Corey monteith
ReplyDeleteMatthew Perry??
ReplyDeleteOh, Corey Monteith. :(
ReplyDeleteCorey. Maybe alcohol wasn't his problem so maybe this is no big deal?
ReplyDeletethat's really not how it works.
DeleteAlcohol is a big dealu if you went thru rehab because drinking leads you back to the harder stuff. You are supposed to cut it all out. Corey sounds like a good guess he has reason to be drunk/high.
ReplyDeleteuuh... that's not how it works either. alcohol is a drug. if you're an addict, any drug is gonna be a problem.
DeleteSandy right. Its the high u addicted to, my sober alcoholic friend explained to me, nit the way u get high.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Cory, but it's a good guess. My first thought was that he's all tv not "mostly tv", but there is a very minimal bit of movies in his imdb.
ReplyDeleteJason Segel? He has more movies than Cory.
ReplyDeleteCory has also been in theater in NY. Hope it's not him, damn.
ReplyDeleteJason Segel. They never said Cory's rehab was for alcohol.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we don't know what Cory went to rehab for. He's so darn cute and sweet acting, I hope it's not him.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty confident that it's Cory Monteith as I think there were reports that he celebrated his birthday last weekend at a like a club or bar
ReplyDeleteCory Monteith was my first thought too. ruh oh
ReplyDeleteSegel is higher than C list
ReplyDeletelmao I read this actor was seeing drinking with his friends. I'm like so da fuq. then I notice the rehab part lol
ReplyDeleteAs for the rehab aspect, total abstinence is not a requirement for 'recovery.' An addict can get a cross addiction for a number of things.
ReplyDeleteWho knows? Maybe rehab was much more preventive. Just because they had the warning signs didn't mean they were Bill Wilson rock bottom.
As for the actor, Segel fits a bit, but Montieth however you spell it fits much much better.
You could argue Segel 'starred' in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Plus his triple threat on the Muppets movie plus everything should keep him a solid B+ if anything.
For the glee guy, I mean is he really known for anything other than glee and being lea michele's bf? Canoodling that is reason enough to abuse drugs.
"Total abstinence is not required"". ???????Recovery depends on it
ReplyDeleteCorey was/is a hard drug user, from way back. He can't just pop out of rehab and have a few brews with buds. That's not how it works.
ReplyDeleteSorry Matthew, but abstinence is a requirement.
ReplyDeleteAbstinence from all mind altering substances may be a requirement in rehab but I know addicts that gave up coke/ecstasy/special K etc. but won't give up the booze and fags.
ReplyDeleteSome of them are now total drunks but think it's better than being addicted to drugs and others drink a few after work most week nights and get hammered at the weekend.
They're still doing their livers and lungs no favours but they seem to function fine compared to what they were like and I know a lot of people who live like that no-one bats an eye. Just look at how many empty wine bottles the average suburban, 40 year old couple with grown up kids takes to the recycling each week.
I think it depends on the person, the drug you were addicted to and your lifestyle now. For about 5 years from the ages 18 up I took drugs every weekend and sometimes during the week to dance all night like an idiot at the clubs but one day I just had enough and cut off all ties with that scene and never touched the stuff since. I still drink though... at home watching TV because I'm a sad case and going out is too expensive :)
With Matthew & Mr Jack on this one. Not everyone has the same addiction or path back. Besides, if you go to any AA or CA meeting, there are people smoking like fiends and downing the coffee... As if nicotine & caffeine weren't things people get addicted to!
ReplyDeleteI know more than one ex-addict who was hooked on uppers (speed, coke, amphetamines, meth, etc) who has no problem with alcohol and can have a beer or two itch out adverse affect. Depressants aren't their issue - so when it came to alcohol? Totally fine. But caffeine was different b/c they'd start trying to drink too much coffee or Red Bull to try and simulate the drugs.
