I always wish I had taken pictures when I was 160 pounds. I am very little and that was to much. I dropped 40 pounds by going paleo and running my dogs everyday. It is not easy. And not fun. But the difference is feeling like shit everyday and sluggish or feeling bright and ready to take on the day. Good for Chaz! He is lookin good.

DeleteI'm kind of dreading Winter's Tale. Definitely one of top 10 books, and it's great the CGI is now up to par for the magic here, but I dunno, not sure the vision will come close to Helprin's. (and mine) I can't see Colin in the role, or Russell Crowe as Pearly. And much as I love Jennifer Connelly (I think she's in it) she's much too old for the part.

Kloie, I agree. I would hate to see that little girl bogged down by her mothers hangups. I like Victoria Beckham, but I think she looks extremely unhealthy. I'm not saying she is anorexic, or anything like that. I could just picture her eating the bare minimum to go about her day.

OMG I hope Enty posts about Kelly Clarkson's rebuttal to Clive Davis' memoir. I am so glad she spoke up and told her side of the story. I trust she got some good advice and was reassured that she's got enough power in the industry to overcome any bridge-burning this may cause. I totally list respect for Clive after watching his interview on Whitney's greatest hits DVD. He talked about her like a "product"--I think he even said the word "product." I found it so very patronizing and at that moment I decided Clive was at least 50% to blame for Whitney's descent into drugs and self-destruction. You go, Kelly!!!

Congrats Chaz! Keep it up! I'm currently 10 lbs down, my goal is 40-50 to put me in normal weight range, so I know how hard it is, but worth it.

what is going paleo?
ReplyDeleteAnna- I may be to late. Paleolithic diet. It is eatting what our ancestors ate. We didn't start eatting grains and starchy vegetables for hundreds of years. So the concept is, wheat is super hard for our bellies to break down. So you eat basic foods and your body breaks them down much more simply. Once I started eatting right I WANTED to burn calories. You cut out almost everything besides Nuts, Fruit, Most vegetables except for starchy veggies like potatoes (sweet potatoes are find if you are working out and need carbs to burn), Fish and other meat. You are not suppoused to have milk so for a year I drank almond milk. Now I only have my one latte with 2% in the morning. If I eat ice cream in the evening my stomach gets angry. Chocolate is fine! As long as it is over 60% cocoa content. I am not super strict but I do pretty much live like that. I do love peanut m&m's and popcorn.

ReplyDeleteYeeeaah snapdragon! I just started juicing. Today I made Cashew Milk!!! Ducking delicious!!!! A little fresh vanilla bean, agave in the blender then you strain it. Ahh. Heaven. Soak the nuts overnight to open up their flavor and good biotins. I have had that a few days and I can see my blemish scars going away. Heaven!!
