Blind Item #1

This former A list mostly movie actor who achieved such results only thanks to a franchise and has since been demoted to B-, and maybe even C+ has had a tough time getting work. He has been booked for a few things in the past year but has been such a drunken mess that no one wants to work with him any longer. When you can't remember your lines, show up to work late and throw up over your co-workers, then you don't get hired.

  1. Someone from the Batman franchise like Michael Keaton or Val Kilmer?

  2. Sounds a lot like Shia.

  3. @wahoo I like the Shia guess. He was fired from that broadway show an he used to be on even Stevens (hence mostly movies)

  4. At first I was thinking it could be someone from Twilight, but I really like the Shia guess.

  5. Daniel Radcliff

  6. Praying this isn't Dan Rad, who's looking rough in the DM today.

  7. I thought Shia but didn't he start his career on Even Stevens on Disney?

  8. Mickey Rourke from Iron Man?
because he never knows his text,he's painful and he's always late(but it's not a secret)

Shia has some interesting movie projects actually

Kilmer again becomes a serious actor on set

  9. Shia. He only had two projects last year, three if you count the naked video.

  10. Zac Effron? just because

  11. Okay, remembering your lines likely a challenge for anyone, but how fucking hard can it be to show up late and throw up on your co-workers. If that's you're biggest hurdle to gainful employement, you're doing it wrong.

Look at George Wendt. He made a career of sitting at a fake bar, drinking beer, and throwing up on his co-workers. That mutherfucker was NEVER on time.

    #WWGWD?

  12. Despite all of Shia's problems he has not had a hard time finding work, he's rumored to be in talks for Brad Pitt's next movie Fury.
I really don't understand Hollywood's love affair with Shia and it wouldn't bother me if it were him.

I do hope this is not Dan Radcliffe though.

  13. Hayden Christensen. I really have nothing to back this up, I just want to throw it out there.

  14. @montana yes he did thats why it says mostly movies. He wasnt really a list til transformers.

  15. @sylmarillion: Shia is in the next David Ayer with Brad Pitt and could act next to De Niro in Spy's Kid by DJ Caruso (if the schedule fits):it's only his movie news since a month

  16. Shia is very good in Lawless or Robert Redford movie

  17. a-lister who has fallen to a c,

hasn't worked in a year or more,

    problems with alcohol.

seems like this could be someone older (over 30)

  21. Shia seems overly self-obsessed with his 'artistry' as an actor kind of like James Franco turned out to be, so while he may be difficult to work with, I don't think he'd be this sloppy.

  22. @Unknown. I hate to say it, but I "like" that guess. Brendan's been in The Mummy franchise and the first Journey movie, he's trying to get his child support reduced because he's not working, and he does appear to have that alcohol bloat going on these days. Sucks, because I really like him.

  23. Dan Rad I think sadly. He's admitted to issues with drink before & often see him in pics looking a little rough. Then again have heard many reports from his time on stage & film that he's a hard worker, professional etc so while I def could see him having issues with drink & perhaps other things, I think he's managed to keep it from affecting his work so far. Hope he works out ok, seems a lovely guy & always loved his vocal support for LGBT issues.

  24. Thank goodness it's not Dan - he has upcomig projects and is in rehearsals for a play. That Daily Mail article also says he's learned all hies already, and always does so at the very beginning of any project.

  25. I thought Mel. Franchise could be Lethal Weapon movies.

  26. learned all his LINES, sheesh

  27. Sounds like the male version of LiLo, i'm sure he can get money the same way she does.

  28. I'm with Jen Jen...Keanu Reeves

    ReplyDelete
  29. Just throwing this out there:Tobey Maguire, just because he hasn't been in much lately and he's most famous for Spider Man movies.

    1. Gatsby will return him to the forefront. He has that upcoming flick playing Bobby Fischer, that looks like Oscar bait, also.

Keanu is also busy producing & directing, also getting the supposedly new Bill & Ted taken care of.

  30. There is no way Keanu Reeves is a C, and he always has consistent work.

  31. Daniel or Shia. But wasn't there a story about Daniel getting help for his alcoholism? Maybe that didn't work out. As for Shia, I had this impression that he was more into other stuff rather than liquor. And I think his professional problems stem more from him being an ass rather than just being drunk all the time.

  32. Pattinson? I don't hear much about him outside of his faux relationship with the frowny chick, but he doesn't seem to have many projects outside of the sparkly vampire thing.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Pattinson? He drinks a lot doesn't he? This could also be Daniel Radcliff maybe?

  34. Shai

    Hayden

    Orlando

    Brandon Fraiser

    Paul Walker

  37. I really wanted this to be arnold schwarzenegger... Terminator for the franchise.

I'm going to say Pattinson. He's always looked filthy, unshaven, three sheets to the wind, at press events and his alcoholism is well known. Get it together man.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Brendan Fraser makes sense. He starred in the "The Mummy" franchise, he's got money woes and baby mamma drama - perfect recipe for hard drinking and a general "don't give a f*" attitude.

He can't act, emote, sing, write, produce, direct, or dance, he'd be great in modeling though. Not my cup of tea, but apparently girls seem to like him. I take that back, apparently girls seem to be confused that he's not a fictional vampire from a prepubescent sophomoric love story. So, I guess he's got that. He'd better pray that Stephanie person writes more books. I do hope he has good advisors and accountants. Poor kid probably doesn't even realise he's next up on the hamburger grinder conveyor belt for washed up teen idols.

  41. My kids were big fans of Shia before Transformers. He built up a huge fan base in Even Stevens. I don't like him, bit he doesn't fit the clue at all.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ino - Last I remember, Radcliffe didn't say he was getting help, he just said he was avoiding alcohol altogether because he had the potential for problems with it. I remember that because my reaction was, "Every alcoholic says that."

I'm going with the guy from the American Pie franchise who used to date Katie Holmes. I forgot his name.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Totally Brendan Frasier.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It's definitely not Robert Pattison. He was filming in Australia, has recently left to film another movie and has just signed on for third movie.

I'm signing onto the Brendan Fraiser guess.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Franchises can be James Bond too. Or Police Academy :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Lindsay Lohan seems to get hired despite showing up to work drunk. Or on *something*

    ReplyDelete
  47. Not Keanu, he has several films coming out this year, his directorial debut included. Man of Tai Chi I believe is its name.

    ReplyDelete
  48. 100% on the Brendan Fraser train.

  50. I'm going with Daniel Radcliffe, he's been looking really rough lately.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Brendan Fraser got 8 movies in the work this year. Shia always in movies. Daniel or Paul.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I don't think it's Daniel Radcliffe, he's constantly working. He has several things in production at the moment, was in A Young Doctor's Notebook last year with John Hamm, also The Woman in Black, so always in employment.

I would guess Shia, just because he looks so unhealthy and has the crazy thing going on.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Keanu's movies have grossed $3.8B worldwide. Pretty sure that's enough to make him perma A list.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Maybe the guy from Avatar?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Sounds like Daniel Radcliffe. So sad. He's so talented.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Keanu has three indie movies on the go in the next 3 months. He produced all three, so not him. Sparkles/vampire also has projects lined up.

    ReplyDelete
  57. so, I'm going with Laurance Fishburne.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Robert Pattinson? He can't still be A list.
