ReplyDeleteIt's already begun. I can definitely see how what he said was tongue in cheek and that's how he is, that he's constantly delivering dirty one liners. I caught a reunion/behind the show once where they were interviewing castmembers and everyone kept saying how concerened they were that he'd say too much one day, or piss someone off, because he was constantly saying very very dirty, inapropriate jokes on set. They just didn't get it, and looking back on it, I like that he said he was trying to send them the message of your kids are living in an adult world now, be aware.

ReplyDeleteBob Saget the comic and Bob Saget Mr. TV Dad are night and day. He is a very, very dirty comic. He said on Howard Stern people would come to his show expecting Full House jokes and they would walk out not knowing what a blue comic he is.

Remember that blind about some show where the three male leads were taking bets about sleeping with the other stars on the show, and everybody thought it was "Full House"? Can someone find that one, please? It was never revealed, was it? I'm remembering it...vaguely today.

ReplyDeleteDirty humor doesn't really bother me, but he's always struck me as creepy. I heard about his dirty humor side after he was on Full House but I shrugged it off. Then I saw him on Entourage and I've been creeped out by him since.

ReplyDeleteI doubt he is hurting for money. He's been in every episode of HIMYM for 7/8 seasons,which both that and Full House are in syndication and sending him checks.
I think it's always been well known he isn't anything like Danny Tanner but I don't think I could actually take more than small doses of his real comedy.
