3 Doors Down Bassist Charged With Vehicular Homicide By Intoxication
3 Doors Down bassist Robert Harrell was charged by police with vehicular homicide late Friday night after Harrell, who was driving well over the speed limit, hit a pickup truck. The collision forced the truck off the side of the road and down an embankment where the truck overturned and the driver was ejected. Police discovered that Harrell had been drinking and also found numerous different prescription drugs on his person. His bail was set at $100K. Harrell had previously been charged with DUI last year. The photo from that arrest is above.
Let's CSI this shit out!

DeleteThe police statement said Harrell, of Mt. Juliet, also was charged with bringing controlled substances into the jail. Authorities said sheriff's deputies discovered a plastic bag concealed in his sock that contained 8 Xanax pills, 24 Oxycodone pills and 4 Oxymorphone pills during a search at the booking room.

My heart goes out to the truck driver and his family.
ReplyDeleteDamn. The cute ones are always such idiots.
ReplyDeleteDragon, now we need the local govt website that has the report and we need to find out what penalties that these charges face. Hopefully this asshat will never get out. Lindsay, meet your future. RIP and prayers to the family.

ReplyDeletephoenix, cool:)
DeleteWow, again, nice one Agent It. Let this be a lesson to all those who would drive intoxicated. It's a shame that he didn't take the wake up call of the d.u.i arrest last year. Then bringing the pills in to the jail? Sad that it came to this, that an innocent person had to lose their life because of the addiction of one person. Take heed Lindsay Lohan.
ReplyDeleteOh this guy has lohan- sized addiction. Please get help. Im so sick of losing people from drugs!!
ReplyDeleteOxymorphone is the generic for Opana. I had to take it for about a year and it was supposed to be a long acting pain med that doesn't give you a high. But I guess people will snort anything. It really pisses me off when people are so irresponsible and have such a low value for other people's lives. Because he wanted to get high and drive he killed someone's son, brother, husband, or maybe father. If they want to ruin their own lives, atleast have the respect to do it behind closed doors and don't drive. I'll get off my soapbox now.
ReplyDelete*pushes soap box back over*
DeleteYou're right, and frustration is understandable. if you wanna hurt yourself, please, by all means, snort whatever your poor nose can Hoover up, but getting behind the damn wheel changes everything. +1
It is not easy to get Opana either. I read that and thought he has to be seriously in addiction
Deleteauntliddy, he'll have cold turkey detox. I really have no feelings about his addiction but have a lot of empathy for the family of the victim. Lost a BIL to a drunk driver. This dude is in his forties. He chose to not seek help for his addiction and resources were available first time around. I have compassion for addicts and drunks, but I also have wisdom that has been earned. Sad.
ReplyDeleteso sick of addicts killing other people because they think they can drive. hope he NEVER gets out!
ReplyDeleteAnother guy with a DUI allowed to drive?
ReplyDeleteWow, so he contributed to the death of someone while under the influence, & still the comments aren't as vicious as a Chris Brown posting.
ReplyDeleteAl Michaels, Reese Witherspoon & this guy all get arrested Friday night for drunk driving. What was the occasion for all this celebration?
ReplyDelete4/20 day!? Lol
