  2. That's a great guess!

  3. Sandra Bullock and that movie she is doing with Melissa McCarthy?

  4. I would guess it's someone whose announcement would hardly surprise us, and we'd be like... yawn.

  5. I hope it's Sandy.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Bullock is a better option, didn't see A list part...

    ReplyDelete
  7. Let it be Charlize! And then let her confess her love to me and we get married and blablabla.

I realize I sound kinda obsessed. xD

  8. Just looked at upcoming releases through August. There aren't any movies I can see that would "make sense" for someone coming out during the press rounds.

But I hope this is Sandra Bullock too!!

  9. Sandy came to mind immediately

  10. VIP---Swank has the HBO movie "Mary and Martha" premiering tomorrow. It's red-carpet premier seems to have been last night.

    Maybe it is Swank.

  12. Who would use Jessie James as a beard? Surely Sandy had to be BLINDED by love to get involved with that.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Maybe Diane Keaton?

    ReplyDelete
  14. LOL @Ali. So true!

  15. I read somewhere Jesse was her friend and her beard but things went wrong when and he took the hit in the divorce. If she did all that to hide it why would she come out now? That said I still think it's Sandra, maybe she's just tired of playing the game.

  16. Michelle Rodriguez movie fast 6

    1. That would be a great guess but Michelle's not Oscar nominated.

  17. @portlandjewel - Maybe it's the Clay Aiken reason of wanting to be honest now that he has a kid. It could have to do with Louie. She's not doing as many romantic comedies anymore. Maybe she figures her career won't take a hit like it would have 10 years ago. It will be interesting to see if it happens.

  18. Charlize Theron. Her long-time boyfriend Stewart whatever is highly questionable. And Seth McFarland, come on! Plus, her mother shot and killed her abusive father so who knows what when on in her childhood... Not all gays are born - some are made.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sandra Bullock for The Heat?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Queen Latifah?? I know everyone already knows about her but I don't think she has ever publicly said that she is gay.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I second Queen Latifah.

    ReplyDelete
  22. does Kristen Stewart have something coming out?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Seabee is just ridiculous

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'll go with Queenie too.

And sorry...Gays are not MADE. You really are born that way. Sorry Seabee but that's the thought that people have that make them afraid of having a gay friend. Because they're afraid they will try to turn them gay.

    1. Agree, not made or chosen. Either u gay or ur not.

    2. I know people born gay but I also think some environmental factors may play a role in some situations (but I don t think that sexual abuse is one of them) and I am convinced you don t become gay by hanging out with gay friends. Anyway, any researcher who would try to investigate that would be harped and criticized by both gays and homophobes ...

  26. Does Jodie Foster have a movie coming out? I know she made that speech, but she never actually said the words.

    ReplyDelete
  27. So obviously Jennifer Lawrence.

    ReplyDelete
  28. the Queen or Sandy. But the Queen isn't A list.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well so much for all the political lesbians from the early radical feminist era.

  30. I read "intense" as "incense" (duh!) & thought J Law for some reason. & boo @seabee. I mean really?! Shame on you.

  31. I actually had an interesting conversation with some lesbian friends recently. While they (a couple) said they were both "born," they said they know quite a few lesbians who were "made." I was all indignant, because much of gay rights has been about educating people that being gay is not a choice. But these two shrugged and said, "whatever, the fact is that we know a lot of women, especially older ones, who just decide they'd rather have love relationships with women from now on." Fwiw, they didn't think this was the case with men.

I can see that, actually. Mr. Figgy aside, a LOT of men are pretty damn awful.

    1. @ Figgy - agreed. I have quite a few patients that have experienced sexual trauma at the hands of a man and from that point forward, began only romantic relationships with woman. *I've only had female clients do this, no men.

Also, FWIW, I do not believe I was "born" a lesbian/bisexual but know that from this point forward, I would only be interested in having an intimate relationship with another woman. I wasn't born gay at all, it has just developed over the past thirty years.

  32. Jessica Chastain. (intense...)

  33. The Queen. Didn't she win or was nominated for an Oscar for Chicago?

I think Jesse James would be a great beard for someone who was really really trying to hide being gay. I think the press found out about him and the skank and what else was Sandy to do but play the "victim". That and I can't figure out for the life of me why she and Keanu haven't gotten together. Sandy is either very stupid or very gay.

    1. Isn't Keanu gay though? I've heard that he is.

  34. Does Queen have anything coming out this summer though? I only saw one movie on imdb with no release date. A different site said it's not coming out until 2015.

  35. Just to jump on the "born" vs. "made" bandwagon. I completely believe that the majority of LGBT folks are born this way. However, I do know of at least two lesbians who were so tragically abused early in life by men that they are completely not interested in males in any capacity. So, yes, there are some gays who are "made," predominantly because the alternative is completely abhorrent to them.

  36. I don't think sexuality is always so black and white. Many people are born gay and have no interest in the opposite sex. But some people date the opposite sex their whole lives, then meet someone of the same sex that they are attracted to, or they have an experience that colors their sexual preferences. We need to stop being so obsessed with classifying everybody in such a limited way.

    1. THANK you. Fluidity is a hallmark of human nature. Why WOULDN'T sexuality be included in that?

  37. charlize (or anyone, for that matter) could also "come out" as bi. so that it would be her being honest about her sexuality, without conflicting her past dating history.

    ReplyDelete
  38. yes @jeneral, sexuality is a spectrum, with multiple components. i dont like these little boxes we try to fit ourselves into.

    ReplyDelete
  39. You can catch gay too right? Geez.

    ReplyDelete
  40. My cousin is gay and firmly believes that she was "made" that way by her childhood, which I won't get into but I could totally understand. I think it can go either way, and what's the problem with that? None.

Well except for crazies who have lots of problems, homophobia being one of them.

  41. Queen Latifah to make the obvious official.

I want this to be Sandy but is probably Queen Latifah. It seems like she already did but I guess not offically.

  43. I think it's Charlize, but I'm hoping it's JLaw. She handles herself so well in the media, and is the queen of the comeback. I'd like to see her own it and make the haters shut it.

  45. @M52799 The rumors that Keanu is gay have been around for many years, however, a revealed blind in the last couple of years says he not (he was "hit on" by John Travolta backstage at an awards show).

  46. Zoe Saldana in Star Trek?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Both Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence have boyfriends. Chastain is dating some Italian dude and was seen with him after the Oscars. Charlize Theron used to be engaged to Stuart Townsend. Don't think it's any of them. Whoever guessed Diane Keaton, that's actually a very good guess.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Key word is A list Oscar winner/nominee. Queen latfah hasn't won an Oscar. Neither has chastin. Jlaw make sense but she don't have a movie coming until September. Diane Keaton is perfect she has a movie coming out next week with Robert de Niro.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I do believe if you hang out with your gay friends and see how happy they are, you might begin to question the beliefs and life choices that you've been making thus far. If you should then decide that your life up until that point has been unfulfilling, and decide to make changes, then yeah, I suppose some folks call it 'catching the gay'. I'd call it wanting to be true to yourself, but that's just my opinion. Whoever this actress is, I wish her all the best.

  50. Sandra Bullock will never come out of her closet. I am thinking Jessica Chastain.

  52. If this WAS JLaw, there is absolutely no way she'd come out now! She's literally the "it girl" now, A List, Oscar winner, able to get any movie role she wants. I don't think her managers or any studio heads would let her come out if she wanted to! Not to say that I think she's gay, because I don't.

I could see this being Sandra Bullock - and I'd love her even more for being honest and brave!

  53. Sandy or QL.
    Charlize goes both ways.
And whoever said Diane Keaton--that's a LOUSY guess. Too many long term relationships in her past: Pacino, Woody, Warren.

  55. I can't but wonder about some of the comments. Queen Latifah? Ok, she´s totally queer, she sweats testosterone out of every single pore but (it may be because I'm German) the last time I heard about QL was somewhere in the late 90s so how can she possibly be "A list"? A quick check also reveals that she never received an Academy Award, she was just nominated. Like basically everybody else in the business. If she weren't mentioned here, I'd have completely forgotten about her. She's like Z--- list by now, except maybe in the mind of some old hip hop lesbians.
Charlize Theron? Ok, I can totally see that. She has a very strong "lesbo aura", she was not just nominated but also won an Oscar, so I put my money on her.
But then again, Hillary Swank is even more lesbian, so lesbian that I most always have the impression her best acting skill is pretending to enjoy wearing fancy skirts and trying to show some affection for anything male.
Sandra Bullock, though? It never made sense to me, I just don't understand why so many people keep calling her a closeted lesbian. I just don't see it. All I see is an insecure, middle-aged woman, much rather being the victim of some manipulative bad boy porn entrepeneur wannabe rockstar guy again than being a lesbian. I guess, she really just belongs into the "you wish" category... (And I'm saying that as a man who's not sexually interested in women)
