Blind Item #5

This former A list tweener and now a B list celebrity would have never passed a drug test at a recent event which was about substance abuse.

  1. The addiction problem in US is in epidemic proportions. Huge problem which shld be studied as to why brain craves it and how to get clean. Because what we have in place now isnt working. Really, the answer to this blind could be ANY actress, which is sad.

  2. It's about time we start tackling the prescription drug epidemic because it's very quickly becoming our biggest addiction issue in this country.

  3. I agree with aunt liddy. Throw a fkn dart into a crowd in hollywoodland and you'll hit an "actress" with a pill problem, an actor who likes to "party", etc. its just accepted as a part of that world.

  4. I wonder how you know so many details of her life ... Maybe you are joining her to use drugs??
The girl left the Sober Living House for less than two weeks ... But still keep in contact with people who still lives there... This makes no sense...

  5. Demi.

Then again, if I made that awful "Heart Attack" song, I'd want to be oblivious too.

  6. Can you blame people? Modern society sucks, to deal with the raging assholes in the world most people need to be on something. God knows if I had to work and deal with people every day I'd be an addict. Money and fame probably don't make it better, just makes it worse because the entire world is after you. I don't see why they don't just allow everyone to take what they want, it would make it easier to control everyone and that's what they want so why not do a Brave New World and push the Soma?

  8. Drs. prescribe these drugs like they were bottles of water. They need to know what they are prescribing and stop listening to the pharm. Salespeopke who come to the office encouraging them to do so with free gifts and trips and other incentives. Plus these pills are so easy to get off the street people as well.

  11. All this discussion about prescription drugs reminds me of when my father was first admitted to the hospital with terminal cancer.
My 3 sisters and I were in a room with our Mum listening to his doctor explain what was going on when a nurse came in and handed each one of us a prescription for some sort of drug (Atevan maybe) designed to 'help us cope'
My mother went around to each of us, took the prescriptions, tore them up, tossed them in the garbage and then said to the nurse 'We don't need drugs in our family to deal with a crisis.'
    My Mum is awesome.

  12. I'm certain 85% of the people in attendance wouldn't have passed a drug test. They screen for anything and everything.

  13. Prescription drugs aren't the problem. Celebs just won't own up to what they're REALLY using.

the war on drugs is a money laundering scheme, they want you to take drugs, they want you to buy drugs, become a drug addict and not question anything, rehabs cost alot of money, anti addiction drugs cost alot of money, jail costs even more. the powers that be, whoever "they" are have no interest in anyone being clean and level headed.

    1. Yup yup yup. I always wonder what do 'they' need all that monry for? All my research and I am still confused on that point.

  15. Sandybrook, it's not just big pharma pushing the drugs. It's also managed health care. It does not help their profits to have patients who actually need mental health services. Drugs are so much cheaper.

  16. And did you ever listen to or read side effects?? Id rather have original illness! Its true tho, western meds' mindset is what pill can i give him or her? I try not to take anything, and its not because im so hardy or anything-I just dont want to end up like those people on intervention. Masking the pain is not a cure. Sometimes best u can do tho. Myself included.

  17. @auntliddy, thanks. :) My Dad's been gone a long time (20 years), but I still miss him every day.

And yeah, my mother may be 75, but she could still kick someone's ass if she had to.

  18. Contrary to what some of you DEA agents on here think, some people really need prescription pain medication. I have chronic pain and could not have any peace without my medicine. Pain is depressing and can influence all your decisions.

    1. Those who've never dealt with chronic or terminal pain dont understand it because they are coming from the side of addiction, or what they've heard/read. The difficulty chronic sufferers have to deal with due to these crackdowns is cruel & heartbreaking. So sorry you are suffering.

    2. yes indeedy do. Was on pain meds for years. Thinking about going back on. Due to sleep & joint pain issues.

Chronic pain is a serious illness in & of itself.

And the drug policy of tge US & Canada is screwed UP.

  19. I really don't think it's Demi. Call me naive, but she seems sincerely dedicated to her sobriety. I am thinking more along the lines of Selena Gomez. If Bieber is her on-again/off-again choice in a boyfriend, she must not have a problem with drugs.

  20. Demi has been struggling, as of late, note the blonde hair, again. This is Wilmer's influence. Such a sweet & talented girl, hope she hangs tough.
