It seems like everyone who is slightly famous and wants to lose more than 5 pounds these days has some kind of weight loss deal. Either they are shilling some kind of diet pill or they are using one of the many weight loss systems and are getting paid big bucks to lose a lot of weight so you will be inspired by their dedication and fork out a bunch of money and use that specific system. Even if they did not use that system, there is still a chance they can get paid as long as they are willing to pretend. Chaz Bono is no exception to the deal, but hey, at least he looks great. Originally Chaz had lost 43 pounds and credited a food delivery system. Now he says the last 17 pounds have been all him through diet and exercise and changing the way he lives.

ReplyDeleteHe looks good. IMO it doesn't matter how he loses the weight, food system or not. Besides, its not likely he did it just for free food in exchange for a commercial...does anyone really think a transsexual would be tolerated in ultra-conservative middle America?

Technically, Chaz is the only person in charge of defining whatever gender identity he wants. And that is male. You have never met him, I would imagine. How is it up to you to articulate his personhood? If it was you in this situation I could imagine you'd be pretty upset that some complete stranger was speaking for you...

ReplyDeleteI still remember the cute little girl he was being held up by Sonny at the end of every Sonny and Cher show. He still has the same smile. Good for him for losing the weight.
ReplyDeleteHe looks awesome & happy. Kudos to him. And I think he's more natural & honest & had fewer surgeries than his mom, so I hope she's more supportive of him now.
