This show is gold for one network but the two co-stars hate each other. A lot. As in, if they have to do something together, they will, but otherwise they don't speak. Both are very likable individually, but one is the perceived star and acts accordingly and the other does not like her for it ans has called her out on it. The actress who is the less perceived star is probably going to be replaced because they have deemed her easy to find anywhere while the other co-star would be impossible to replace with the same kind of talent.

ReplyDeleteI feel like the obvious answer if Nashville, with Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere. I see Hayden as semi-replace-able but I don't see Connie as being a bitch.

ReplyDeleteConnie Britton produces Nashville. If she has a problem with Hayden, it would have been known by now. I doubt this is them. Hayden also does not feel replaceable on that show.

ReplyDeleteNo one is irreplaceable. Look at Valerie Harper, who's been all over the news this week. Much loved, Emmy award winning actress with a show named after her, and they replaced her. The show was named VALERIE, for cryin' out loud, and they had no problem kicking her to the curb.

ReplyDeleteThe first thing that came to mind for me was Nicky Minaj and Mariah Carey on American Idol. They can't stand each other. Gold might be a hint as in the show has had grammy and oscar winners come out of it. The last line really made me think it was those two because it would be easy to replace Nicky, but Mariah would be more difficult. That woman is a Diva with a capital "D", and has earned the title. She has some serious chops, talent, AND a musical background.

ReplyDeleteI feel like it's Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Anna Chlumsky on Veep. Anna's role is something that anyone else could do, really. And Julia almost never tweets about Anna but gives her other costars a lot of love. I almost thought Anna had been written off the show for awhile there.

ReplyDeleteI think Jennifer Morrison and Ginnifer Goodwin are actually good friends in real life, maybe even before the show. They are both pretty essential to the plot although I do need to catch up on a lot of this season.
