LaToya Jackson Has Paris, Blanket & Prince Under Contract
There is a great little piece in the NY Post about how LaToya Jackson is doing her best to get a reality show starring her three nieces and nephews. She has already signed them to her talent agency and is getting commissions on what they do and now wants them to agree to sign on to do a reality show. The way LaToya is probably working that deal is that she will not only get a management fee, but also producer fees and every other kind of fee she can think of and the kids won't end up with much of anything, but a life in front of the cameras for as long as LaToya wants them to do it. Paris is balking at doing the show and honestly, if I am buying this show, I want Paris. If I can't get them all, then I am saying no and that also means that LaToya will probably have to keep hustling for money or spending long weekends looking through all of Michael's old things.
Well can we say this wasn't expected of someone in the family? I'm just surprised they haven't done this sooner.
ReplyDeleteThat family has no shame. You have to wonder about any group amongst where Michael Jackson was the most down to earth. He would be sick to see how his family is exploiting these kids.
ReplyDeleteHer face looks like it's melting in that photo. Isn't a life in front of the cameras the opposite of what Michael wanted for his kids?
ReplyDeletenooo! Michael Jackson always wanted to protect his kids!!
ReplyDeleteThe kids aren't all that young any more, particularly Prince and Paris. I don't know of many American teenagers who don't dream of being pop stars or famous in some way. Prince and Paris could very well be driving this themselves.
ReplyDeletethey are all, obviously, minors. So both of their legal guardians would have to sign off on any contracts. Can't expect much from Granny after that whole kidnap thing last fall. Hopefully the other guardian (cousin?) has their best interest at heart. Otherwise, Janet and the other vultures will rob them blind.
ReplyDeleteJanet? Have you lost your mind? She is worth $300 million ALONE and just married a billionaire. Try again!
DeleteThe 2 older kids love the attention and will def do something as soon as they're able to, this deal well who knows..
ReplyDeleteI would not be surprised if they file for emancipation as soon as possible so they can handle their own affairs...
I feel bad for the kid named Blanket. It would be fine as a nickname, but as a legal name... that's almost as mean as having Toyota Jackson as your guardian.
ReplyDeleteHis name is Prince Michael II. Not much better to have the same name as your older brother but better than actually being named Blanket.
DeleteHow about 8 George & 4 Georgia Foremans?
Delete"George!' 'Not you! George #2!"
I don't have a lot of hope for these kids to turn out even remotely normal/well-adjusted. It's unfortunate that the Jacksons continue perpetuating a legacy of F'd-up-ness.
ReplyDeleteI think Prince and Paris will be fine, but Blanket always looks angry and emo.
ReplyDeleteI agree. He seems unhappy. I dont think the jacksons, for obvious reasons, have any idea of how to parent normally. Im hoping for the best for these children.
DeleteWhy are they under contract? What talents do they have? Just being MJ's children (and probably not his biological children) doesn't mean they have something to offer. She must be planning on some sort of reality crap.
ReplyDeleteIzzie - it is a nickname. The two boys have the same name and blanket is II - I think.
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks, Mikey! That's almost as bad, having the same name as your brother. Weird. But then, MJ wasn't known for being conventional, eh?
DeleteI hope Arnie Klein proves at least 1 out of 3 is his heir
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he may have to do that from jail...
DeleteStay strong, Paris!!!
ReplyDeleteThe older boy was on Entertainment Tonight (?) as a guest correspondent recently. He seemed to really enjoy it, but he wasn't that great.
ReplyDeleteExactly Cheryl. He does look angry. I am hoping it is just those fierce eyebrows.
ReplyDeleteRedHeadMed, I saw him do that as well. I can't help but think what a great way to try on a possible career.
I don't know to what extent talent is genetic. Not only are these kids probably the bio kids of a dentist and his assistant, but even in the Jackson family itself, 9 out of the 11 kids were hardly major talents.
ReplyDeleteWhat made Michael and eventually Janet good at what they did was a hell of a lot of hard work and drive.
These kids are not growing up in an environment where they will be encouraged to practice a craft - musical or otherwise - and become skilled. Reality stardom may be all they have to offer.
And it might be better for them if they DIDN'T get all of Michael's money. Maybe then they'll find a real, non-famous career at some point.
When i saw the bashir interview, blanket was a corruption of a hindu word meaning peace or something. Its s shame, and they should ask him if he wants to change it. If not, so be it.
ReplyDeleteWay to exploit your deceased brother's kids you money hungry famewhore.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see the kids in their natural hair colors, instead of the blonde bleaching that MJ insisted on doing to them.
ReplyDeleteTo him, they weren't children, they were pap bait.
I remember your blind item about this...Sad...
ReplyDeleteRemember back during the let's-kidnap-Katherine fiasco, everyone kept saying, "I can't believe LaToya isn't involved! Who would've thought she'd be the only sane one?"
ReplyDeletePsychic friend was just playing the long game!
They love their Aunt LaToya, she looks just like their dad.
ReplyDeleteblanket looks bat crazy. Their all vultures. He wanted his kids to live quiet sheltered lives.
ReplyDeleteAnyone notice the girl's shirt "Rock Stars Never Sleep"?
ReplyDeleteIs she wearing that ironically, since it was because he couldn't sleep Jackson was allowing himself to be administered the sedatives that eventually killed him?

ReplyDeleteMJ will be rolling in his grave, I'm sure. I always felt he grudged not having a normal life and wanted as close to normal as possible for his kids. I hope they're strong enough to come out the other end well adjusted and strong. I wouldn't wish their life on anyone.
Blanket looks like that feral little kid from Lost Boys
ReplyDeleteSTAY STRONG PARIS...DON'T GIVE INTO THE DARK SIDE!
ReplyDelete@Evil Kumquat, YES! I noticed that and thought to myself "Huh?? Well, thats not very tasteful.." Really inappropriate to wear a tshirt with that print to some kind of press function where you know your picture will be taken.
ReplyDeleteActually, their names are:
ReplyDeletePrince Michael ("Blanket")
Michael Joseph ("Prince")
Paris-Michael Katherine
Yeah, confusing.
And I think Paris is going to be a fame-whore of epic proportions, but she wants to do it on her terms.
OMG - they are all completely wretched! There are too many years until these kids turn 18 and don't need legal guardians. Is there no one protecting them at all?
ReplyDeleteThis family disgusts me. Those kids have no chance at a semi normal life. The family is too busy trying to pimp them out for all they're worth.
ReplyDeleteblanket reminds me of grumpy cat for some reason... lol
ReplyDeleteThose kids need college. Can't believe LaToya is going the White Oprah route. Surely Janet can put a stop to this. Do you think Paris' shirt is a FU to LaToya for doing this??
ReplyDeleteJC, this family. Someone needs to get those kids out of that famewhoring cult.
ReplyDeleteThey are all under age aren't they? How can they be signed to anything if Katherine and the cousin don't approve?

ReplyDeleteJanet's one of the worst - she was in on the kidnapping the kids' legal guardian scheme - possibly even the frontrunner of the kidnapping scheme. And she did all that just before she secretly married a billionaire - disgusting.
ReplyDeleteEnty do you mean her two nephews and niece? What nieces would she have signed to her agency unless someone else's kid has some hidden talent. Saying her three nieces and nephews certainly doesn't match the photo above.
