Tonight, Beyonce is supposed to play a show in Belgium. Last night she was supposed to play a show there and had to cancel. She says it is the first time she has ever had to cancel a show and she says it was because she was exhausted. maybe she should not have flown back to New York last week and then back to Europe the next day all so she could go to the Met Ball. I think she loved canceling last night. I think she loves the world talking about her and I bet she is Googling herself right now. Sure, she has assistants who Google for her, but Beyonce is doing it. She loves people speculating about whether she is pregnant.
In all fairness to Bey she never has cancelled a show in her young career and mama GIVES you a SHOW and this from someone who is NOT a fan. I got exhausted watching her last tour (which I got invited to go to by industry friends), I don't know where she gets the energy.

ReplyDeleteMaybe she thought she could be Superwoman and tour while pregnant. Having used a surrogate the first time, perhaps she didn't realize how exhausting a real pregnancy could be.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree that she loves that people are talking about her! Don't really care for her, but this note is no different than her making that video/movie so we could all see what a normal, hardworking gal she it. I call fake.
ReplyDeleteBey is not pregnant. She called for another surrogate but is going to try harder to make this pregnancy look realistic. I don't think she's going to make a huge spectacle of the baby announcement this time around. She's going to stay quiet to keep the tabloid chatter going. She learned lots of tips on how to fake a pregnancy from the last time.

If she blew off her fans with NO notice and shows distain for her audience then I see why all the above comments should be nasty. Her life is filled with travel and time zones. Shows get resheduled...You people love to drink the koolaid.

ReplyDeleteI agree with @skimpymist. She wants to leave absolutely no doubt this time around that she's actually pregnant, though I believe she's using a surrogate again. I think the tour was all part of a master plan. Also, does anyone else feel as though she's babysitting in pics of her holding Blue Ivy? Something just seems off to me... IMO, BTW.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand Beyonce. She's an arrogant Diva. I couldn't care less if she's fake preggers again or not. As a matter of fact, I never talk about her. I care far more about myself than her. I do like that one song she stole from BC Jeans though. If I were a Boy. I like BC's original version of the song far better than Beyonce's ripped off screaching version.

ReplyDeleteUmmm I see nothing wrong with this. Artists cancels shows all the time without explanation. She apologized AND explained herself. She has never cancelled before and does not like to. Also, she's been posting notes to her fans and others for months now so this is no different.

ReplyDeleteYou can hate Beyonce all you please, any of you. But the fact of the matter is that the woman puts on a great show. No one has ever questioned her work ethic. She doesn't blow off concerts or performances. EVER. She's one of the most professional singers out there.

ReplyDeleteHey I just remembered I have a story bout Beyonce! When she was doing her shows in London earlier this month/last month, she was living in Newbury where my cousin lives. My cousins ex spotted her with minder in a shopping outlet kind of place and approached her and told her his friend was he biggest fan, and asked if she would speak to he on the phone. She did and afterwards he asked if there was anyway they could still get tickets to her show, she took his details and a couple of hours later someone showed up at his door with two tickets to her show.

ReplyDeleteI want to like Beyonce, I really do. She's like Lady Gaga; sometimes she makes it so hard to like her. She's a strong, powerful, beautiful, successful woman and I admire the hell out of that. But some things just don't sit right, you know?

ReplyDelete@chopchop same feelings here. Kudos to her for being such a successful woman. I like that H&M hasn't photoshopped her in their bikini ads. I like that she's successful, healthily ambitious and works hard. Love that she has a healthy body (ie, not a waif).
