I have to admit that I love all the AT&T commercials with the kids. what happens when you replace them with NBA legends? A very simple commercial that is still really funny.
I like this commercial, but I have a problem with something. Next time you see it take a look at the regular man's legs/knees. You can see how the big guys have to be far away from the table and their knees don't fit under it? The regular man looks like he has very short calves? or no knees? or something? Can someone help with this? It drives me nuts, lol
@Kloie--My dad knows the guy in the AT&T commercials. He's from Chicago. He just told me that they are pretty scripted (so bummed when I found out!), but they give both the kids and the guy a decent amount of leeway to go off script and improv a bit to see what happens. The guy said for the most part they need the scripts because otherwise the kids sort of go off on tangents and it'll waste a lot of time haha. I thought they were totally unscripted. They seem to be, which makes the commercial even better. I think they're hilarious.
No spoilers here, but it was a great episode! It wasn't incredibly slow moving, like last seasons premier was. I was happy to see a few of the direwolves, those reliable lil scamps!
@rejectedcarebear - I was thinking last night that Cersei must wish Sansa was still the prospective queen she could manipulate. I haven't read the books so I don't know what is going to happen, though.
I was talking to Thor about it last night - just can't figure her out! You're right, RCB, Cersei just looks at her like, damn it! Should've kept the other one!
Joffrey is such a little s*, but he's kind of endearing to me after reading this article (mild S3 spoiler in the article itself, nothing huge but totally Joffrey):
“If you could, clarify that people aren’t mean to me on the street,” Gleeson says while relaxing between takes on the Thrones set in Belfast. “Nobody’s ever said a mean thing to me. Instead people say,’Are you okay? I hear you get bullied on the street.’ And I say, ‘No! Everybody’s been really nice.’”
Thrones producers like to point out, too, that Gleeson is completely polite on the set, yet somehow almost unnervingly makes the right performance choices to make Joffrey come across as despicable as possible.
That's pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteI love how the Enty's are easily amused.
ReplyDeleteThe chairs + extra large humans make it for me.
ReplyDeleteRandom: remember that one that had you feeling sorry for a lamp? I think it was Ikea.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I was just thinking about that the other day! I did feel sorry for it. :(
DeleteActually, I love the ikea one with the little car with the huge rug sticking out both windows, knocking everything over. Heh.
ReplyDeleteYes big people in little chairs is always funny. :)
ReplyDeleteI always wonder if the ads with the kids are scripted, or whether they shoot unscripted footage and choose the funny parts.
ReplyDeleteThat was funny but....the one with the kids is better. More off the cuff I think the saying goes?
ReplyDeleteI just love those commercials! And this one is pretty funny too!

ReplyDeleteGood. Those kids are so fucking annoying and so is the adult.
ReplyDeleteThose kids are the worst. "Sometimes you might want more, but there is only less. You want more! You want more!"
DeleteThe worst! Agreed...lmao!
DeleteCan we use this post to comment about the season premier of GoT?
ReplyDeleteLove this commercial.
ReplyDelete@Eve: GAME OF THRONES! GAME OF THRONES!
ReplyDeleteFinally got caught up on the season 2 finale Friday night and I'm seriously pumped for tonight's premier.
@Izzie, I'm in countdown mode over here!!

ReplyDeleteWinter is coming!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jolene! I appreciate the info and now I can stop wondering about those commercials.
ReplyDeleteI hate these commercials. I change the channel immediately.
ReplyDeleteWinter is almost here...EST. Happy Resurrection Day !
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Is there some sort of holiday other than GOT day today? Lol
ReplyDelete5 minutes left!
ReplyDeleteYaaaaay! The countdown is on. I'm geeked!
ReplyDeleteGreat start!!!
ReplyDeleteHate that little shit King (great actor).
No spoilers:)
I am soooo jealous!! I have to wait for the stream! TYRION FTW!
ReplyDeleteWoo GOT was sweet. Next week looks awesome!!

ReplyDeleteI have to say, I love how much of a shithead Joffrey is. He is such a little weenie!
ReplyDeleteGreat episode! Don't want to give any spoilers. Joffrey still a little sh!t, no surprise there and his mother is just as bad. What is the verdict on Joffreys new fiancée, Margaery? Good or bad?
ReplyDeleteShe's Sunshine and Evil. Terrific.
ReplyDeleteShow Margaery is way better than Book Margaery..and I love how her just being around drives evil Cersei crazy!
ReplyDeleteMargaery is a character I think I will like. She seems very cunning. Plus, I love her voice.

I LOVE those commercials. Although, I'm not sure how effective they are, because I keep forgetting what they're advertising.
