  2. That was funny as hell. I wonder how long it stays up before the Queen Bey tries to scrub her from the Internet like she did those Superbowl pics. Lol!

  7. Alicia - I think I commented at my usual 10pm last night, but um CONGRATS!!!!!!!! XOXOXOXOXOXO

Send of all, I swear to God I'm not intentionally trying to be annoying, but I like Beyonce too! Dammit cuz I like being one of the cool kids!! Not that I'm her number 1 fan, but I think she's talented and I did actually watch about half her documentary. I teared up at the song she wrote as a tribute to the child she lost in a miscarriage. It was really really sad :(

Sunny - thank you!!!!!!!!! The drs cleared us to try again in February after our m/c in November.. We got it first try! And I feel 100% better than I did last time so we are taking that as an excellent sign!! We are insanely excited around here :-)

I love old Beyonce .. I still adore her in Austin Powers.. But like with so many amazing artists I feel like she's become more " brand " than real art these days. Too mass produced and overly careful to retain " image ". I miss the sweet girl with the great laugh and the big booty!!

    1. Ditto! Old Destiny's Child-loved them. Still enjoy all the "Jumpin, Jumpin," "Survivor," "Bills, Bills, Bills," ( written by Real Housewives of ATL's Candi Burress), but this version now is like a delusional gangsta Goopy Paltrow, w/o ever being gangsta. Paaaassss.

  13. Congratulations Alicia! Praying that you have a very healthy little person. No doubt he/she will be enveloped in love.

I haven't seen this video yet but I thought Bey was one of the best parts of Austin Powers.

  15. That is such a good impersonation of Bey's voice. I hope she sees this video. She needs to get over herself. I used to like Destiny's Child so much and now I can barely stand her.

  20. Woohoo - congrats, Alicia!

I was on FB this morning and my BIL posted a picture of my niece in her Easter outfit. I was with my sis one year ago when she had her, and I was all, "Mah bahbeeee!!" throbbing ovary auntie momster.

I'm a cynical, sarcastic b* but babies do me in every single time. Doing the happy baby dance for you & the little bean!

  25. @ bri swartley - Beyonce strong-armed "a co-written by" song writing credit out of Kandi Burruss (which she probably did not deserve, but Kandi had no legs to stand on back then). The song won a Grammy for best R&B song.

  26. That was great! I was hoping she was going to do the, "say hi to Mr. Microphone," and then pass off the baby, in a "get it off me," tone (think, John Robert's from his mother's day video -w/ the breakfast in bed scene).
