::Steps on soapbox:: Why would you let a 2yr old run the household? Like in episode 1? and the tickling? that's just going to encourage her to get out of bed. ::off soapbox::
As a woman who has spawned and raised an offspring, it "tickles" something inside of me that a man would go through all the trouble to document his toddler's insanity. We women have been subject to this for aeons.
Show me a picture of a man interacting and being attentive towards his kids and I'm gone. (David Beckham, I'm looking at you). This works for men and animals, too.
The first one was not funny for me. This one was awesome. And that's EXCELLENT parenting right there. Diffuse the tension, reestablish authority in a positive way, and get the kid to do what you want without tears. BAM
Meh mine is 2.5 now and he doesn't run the house despite the fact that he says a ton of hilarious crap like this little girl. It's part of being a toddler. They are learning to communicate and use full sentences. My son is always trying to strike deals i.e. "after I take a nap I can have a Popsicle and ice cream and play basketball. Ok? Ok." I laugh and tell him no deal. I'd rather build up positive interactions with him. It makes the times he truly needs discipline much easier to handle.
They've greenlit worse.
ReplyDeleteI thought the first one was much better. Maybe it was the novelty...
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it could get any better than the first one, but this is so much funnier!
ReplyDeleteI don't find this funny at all.

Completely unfunny!
ReplyDeleteI normally wouldn't even bother watching, but I had a feeling. Oh man, I am dying right now!!!!
ReplyDeleteLike Wilfred, but with a kid. And so true
ReplyDeleteShit My Dad Says (the book) was great, the sitcom was god awful.
ReplyDeleteEpisode one was far funnier. But, both are funny.
ReplyDeleteI'm going home to look for the spy cameras.
ReplyDeleteThis is stupid. The first was funny because it was new, now they're trying too hard. Not funny.
ReplyDeleteThey should have conversations with my 5 year old. It could just be a series of questions until the parent/s go slowly insane.
ReplyDeleteWell, if episode 1 was funnier then I certainly won't bother watching this one.
ReplyDeleteThat made me giggle.
ReplyDeleteFirst one was kind of cute, now they just seem fame whorish.
ReplyDeleteThat's a whole lot of credits for less than 2 minutes of 2 people.
