Delete@me and @ethorne - yeah I noticed Sofia in Peggy Sue Got Married - mostly because she was all kinds of wrong for the role. In no way did she look like she could credibly be Peggy's biological sister...stuck out like a sore thumb. Can you say "nepotism.?" Not to mention that Nic Cage (Nepotism, Part 2) was also completely bizarro in his choices of how to act out his role. Also, Sofia looks like she has gotten the Jennifer Westfeldt cheek implant treatment. It doesn't look as obvious or bad, but it's still there....

LOVE me some Simon Baker. Try as I might, I don't find Charlize attractive. I'm not afraid of the girl crush, either, I just don't find her attractive. Hope she's not sick, though, that would not be good.

ReplyDeleteMeh at my local market it's the attendant's job to bring stuff out, I used to try to refuse but he said if his boss saw it he'd be fired. Also that cart is very loaded. Charlize cut her hair for a move, not chemo.
ReplyDeleteOh and love Sofia but darn she was just awful in the Godfather movie, ruined the whole movie. But she stepped in at the very last minute, Winona was supposed play the part and dropped out right before filming.
ReplyDeleteWinona dropped out, but I'm sure there were plenty of good actresses who were willing to take the part. Unfortunately, FFC was still trying use his name to get Sofia to make it as an actress (baaad move!). Thank god that didn't last long! She is a dreadful actress!!

DeleteSimon Baker is currently one of the highest paid actors on tv for The Mentalist, a great show which had been pulling pretty high ratings until this season. He keeps a pretty low public profile for a celeb which is why perhaps he's not as well known as his peers. An absolutely hot Aussie, very yummy.

ReplyDeleteI am going to go against the grain and say that I like Miley's outfit. I wouldn't wear it, and it's not for everyone, but, compared to what she has been wearing lately, it looks pretty good. At least she seems to have moved away from the scuzzy side boob, cutoffs with pockets hanging out and sloppy bra-exposing layers. If this is the alternative, I will definitely take this.
Miley's teefs still scare me. But I do love that skirt.

ReplyDeleteI recognize the store where the Charlize Theron pic was shot. It's the Whole Foods on San Vicente Blvd in Brentwood. Every time I shopped there I've seen famous people---that's why a pap might hang out to see who shows up. One time I was there I saw a group of 4-5 young women who were all fairly tall. My first thought was that they were basketball players or volleyball players from UCLA except these women had zero muscles. Then I had an a ha moment and realized that these freakishly tall and skinny women were from America's Next Top Model. I know--not that famous but my fav story.
As for the person helping Charlize to her car--it IS odd. Yes, it's not unusual for employees ask if you need help to your car at many grocery stores. That said, this particular parking lot is REALLY small that's why the cars are so close to the entrance--so CT is getting help to her car that's maybe 10 feet away. That's puzzling.
@WendyW - yeah but she does have a lot of bags to transfer to the car. ;) Thanks for the info on the location....very interesting! :)
