    Does coachella have a celebrity VIP section or do they mingle with the common folk. Do you have to buy tickets or is it general admission.

      There is a VIP beer garden and a GA beer garden. The price is about $400 difference but it's definitely worth it.

    We have Mounties at Parliament Hill, Niagara Falls etc in full dress mufti. I asked one once what Staff Sgt she pissed off to get that duty. (She laughed.... Knowingly).
    I have to wonder what Inspector they had to piss off to get red carpet duty?

    Great. Celebs have traded in their horizontal stripped outfits for ugly geometric shapes. It's annoying how sheep like they are.

    I for one think Mischa can't do better than this guy (and I don't think he is that bad). I will say this for her she doesn't scream poser to me. I think she really is there for the music.

    Ok so Carly Rae won three Junos, whoop. The most noteworthy moment of the night BY FAR was KD Lang's acceptance speech. She was given one of those awards where they put together a montage of tributes by other artists, which was great. But her acceptance speech was so gracious, so moving, I cried like a baby. Of course because we're Canadian it's barely registering on the interwebs, but it was a master class in how to accept an award.

    Hey, I like Marion's outfit--she's always very well put together. The sweater is on the loud side, but the rest of her outfit, accessories included, is very low-key, which lets the sweater take the spotlight.

    Mischa looks very pretty in that outfit; her fellow wouldn't be half-bad either, if he'd stop scowling and smile.

    @Mari, we were in Banff a few months ago and of course they have a Mountie in full red serge walking around town. I overheard him say that he was based in a Calgary detachment but came out one weekend a month to pose for pictures with tourists. He sure earned his money as he had a huge line of people wanting a picture!

    My cop friends have always said when you're very bad you get assigned to the airport.
