Blind Item #1 - Easy Easy
This former A list celebrity/singer who probably would have faded away to much less than C list if not for a previous relationship and certain level of craziness has stopped having sex. It has been several months. She quit booze drugs and sex all at the same time. She has slipped once or twice on each, but for the most part has kept to it and as a result she says has gained 40 pounds and is heavier than she has ever been in her life. She looks healthy at last.

DeleteI'm going with Courtney Love, just because she wouldn't still be famous if it weren't for Kurt Cobain. Also, Enty has talked about how she's been sober lately, but hinted at slip-ups at Coachella.

ReplyDeleteI have loved Courtney through it all, even when I believed (damn you Nick Broomfield) that she was a Kurt Killer. She really knows her fashion history and can be quite funny sometimes. As she ages, she is turning into that puppet from Waylon Flowers and Madame, with the bad posture adn the Bea Arthur schtick. I look forward to years of happiness from and for her.

ReplyDelete"Live Through This" is one of the best albums of the 90's, so she hasn't always been a complete waste of space. Who doesn't want to be the girl with the most cake?

ReplyDeleteDefinitely Courtney Love. And while Kurt Cobain is the reason she's still as famous as she is, Courtney Love doesn't get enough credit IMO. The drug use overshadowed her talent, but she's actually an intellectual/well-versed in feminist theory. Hard to believe I know. She was also great in the Larry Flynt movie. I hope she continues to be healthy, because I think a healthy Courtney Love is capable of creating some great work.

DeleteCourtney comes by her brains through her grandmother, the novelist Paula Fox. She didn't know she was Paula Fox's granddaughter until late in life. Fox had a girl out of wedlock when she was 18 & put the child up for adoption. The child was Courtney Love's mother. So there are some brain genes inside that addled head.

ReplyDeleteWhat on earth are you talking about, BurritoWhore? I made an observation about things that Enty has posted in the blog. You're obviously holding onto crap from a long time ago. Don't you think it's time to get over it? CDaN has moved on. It's now ruled by the +1 betches.
ReplyDeleteDM had an article about her weight gain today, pointing out how "healthy" she looks and then snarking on her for wearing a dowdy hippie dress and matronly glasses... so I guess they are calling her fat?
ReplyDeleteShe isn't- she looks pretty good, actually, aside from unflattering styling. This is nowhere near the heaviest she's been- more like she put on a very needed 20 lbs. The pictures of her at Coachella looked great, except she should have had a slip on under her vintagey nude lace dress.
I really quite like Hole and I never bought Courtney as a Kurt killer. I like her a lot, although I heartily disapproved of the release of his diaries and will never, ever read them.
