Blind Item #3

A new memoir is being passed around town. It is written by this former almost A list actress from back in the day who did not do too badly in the awards department. Anyway, she has already been down this road before, so to make a buck she is having to share more family secrets. How about that a family member used to have to buy drugs for not only his dad, but also his mom and the son and the mom would do them together. Later, the so and the dad would do them together, but the new news is that the mom would do coke and meth with her son.

  1. I thought Tatum too but wouldn't she have been A list thanks to her Oscar?

  2. I read this as Tatum O'Neal as well.

  4. Does that mean Farrah did meth with Redmond?

  5. She won her Oscar when she was a kid. and hasn't made a movie with her name above the title since she was a teenager.

And yeah this very well could be her.

  6. Oh man, if even remotely true, this is 10 kinds of phuqued up!!

I think this is Tatum, too. I read somewhere recently that she's in bad shape again. I don't know if it's true but it's what I read and well....considering her history.

    Ah, Tatum...get well, chickie! :/

Tatum, and Farrah doing meth and coke with Redmond. Shocker. I wondered how in the hell he was so deep in to heroin and meth when he was caught driving high on PCH right after her death. It spoke to him being deep into it for a while. Makes more sense now, if he was grieving for her and doing the drugs they used to do together. Whenever I saw Farrah on a talk show, or being interviewed, she was ALWAYS Courtney Love level shitfaced/high whatever you want to call it. Babydoll voice, slurring, inappropriate laughing/timing/wacky/disheveled. For years.

  8. Geez, I never took Farrah for a methhead. Coke maybe I could see her doing but to do it with your kid is really some fucked up shit.

  9. Poor tatum! And i agree with anna, rest in peace farrah, but she was pretty screwed up. Remember in tatum's book, her and ryan would invite her in bed with them? I wish tatum well, she really tries.

  10. I know a woman who buys beer for her 20 year old son and packs him a bowl. Just that makes me feel ill.

  11. Oh, Tatum. I loved her so much in Little Darlings!

I remember reading about Farrah's cancer and thinking that I am so thankful I'm not famous. Cancer's bad enough, but the whole world knowing you have anal cancer? I would be mortified.

Ryan's a jerk, too. Remember when he blamed Tatum for Farrah's death?

  12. He may not be talking about Farrah but possibly LeighTaylor Young. It sounds like the girl is Tatum and she always needs money.

  13. No wonder Farrah was able to stay so thin as she aged.

  14. If it is Tatum, I'm totally buying it.

  15. Mira sorvino?

On another note, her husband used to work at SUR

  16. From my understanding, the anal cancer Farrah had is highly correlated to anal sex. The more back door partners, the higher the chances.

  17. Other than the "awards" thing, another possibility is Mackenzie Phillips, with Dad John Phillips, mother either Michelle Phillips (did they have a son together?) or the other wife that Mackenzie used to do drugs with whose name escapes me.

With Bonnie Franklin just dying, this blind is rather timely.

  18. I've heard this one before - the O'Neals & Farrah. Sad. :(

  19. If this is Tatum, I'm incredulous that she'd do this, as if the O'Neil family name hasn't suffered enough from what people do know.

  20. I thought of Mackenzie Phillips too, though I don't know either if she had a brother/step-brother.

Tatum's mother is (was)actress Joanne Moore who was also the mother of Griffin. Griffin is the one who had the boating accident in Maryland back in the 80s that killed Francis Ford-Coppola's son.

Anyway, Joanna Moore was known to abuse drugs and alcohol, and sometime in the '70s lost custody of the kids because of it. Once Tatum started making money she was supporting her mother financially more often that not.

  21. I've seen more and more people who are doing or have done drugs getting cancer these days. No good can come from it. I have another friend who used to freebase who now has COPD. Self inflicted illness. I have no idea why this isn't discussed more. One meth head I know had colon cancer at 30 and now lives with a colostomy bag. Sexy! I guess it's a big boon for medical services.

  22. @Scallywag I read this as Tatum's mother as well--not Farrah.

  23. I read it as Tatum.
With the Mom being Farrah "The son and HIS Mom" not their mom or her mom.

FYI Mackenzie Phillips has 3 younger siblings and 1 older. All open drug histories. Mackenzie does talk about scoring her Mom drugs and doing coke in front of her little brother (like 8-10 at the time, now an adult) in her memoir.

  24. "Mackenzie does talk about scoring her Mom drugs and doing coke in front of her little brother (like 8-10 at the time, now an adult) in her memoir."

Her mother, Susie? I didn't think that she was ever involved with drugs. She and John divorced after he hooked up with Michelle, when Jeffrey and Mackenzie (then still called Laura) were very very young. I don't think that even John and Michelle were that heavily into hard drugs yet at that point (early '60s).

Perhaps you meant that she scored drugs for her stepmom Geneviève? I didn't read Mackenzie's book, but I read John's, and this makes a lot more sense to me.

  25. And yeah, I think this is referring to Tatum. I really like her and I always root for her. Here's hoping she can get back on track again if all the rumours lately are true. :-/

  26. I read both of Tatum's books. Those kids never had a chance. She has 3 of her own children and according to what she wrote they seemed to have turned out well, but for the most part were raised by John McEnroe.

  27. When sober, Tatum is a very kind, sweet person. But then, she did introduce me to Eric Clapton at the bar of the Four Seasons, so I have to cut her some slack. Was disappointed the next day when she had to ask her assistant how old her youngest was...

  28. Agree w/Tatums Mom, Joanna guesses. Makes more sense in the Mom & Dad references.
