The necklace that Julianne Moore is wearing was a wedding gift from Richard Burton to Elizabeth Taylor and is worth $6.1M. Somewhere, Lindsay Lohan has photos of that necklace and is cackling something about "my pretty," while plotting. Always plotting.

DeleteWith Julianne's coloring and all, I imagine that's probably what Linds could have looked like at J's age--INCREDIBLE--if she would have stayed with her Mean Girls face, and you know, not done the drugs.
ReplyDeleteAgree that dress is much to casual for 6.1 mill worth of diamonds and emeralds! I am a freak for jewels but that is just to much. The French made diamond look a likes called paste (I have no idea how to say it other than paste like puddy). They are gorgeous! A 43 karat necklace was 21,000. Needless fact sorry! :)
ReplyDeleteFun Elizabeth Taylor fact- Richard loved to buy her jewels with historic signifagance. I like that. One piece was all paste diamonds and she paid a boat load to have it re set with real diamonds. I think it was the pear drop diamond necklace. Sorry. I am lonely and bored!

ReplyDeleteI feel bad saying this, but it looks JUST like Mischa is sporting L'Oreal's new Feria 'Wild Ombre' drugstore haircolor.... The thing is, by the time such a trend hits the drugstore, that's not usually the moment an actress shows up with it. makes me think she IS poor and does her own box color at home ( like the rest of us mortals).

Btw, she was on 'Fashion Police' once, and I was so ready to hate her, but she was so dry and really kinda clever. I felt bad, if she can't get a job and the rumors are true.
Michelle Williams annoys me more than AnnE Hathaway. I could see playing Smack-a-Bitch with those two. And, I'm not a violent person, I swear! lol

I love Julianne Moore! Yes, the jewelry/outfit doesn’t go together but I’ll give her a pass. I hope she’s not a shrew in real life or something. I’ve seen her in a few interviews and she always seemed very classy, professional and unaffected by Tinseltown. I know that means nothing, but she never got fake boobies and for being 50+ with pale skin she looks fabulous. I think she lives in NYC with that cute younger hubby of hers, so that might explain why she’s not all stretched, pulled, pumped, orange and dried-out like an alligator purse.
ReplyDeleteI really hope that her career hasn’t peaked. I think Julianne could still win an Oscar. For a while it seemed like she and Kate Winslet were nominated for a million awards every year but they never got the gold guy until Kate finally won for The Reader. I think Hollywood has Julianne in limbo. She’s a great character actress but she’s not the hot romantic lead right now (and that’s okay). Maybe she’ll get the Meryl Streep/Diane Keaton roles in a few years? Hang on, Julianne! Nancy Meyers will write a great movie for you, girl. You’ll get the big O, you deserve it.

ReplyDeleteSaw the Oz commercial / preview, and I have to say, as pretty as I think Michelle Williams is (and I LOVE her haircut in these pix), and as beautiful as Mila is, when Rachel appears on screen, she out STUNS them both, she is so gorgeous...and so much more womanly v. Little girl. Love it. She doesn't look old or even older, just so much more of an actual woman verses a girl with extra makeup or not as much maturity (again, not age, just how she carries herself). No wonder she got herself a hot Bond ;)

Julianne Moore is the spokeswoman for Bulgari, so the necklace is on loan to her for the event. Bulgari bought some of Elizabeth Taylor's Jewels that they designed and they ate being put on display in their archives (I read an article about this the other day).

I tried to do my hair beach blonde and short back in 1995' al a the cranberries, I looked like a butch dike ( not that there's anything wrong with that ) that would kick your ass in a back alley I'm not delicate enough to pull it off.
It's time Enty.......we all know that Julianne Moore has and continues to undersell herself as an actress, and has been sequestered in parts where there is minimal exposure..and should someone think differently, there is a specific purpose.....peruse her catalogue........do tell what is the game change, if any?????

I saw Michelle tratchenberg on FP once and was surprised by how likable and witty she was based on all we have heard about her. But poor baby looks like she is following the Estella Warren aging plan.
