excuse me, someone that she killed who isn't there to defend himself should be taken with a massive grain of salt.

Also, they only dated for 4 months. She was so obsessed with him that she converted in that time. I find it almost funny (if it weren't so tragic) that the ME had to release that after determining he had been stabbed up to 29 times, had his throat slit and been shot in the head, it was indeed a homicide.

I agree with the poster above, stay away from the crazies.

Here's a quick wiki for those not familiar with the case

  29. She came across like a smug psychopath, didn't she. Now she's doomed, and her "death is freedom" thing was bizarre. She's a twisted psycho with a taste for blood and arrogant nonsense. What more is there to discuss?

    ReplyDelete
  30. People joke around here a lot, but here's my brief moment of clarity:

I was hoping she would get convicted of first-degree murder, but I really doubted it would happen. First, in most groups of people there is usually at least one who has a fundamental problem with the death penalty & no matter what the juror questionnaire said, I figured at least one juror would not want to hand down a conviction that could carry a possible death sentence. Second, I really thought there would be at least one juror who would fall for her stupid "abuse" excuse. Even if it were true (it wasn't) there is a big difference between "reason" and "excuse" - excuse implies just that - it excuses her actions. That would have done a terrible disservice to women who are legitimately victims of domestic violence.

  31. And Pini... I don't care where you live or how long you've been on the Count, I'm not afraid of you! What do you say we get some baby oil, strip down, and settle this in the ring like the mature adults we are?? Bring it on, b*tch!

  33. I didn't sit in the jury box; I didn't see actual evidence. What was presented in the news media is not evidence, so even if I'd been following the story, I'd have to be a douchebag to spout off any opinions about her innocence or guilt.

I can say that, outside of the Phoenix metro area, this story was not news. It was a strictly local story with legitimate wider interest, and it's a sickening display of the news media's happy dive into the tragedy porn business that anyone outside Arizona has ever heard of it.

    1. The whole trial has been live streamed so anyone could have based their opinions from the evidence that way.

Down to the moment before the verdict was read she looked smug and thought she would get off. A true psychopath who deserves a guilty verdict. Now there are two more phases of trial, aggravation and penalty.

  34. Oh snap, Tyger!! Pini, you're going down, betch! ;) lol

    ReplyDelete
  35. So I didn't follow this case at all.

Is what happened is that she was dating someone, found out he was seeing other women, and then she killed the guy and claimed self defense? Is that about right?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I just saw her on an interview on CNN after the verdict saying she wants to die because death is the ultimate freedom. I'm wondering if she's trying to pull some reverse psychology to make the jurors think "o, she wants death? Let's give her life in prison, then"

  37. I really thought the cable news networks were going to implode from a massive news orgasm yesterday afternoon. Cleveland, Jodi, Benghazi... If only the Kermit Gosnell verdict had come out and they'd have hit for the cycle.

  39. Gt rid of the suicide watch and let her kill herself. I'm over this bitch. I was over this trial two months ago. We know more about that relationship than we do about any that we are actually engaged in. Quit giving her attention before Lindsey gets ideas.

  40. @Tyger Lily & Pini: As much as I love violence, I'd hate to see either of you fine ladies with bruises that I didn't get to put there. Petty and jealous on my part, yes, but we all have our flaws.

You are both in luck, as the Count is a bicycle built for 2. You gals can flip a coin or take turns, just make sure you leave me feeling dirty and used.

If you each insist on individual attention, then tryouts can be arranged. I hope you like role play though. We can do a casting couch scene, where there are 2 actresses up for the role of a life time and whoever gives the better performance during their "audition" gets the role. It could be this upcoming 50 Shades thing or a different role, but I'd prefer something with a costume.

Of course, if you 2 really wanna duke it out, so be it. I would like a Mr Turtle pool filled with chocolate pudding to oil wrestling.

@CocoKitty: Ms. Brooke is spoken for. I may be a creep, but I do have morals.

  41. I can't get over the fact that they exchanged 82,000 messages (according to court records).

  42. I am confused. If Count Jerkula is 'all ears', isn't he missing the required piece of perv anatomy he is offering to Pini 27, Brooke, etc.? My grandma always said 'Little peckers have big ears', so does 'all ears' must mean he doesn't have one?

    "Come gather 'round people

    And admit that the waters
    Around you have grown
    And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone
    If your time to you

For the times they are a-changin'. "
