Why are we assuming that Superman's hair is super-strength? Why wouldn't it shave off just like anybody else's hair?
Awesome! But if he has to grind his beard, is he also grinding the hair on his head? That seems like it would be impossible to shape into a nice style.
Simple and explained in the comics and cartoon series. He uses his heat vision reflected off of a mirror.
