Whoa Angie usually looks skeletal, but whoa. the claw, the boney knee caps...jeez. At least teen mom farrah isn't going to sink with those plastic funbags. Dan Rad is pretty short. I'm 5'9 and have given up my days of wearing heels, I just hate towering over everyone. It feels so unladylike and unfeminine to be this huge jolly green giant woman, hellooooo little people down there, how are yooooo? (Villagers running screaming)
ReplyDeleteI am 5'9" too and at my last job my boss was 4'8" so I stopped wearing heels for almost six years and now feel like I am on stilts when I put them on. Can't do it. I have a crush on Stephen Merchant (The Office co-writer) mainly because I could wear 3" heels again and still be shorter than him.

I'm the opposite. 5'8 and there's not a day of work I'm not in 3 inch heels on my feet all day.

DeleteThe only reason I don't wear heels is because they are *so* uncomfortable. I think you should flaunt your height, it is an amazing gift and most people you "tower over" would love to have your height. BTW, 5'8" ain't nothin...I'm a 6'1" woman and am fabulous. Be proud!

ReplyDeleteOh you tall girls. Embrace the height! The Opster is 1.5" taller than me until I put on the heels and he accuses me of heightening. But I still love being a tall woman. However I cannot wear heels higher than 4" cuz it hurts too much and I feel like I'm going to topple over and break an ankle.

ReplyDeleteTall girl here too! I'm the exact height as my husband so I stopped wearing heels once we began dating. Now I don't even care because I don't want to trip or fall while I'm out carrying one of my kids.

I can't wear heels anyway ("heels"="anything over 1.5" high) because I have weak ankles, bad feet, and incredibly narrow heels that makes shoes slip around on my feet, and because I would strongly prefer to not be a menace to myself and others. I'm 5'3" (well, at least first thing in the morning...), and I've accepted that I'll just have to wait for my next life to be a taller person; it's also part of the reason I don't have any issues w/shorter men--as long as they're at least as tall as me, it's good, and at my height, that includes most of them.

Daniel Radcliffe is about 5'4". he is short, but not a Lilliputin. Those people next to him look like they are gigantic.
