James Franco was on Howard Stern yesterday and among the things they discussed was whether James Franco and Lindsay Lohan ever hooked up. Although he did not come out and say anything directly, he implied that Lindsay kept hitting on him but that he turned her down because, "
She was having issues even then, so you feel weird. Honestly, she was a friend. I've met a lot of people that are troubled and sometimes you don't want to do that." I don't think you ever want to do that if Lindsay Lohan is on the other end of doing that. You would have to be pretty desperate that night to do it. I'm still shocked that guys are willing to spend money to hang out with her. They must have devised some type of super condom that makes them feel safe. A bizzle for their whizzle so to speak.

ReplyDeleteAccording to deadline.com, Hathaway turned out to be very annoying during the Oscar rehearsals, and had her assistants check out the script to be sure that she had as many lines as Franco. As a result, Franco mentally checked out of the ceremony.
I'm guessing that Dina Lohan has already started meeting with lawyers to sue Franco for discussing Lindsay on-air.

The next Halloween special will introduce a character from Ravenswood (a town that is near Rosewood). But it's supposed to be all supernatural there and that doesn't really mesh with PLL, in my opinion.

I read the interview and Stern really kept hammering Franco to say something, ANYTHING about Lohag. This was basically the sum total of what he finally said:

And say what you will about Franco (no disputing he comes off as a smug jerk) he never took advantage of someone who was so obviously not in control and was not capable of making an informed decision. I find that honorable. If only the kids in Stuebenville behaved as such.
As someone (me) who actually listened to the interview from start to finish. Stern wasn't hammering him at all. He jumped around a lot in the interview and just kept going back and forth about his love life, career and education.
ReplyDeleteMostly the interview was about why James would take years off from a red hot career and pursue different degrees. He also talked about the teacher that gave him a D and another teacher that was jealous of him and a few that tried to jerk him around.
It was actually a very interesting interview. But of course the media is just going to focus on 15 seconds of it and twist it. Which is exactly what he said would happen.
He was trying to be kind about Lindsay. In print the intent is not the same as he was speaking about her and his life.
He's a dick for saying that about the super condom and all that but other than that I don't get the Franco hate. And I certainly don't get the Franco is gay/bi at ALL. I don't know any gay men who think he swings that way. Any time a guy is ok with his sexuality or isn't some jocked up football hero it means he's gay.
