Nadya Suleman Has A Medical Marijuana Card

Goodness knows that if you have 14 kids and no job other than using your body to clean shiny metal poles in a club, then you might have some stress. Apparently just two days after Nadya got out of rehab for her Xanax addiction she got a medical marijuana card. Yeah, one addiction for the other. She has not given up booze either. According to TMZ, Nadya only uses pot in food form and only when the nannies are not present. You know, in other words, when she has no help. Presumably she boozes when solo too. You know that those kids are probably into those brownies or will be. I don;t see her locking them away and thinks the kids won't find her secret hiding spot. The thing is, if you take the kids away, they will all be split up.

    Big deal, Xanax is way more harmful (when abused) than marijuana. I have to not have Xanax because I pop them like candy and act like a drunk asshole. Weed doesn't do that.

    As someone who's done a lot with animal rescue I have no problem with the shirt. I just wonder if the irony is lost on her. I'm going to guess yes.

    She really shouldn't be smoking pot because she is an addict but out of all the drugs she could be taking pot is the least of them.

    All that being said I have NO sympathy for this woman. She made a TON of money from the birth of her litter. Yet it's all gone because she made some REALLY stupid financial decisions. Spending it on things like plastic surgery. She should have been putting that money towards her house payment & the army of nannies she needs to take care of all those kids. Universe knows she's not capable of taking care of that brood on her own.

    sifichick - let me clarify. I absolutely agree that people should spay, neuter, and adopt pets. I am an animal activist as well. That said - I believe we also have a massive overpopulation problem and the hypocrisy inherent in her wearing the shirt is not fucking cute. It's very offensive, especially to tax payers in California who are paying for her 14 children.

      Ha @Rangeman! My sis lives in TX and I live in OR. When I visited her last year, my TX-born and raised brother in law reminded me they don't allow pot in TX, I should leave it at home. He honestly thought medical mj program in OR meant you get it at Trader Joe's with your yoghurt and two-buck chuck.

    My only issue with her edibles is whether she is careful with how she stores them. I don't think it's addictive, but it's not something you want little kids to ingest either. And with how bad she is at keeping track of her kids, them getting a hold of a pot brownie and thinking it was just a normal brownie seems entirely probable.

    @Maximus I understand what you're saying & I agree to a degree BUT any publicity for the cause is good in my book.

    I do have a HUGE problem with her raping the tax payers so she can go & do things like have plastic surgery. She really should give those kids up. It's sad that they'd get split up but in the end it would be better off for them. The CA tax payers are already paying for those kids anyway. This would just remove her from making tax payer money from CA. Tricks like her are part of the reason the SSI is in the bad state it's in. They're saying my generation will be screwed out getting anything.

    I agree with helping people who actually need it. I don't agree with giving help to stupid people who have litters of children & decide to sit on their ass and let the public pay for them when they are fully able to work.

    from the couple of interviews I've seen with her, can't see the weed making much difference to her - as it is she appears to sleep walk through life, only waking up for her IVF shots!
    But I do find it ironic that she's wearing that shirt... I'm sure the people who put it out, really didn't want this bit of publicity.

    To all the haters. She's wearing that shirt as contrition. She is the penultimate example of wreck less procreation and she was approached by that org after she birthed out her octets both as a means to spread awareness and to own up to her mistakes.
    She doesn't need your derision, she faces her karma everyday. Just can't hate on her. There are fathers who have multiple children who don't hustle half as much. I can't believe so many people are bitter about this woman who is obviously mentally ill. Walk in her shoes, maybe you wouldn't be so quick to judge. Or maybe you would. Either way, it's a waste of time.

    Gypsy, as much as I would like to hate on someone who has shown such monumentally poor judgement in life, I cannot disagree with anything you wrote.

    And take the kids away? To what? Separation and a childhood in the foster care system? That's better? They aren't all cute little babies anymore...With thousands upon thousands in the state system, the chances of any one of them getting adopted is not very high.

    It is possible to become addicted to any drug. Also, people with mental illnesses can have that exacerbated by taking drugs, both legal (alcohol) & illegal. There are 14 children who deserve to have sober, responsible people taking care of them. I wish the children ad been removed at birth.

    We're not looking at the possiblities here. She could be using the card to buy large amounts of marijuana and selling it. At some point she could get caught and CPS will remove her children from the home because she's now a drug dealer.

    BTW, thats an old photo. When she first became famous *eyeroll*, PETA paid her a large sum of money to wear that shirt and have a sign out in front of her house about animal adoption.

    Psychological addiction can be just as harmful as physical addiction. I think for certain people, marijuana is not a good idea.

    It can be prescribed for nightmares, headaches, stress... I think it's pretty darned close to being sold at Trader Joe's.

    Mooshki- where do live? Why would you think MJ would be avaliable at trader joes, just like prolixes brother? No. WA fully legalized and it still won't be avaliable to adults 21 and over, in special stores you have to get a license to own and operate.

    Medical MJ stores should still be open to just medical patients.

    This woman does not need weed. That is the last thing she needs. Same with other substances. You have a LIFE problem lady, not something you can cure with drugs.

    I'm for legalizing it, but let's be honest here. It's a drug. If used irresponsibly, it can cause harm. Does she strike you as the responsible type? It doesn't matter that alcohol is worse for you. You shouldn't be getting high, getting drunk, or popping pills alone in a house filled with small children.

    I live in California, and I have a medical marijuana card. It cost me $100. Pot DOES really and truly help with cramps, back pain, depression, anxiety, etc. The dispensaries are very professional, there are security guards, cameras, everyone is very adult, mature, and it's just a little more money that you would pay on the street, but wayyyyy wayyyyy wayyy more potent. With Washington, Oregon and Cali legalizing it I don't think it will be all THAT long before it gets around the rest of the states. Twenty years and it should be legal everywhere, hopefully more like ten years. It's silly to have it be illegal. And no, I don't think it's addictive. I've quit a few times for years, and it does help with actual medical issues, plus I like how it makes me feel. I really don't see what the big deal is, don't do it when you're at work, or caring for your kids, or driving, but otherwise, who cares?!

    I'm not saying it's right but if she has the card, it's not illegal, and drinking is not illegal.

    If she is not abusing the kids (which this post doesn't say) then she is allowed to do it.

    I'd rather see her doing the marijuana because of how hyper she is --maybe it would mellow her out a bit--than drink.

    I hope somehow that she is not doing wrong by those poor kids--they have enough problems already from the way they are being dragged up. There is just really no good solution to this problem short of someone taking all of them and who has the resources to do that?

    I adopt. I also get animals from breeders (legitimate, registered breeders) for various reasons. When she brings home a 10-year-old cat from a shelter, pays $600 the next day to get her rotten teeth pulled and forks out over $30 a bag for her food then she can judge me for buying some animals from a breeder.
