ReplyDeleteSheesh. Kris Kristofferson IS nearly 80 years old at this point, I think. Babs is also no stranger to a nip here, a tuck there, and an injection anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI saw him and Merle Haggard together a couple of years ago and it was one of the coolest shows I've ever been to. There was a sweet little man in his 80s sitting next to me just singing his heart out to every song.

Helena Bonham Carter playing La Liz?
Please, please please, tell me two things.
First, I'm not dreaming and two, Tim Burton's not attached.
I actually think I could see Helena as Liz in the era of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf or Butterfield 8--the years she and Burton were drinking and acting together. She has the right look. I don't know if she could do the voice--but she looks enough like her to me.
