Yesterday, when Vikram Chatwal got arrested in Ft. Lauderdale trying to board a plane with a paragraph's worth of drugs, I thought to myself, well, it figures, I mean you are not going to hang around Lindsay Lohan unless you also have some drugs. Lots of them. Chatwal, who has actually been spotted making out with Lindsay and is acknowledged as one of her sugar daddies and a guy who has spent a ton of money on her, was arrested with a variety of street drugs like heroin and coke and also a ton of prescription pills that he did not have a prescription for. He was on a flight to New York. I wonder if he was going to meet Lindsay. Was he bringing her drugs? If so, will she be able to find replacements? What will she do without a free hotel to stay in and party in? Chatwal owns the Dream Hotel.

How is a guy who is worth that much money caught with drugs on his person? It seems like he would pay someone to carry them. People have done a lot worse for say, ten grand. I still cannot believe he was dating Padma. He sounds like a real treat.

ReplyDeleteNY Daily News reports he was picked by "behavior detection officials" at the airport, so he was probably high as a kite and not thinking very clearly. Here's what they found:
Police say Chatwal, a good pal of trouble magnet Lindsay Lohan, was packing heroin, cocaine, ketamine, pot and an assortment of powerful pills when “behavior detection officers” flagged him for a search at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Tuesday.
Security found more than a dozen loose white pills in his carry-on bag and a packet of cocaine in his jacket pocket and arrested Chatwal on the spot, a police report from the Broward County Sheriff's Office states.
Investigators later found a clear baggie in the crotch of Chatwal's pants that contained 6 grams of heroin, a half a gram of ketamine and 3.5 grams of marijuana, the report states.

TSA agents found a small white plastic-wrapped package in the top right pocket of his jacket. The half-gram of white powder tested positive for cocaine, the report stated.
Chatwal was arrested and the search continued. Agents found a clear plastic bag tucked intp the crotch of Chatwal’s pants. A field test confirmed 6 grams of heroin were wrapped in wax paper inside the plastic bag. Also wrapped in plastic were 3.5 grams of marijuana and a half-gram of ketamine, investigators said.
There were 16 prescription pills, three Xanax bars and three foil packets of non-prescription pills in Chatwal’s bag, according to the arrest report.
Chatwal had no prescriptions for any of the pills and told narcotics detectives that he bought the controlled substances illegally, the report stated."

Flora, Wow you got me thinking. Everything she's done lately has seem so staged. Even the photographs from Brazil. The fact that nobody at a courthouse appears to know anything about lock-down facilities? As if she's the only person who has ever been told to go to lock-down rehab? The new attorney. The fact she wasn't concerned.
ReplyDeleteDid she turn this guy in because she owes him money and he was starting to ask for payment? Or because he wasn't interested in seeing her anymore and she used him as a trade for her own freedom?
And then someone sold a story to TMZ saying that good old Lindsay, being a true concerned friend, had tried so hard to stage an intervention for this guy cause she was so concerned about his drug use. Which goes with the idea that she possibly turned him in 'for his own good'. She just happened to get off.
How many other dealers and protectors will keep providing and protecting if they have an inkling that this could be what happens.....
I don't think Lohan had anything to do with it. In fact, he was caught the old fashioned way, through his own stupidity:)
