Heidi Klum Is The Fourth Judge On America's Got Talent

Wanting to get even more celebrities on their show, America's Got Talent hired Heidi Klum to be their fourth judge. She will join Mel B, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel when the auditions kick off in New Orleans. I'm trying to decide what kind of talent she can judge. Modeling? Yep. Making a dress in the 3 minutes allotted? Absolutely. I guess she can judge singing. If there is someone out there who does a great Seal impression or sings original Hoff songs in German and you never thought you would have a chance to make it, now is your chance. A few years ago, I would have never thought judging could be a full-time gig, but Mel B stays busy moving from one country to another only doing judging for various shows.

  1. I think she's like a chocoholic, except with work instead of chocohol.

  3. I like Heidi, but I'm starting to get sick of her. I would, however, like to trade my body for hers. That's not too much to ask, right?

  4. PR fans know, she's great on television. She makes it look easy, but she really is a force when she's on tv. So decorative, yet so unafraid to tell harsh truths.

    Meh.

  9. I'm with you, @GreenMountainGal. I liked her but right after she and Seal broke up, it just started to be the "too-much" train. She's everywhere, dating the bodyguard, doing this, doing that. But I wouldn't be too unhappy about having that figure!

  10. I like Heidi...on Project Runway. I don't understand why she is at EVERY event in Hollywood and other places. Now, every time I see her, I think about that blind about her child rearing practices.

  11. Glitter---Heidi's facade is starting to crack, seriously. I'm a PR fan from the start, and all this work-ahol since the divorce looks like desperation, or proving something to me.

  12. I wish Sharon didn't quit. I never would've watched the show if they didn't score Howard Stern, though. I'll give this season a shot, but most likely won't be into it. Unless Mel B. is going to perform her verse of "Wanna Be" every show, I can't really be bothered with her or Klum.

  14. Wonder why Enty is challenging her qualifications when all the other judges only have celebrity status?

  15. I thought AGT should try to get Queen Latifah or Cher, but the Queen has a talk show in the works, and they were just too lazy to get Cher. Damn it.

  16. Do people still watch the show? I like Heidi but this just seems out of place for her. It's a paycheck, I guess. Still won't watch.

  18. I like Heidi, but you'll notice that Enty is not a fan. Guess he's not always swayed by a pretty face.

I really wanted Seal and Heidi to work. Heidi might not be totally to blame for the failure of their marriage. I get the impression that Seal has a really violent temper. That can't be fun to live with. A model has a relatively short shelf life and I applaud Heidi for making the most of her career while she's still got "it".

  19. Oh, Heidi's a great judge of anything, no matter if she's qualified or not. She's probably one of the most cut throat bitches in the whole biz. anyone who has ever seen her on Germany's Next Top Model will agree. She's mean to everyone involved (lots of the judges have resigned because they didn't wanna put up with her anymore. And this will just be another show she can use to promote herself even more. Can as well just go ahead and rename it to Heidi Klum Show.

  21. Oh man Stern is not going to like this - he was dreading them adding a 4th judge. They should have gotten Rosie.

  22. I think Heidi might be good --she's pretty good at the comments on Project Runway. Seems like it will give her a gig in NYC while Runway is filming since the show moved there for Stern.

AGT is my guilty pleasure summer show along with Big Brother--I'm willing to give her a shot.

  23. Just how many staff does she need? It looks like at least one nanny per child.
