The Enquirer says that Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton are splitting up. Their sister publication, Star says it is close and their online brethren, Radar does not know what to report. All one company and all have three different answers. This way they have all the bases covered and can always try and claim they were right. What none of them have got yet is the singer. No, not Blake and Miranda but they know about the singer. She must have so much pressure on her from tabloids to come out and speak and so much pressure from her label to stay quiet and just keep making records. So, far the label has won and she just wants to retreat into her corner and hope this all goes away so she can get back to living.

ReplyDeleteFunny, I JUST read an article in some woman's magazine (given to me by my mother-in-law) that interviewed Miranda about how happy they are.
I think the blind was something about how he promised "the singer" he'd help her in her career? So I'm thinking it's not someone in the mainstream who would need his help.

Does anyone who watches the show know how much the winner is decided by the viewers and how much the winner is decided by the judges? Maybe he promised to get her into the finals?

ReplyDeleteMiranda just posted the other night that she and Blake were cooking dinner together and that he was preparing stuff for their dinner the following night at the same time. It doesn't sound like they're close to splitting (from her perspective) at all.

ReplyDeleteI don't believe this one in reference to B & M (not that there is anything to believe as per Enty); it does, however, match perfectly for Jason Aldean and his recent American Idol incident/divorce announcement. Of course, not many non-country music fans know who he is, so that won't sell the sell magazines. Besides, anyone who knows anything about Miranda knows if something were going on, she wouldn't put up with it and would very publicly be kicking Blake to the curb.

ReplyDelete@Meli, I don't follow this closely, but I believe that Blake was diddling around on Wife #1 with Miranda, so I think that maybe he is not all talk when it comes to running around.

I assume they have an open relationship and he's just not supposed to get caught doing it but if he does she's going to do some big spectacle where she hauls him off to the ranch for a come to Jesus, he won't be heard from for a while, she'll do a cover of. "Fist city" or some other Loretta Lynn song then he'll show up again on all the magazine covers hugging her, saying they're stronger than ever and it will begin again.

ReplyDeleteI think Miranda will stay regardless. Just a feeling I get from her. I know he was married when they got together but I think she'll just accept it as part of the deal. The two of them are a big deal in country music. Not as big as say, Faith and Tim, but big.

Gwen Sebastian. Saw Blake a few weeks ago at a private, small concert. Very down-to-earth and friendly. Spoke several times about Miranda and came across as sincere.

DeleteKelly Clarkson could be the singer. The reference to "pressure" for the singer to "come out" is what makes me think of her. Plus, it would be so twisted, given the fact he's going to officiate her wedding. LOL. But how she could possibly be into that Blackstock dude is beyond me.
