Random Photos Part Two

Jennifer Lawrence kind of looks like a playing card here. Or chess piece.
The best thing about Silver Linings Playbook was seeing Chris Tucker not in a movie with Jackie Chan.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel in London after a Justin performance.
Ke$ha is changing her look and name to K@t.
Isla Fisher and Eddie Redmayne and someone who will have the best shocked face of all-time if she loses Sunday night.
Lucy Liu filming Elementary. Let me know when they get to High School.
Amy Adams and her boyfriend.
Apparently Orlando Bloom has forgiven Miranda Kerr enough to let him grab his butt.
Luke Perry probably wishes someone would grab his butt.

  4. See, Dylan, choosing Kelly ruined your looks. Karma, baby!

Oh how I would love for AnnE to lose, but I don't think that's going to happen.

Kesha is disgusting. Why is she famous?

Bradley Cooper looks good here. I'm going to vomit now.

  5. I'm really hoping Jennifer Lawrence doesn't choose yet another super-pointy-over-constructed dress for Sunday.

Anne did something different. I can't put my finger on it but all I see is Grover from sesame street here.

Can someone explain to me what Biel meant by this tweet, the tit part? "My Huz just killed it on the Brits. and the London fans are the tits!"

    1. @lotta, I don't think it's just a British thing, a few of my friends use it frequently. They also have great tits tho but not sure if that means anything or not haha.

      Delete
    2. "tits" is not British slang, it was hip for younger Americans to say it like 5 years ago. "That's tits!" = "That's awesomely awesome" Biel is just a try-hard, attempting to sound young and failing. Surprise, surprise.

    3. @lotta 'the tits' is used to describe something as really good. The Brits is an annual music awards held in the UK.

  6. Loved SLP! It was good to see Chris T again.

Amy's man doesn't seem to be into her, but then again if they just left the gym I dont blame him.

    3. I am convinced Rachel dresses her like crap on purpose. She is a beautiful girl! That dress could be great but it is just to much for her,

      Delete
    4. Agreed. She needs to switch over to Brad or someone who doesn't mind dressing a girl who isn't 80 lbs. She looked like a bombshell in that red dress at the Oscars the 1st time she was nominated.

    1. @Della. Actually, I enlarged the picture and took a good look at it and looks to me like Luke suffers from the horror that is uncovered FRECKLES. All well and cute when you're younger, but past a certain point they just start looking like age spots.

Lucy Liu is stunning. That British men's poll was crazy.

And poor Luke is starting to go the way of Paul Giamatti.

Does anyone follow Miranda Kerr on Instagram?? About 2 weeks ago, she was posting all these cryptic photos about staying strong, love, etc.

  20. damn enty et al leave Dylan alone! He looks just fine-- just a little scruffy and skinny and (gasp) not in his 20s anymore. Which honestly I'm not sure he ever was even when the show was filming. He was in that Old Navy ad with Kelly & Brandon recently and I thought he looked the best of the 3.

Chris T looks good and is aging well. I don't know what he's really like but I'd grab his buns as well.

  30. Justin and Jessica make my hair stand on end. Can't stand those two, and not sure why. Just a bad, poser, fake mojo they give off. No respect for those two, and wish their faces weren't all over the news all the time.

Having said all that, I do like Justin's music - just wish it came out of a different person.

  31. I love Lucy (love saying that phrase!) on Elementary, I think she plays a great Watson. She's beautiful. Johnny Lee Miller is awesome too.

  32. Awwwww, I read through that reddit thread and this one is my favorite:

I attended an acting class with Josh Duhamel (Transformers) about eight years ago here in Los Angeles. At the time he was known for a role he played on a famous soap opera. We used to chat during smoke breaks and what not and he was an extremely nice guy regardless of his soap opera "celebrity."
Anyway, one day we got on the subject of famous women that we liked. I said ScarJo, Halle Berry, etc. Then he said:
"You know who I love? Fergie."
    "Fergie!? Hell naw, bro."
Then he said, "Whatever man, I love her."
Needless to say I couldn't help love watching his rise to fame about a year later and his subsequent relationship with Fergie herself. I believe they are still together to this day.

  33. @Mikey

I trawled through that reddit thread but could only find one mention of JLaw and it was by someone who said she was her best friend in elementary school. What did the insider say about her?

I can never decide if she's actually an awesome person or a drunk bitch because stories vary so widely.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Sorry, I have to call bullshit on the Josh Duhamel anecdote. 8 years ago was 2005. According to Wikipedia, he met her in 2004. I guess it's possibly true since the poster was a bit vague abt the exact timing, but still...

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Sunny - I think Josh had said that he'd always had a crush on Fergie before they even got together, so that kind of makes sense (if true).

Chris Tucker was hilarious in Silver Linings Playbook.

Luke Perry fans, that is a TERRIBLE picture. He was on Watch What Happens Live recently and still looked good, per my own opinion and several others who Tweeted in to Andy.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Goodnight, yes I went through the thread too and couldn't find it. I seem to remember it was a story in reply to someone else, so it didn't show up on it's own. OR, it was deleted.
The person had a lot of insight on a lot of people and answered every single question that when someone doubted them. They said that Tom Hanks hated being compared to Jimmy Stewart...ugh sorry that and JLaw is all I remember. I'll run thru it again.
This person sounded like they worked on projects for a certain amount of time, like in PR for movies or something.
    Sunny did you see it?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ok I found what you were talking about...it was all by a poster named "Mesbian." I am pasting her original post and follow up posts below:

I'll do you some gossip, first hand or close friend stories that I heard recently, off the top of my head and in no order.
Harvey Weinstein is a ball of red fury, but one of the sweetest guys if you catch him in the right mood. He does however brag about "buying Jen Lawrence an Oscar" lately.
Katy Perry is a conservative weirdo who doesn't seem to like herself very much. Lady Gaga is a paranoid wreck who believes Madonna hates her and she uses the term "fag" in very negative ways. I cried when I met Madonna and she hugged me, so I have no real bad opinions. Ditto Morrissey.
Dave Grohl is exactly the man you expect, as are most alternative musicians and comedians. Colbert is even sweeter than you imagine. Jon Stewart is very very quiet. Letterman is thoughtful, and thinks before he answers any question, Leno is a complete jerk and horrible to everyone. Jimmy Kimmel is very much a frat boy who did well, but he tries hard to do well by everyone.
Brad Pitt expects to intimidate you with his fame, and is quiet. Tom Cruise goes from jerk to nice guy twenty times a minute. Tom Hanks still doesn't "get" fame, and hates being compared to Jimmy Stewart. Emma Stone is really paranoid, ridiculously so. Jennifer Lawrence is a complete bitch who believes we all owe her something. Charlie Sheen is actually just a lost little kid and just hit a bad patch.
And the one that gets most people: There is far more crossover with the porn industry than you'd expect.

Katy Perry the person is weirdly conservative, in odd ways. Katy Perry the image is who you're talking about which is a marketing entity to sell records (and is openly referred to as such).
Although, I was only involved in that briefly for her movie and my involvement was literally only a week. So you never know, maybe she was just having a weird week.
She made a real big show about making sure everyone knew Katy the person was not Katy the image. She mentioned that it's a character she inhabits and said stuff about her religious beliefs, and how she doesn't dress like that.. she just basically made a big to do about how it was imagery. There were a few specific things, but she pretty much said she's nothing like her public image.

I don't know anyone who likes Leno. Anyone. He may be great in public but he's an awful boss.
Cruise will offer you water, then ask why you expect him to get you water. Things like that.
Tom Hanks is often compare to Jimmy Stewart, and I'd google it if you don't believe me. He specifically asked for it not to be mentioned.
I've met Charlie twice - He's literally a weirdly lost person. He wants everyone to like him and doesn't quite get why they don't.

  38. After reading the stuff about Jlaw and Weinstein, I'm rooting for Jessica Chastain despite the rumors that Jessica threw a hissy fit about not winning the SAG award...maybe she also knows what a bitch JLaw is... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thanks Dont Rain, I just found it too. I don't know Reddit well but it's WAY down in the thread, at about 3000 comments or so.

  40. Well I posted a link to this post on one of today's blind items, so that may help. :)

  41. @Prada - Whoa, how did I miss this? I'm halfway through Silver Linings Playbook, and dear me, falling back in love with Brad Cooper, and still love Jennifer Lawrence. I refuse to believe Harvey is buying her Oscar - I've seen "Winter's Bone," "Hunger Games," and (most of) "Silver Linings Playbook" - she is a terrific actress. I've never seen anything with Chastain in it (that I can recall), but we're going to see Zero Dark Thirty soon, so I may change my mind as far as who is better.

    ReplyDelete
  42. @prolixe I've seen both movies and I can't say I was all that impressed with either of those actresses. I will say that I was more emotionally moved by SLP than I was by ZDT...I cried at the end of SLP, whereas I didn't at the end of ZDT even though I got the feeling I was "supposed to."

    ReplyDelete
  43. BTW, I was pretty amused by the description of Tom Cruise's schizo behavior. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  44. @Prada, DeNiro in SLP was great, too. He's a legend. By far my favorite role of his was "Meet the Parents". :)

I so want to hang out w/Cruise for an hour. Oh man. I saw a video on YouTube where a director was saying Cruise was so into his Mission Impossible role that he wanted to see if he could blend in as a regular person. He dressed up as a delivery guy and delivered packages, even sat down and had coffee/lunch with a guy and nobody recognized him. It was kind of funny, you could see him trying very hard not to be recognized.

Anyone who does what he did on that building in Dubai (his own stunts) either has balls of steel or a god complex!

  45. Great read Prada..I went to that site and never came to that party. And I read a lot of them too! Sad that JLaw thinks people owe her..Hate that!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Anonymous4:32 PM

I got caught up in that site this morning. There's some interesting antidotes but the excerpt Prada posted was the best scoop by far. I was surprised by the JLaw stuff too. There was another girl on there that posted she was friends with her and said she felt more like her assistant than friend.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thanks so much for digging that up, I really appreciate it!

I'd tend to believe what a crew member had to say about a celeb over what a fan or old friend did. I've always thought that the way a star treats the crew is the way the star really feels about things, and if they're a dick to the people who make them look good they're putting on a facade when fans and press gush about them being down to earth and sweet.

Magazines absolutely GUSH about JLaw, but she's a pretty good actress and she seems fairly intelligent so that means nothing. Anyone with half a brain can give a 'omg so refreshing and candid' interview.

I want to like her but I have this nagging feeling she is really a megabitch with a carefully constructed down to earth persona.
