There is a
great story in a Brazilian newspaper about Megan Fox and the way she behaved during Carnival in Rio. She was paid a ton of money to appear at events for Carnival. More money just to show up than most of us will ever make in a lifetime. That event was in front of huge crowds and everything was fine because she was getting paid. Later on her visit she was headed to a restaurant and there were big crowds in the streets and she thought they would recognize her so she hid all the way on the floor of the car and started crying and screaming. No one had noticed her and no one would have cared. When she got to the restaurant, there were paps there. They were there because there were a lot of celebrities in town and most usually go to this place at one point or another. Megan saw them and thought that they were all there to see her (which they weren't) and ordered the driver to turn around and went back to the hotel. (Thanks Luciana)

ReplyDeleteWowww. That is sad. She's always been pretty delusional though. Does anyone remember the deep thoughts by Megan series of interviews that she used to give? She's in her own little world. Plus BAG probably keeps her in her own little world and spoon feeds her lies. You're such a huge star, we should hold out for more money, we should sell our baby pics, etc. Plus the abuse has to be getting to her and making her a little crazy. I, thankfully, am on my way out the door. Less than a week guys, less than a week.

Enty's supposedly got lots of inside, close to the source, sources for lack of a better word. People like "friends" , assistants, family members, employees, people that have inside dirt and want to tell it to a safe outlet for whatever personal motive they have. Enty can't reveal his sources, no one would ever trust him again, the back stabbers would be known to their meal tickets and the site would most likely shut down. Part of that protection of his sources, is also protecting Enty. Don't hold your breath ABlake.
ReplyDeleteok to be fair, the article for those of you who can't read portuguese, mentions that Megan also suffers from agoraphobia. Yes, she knew what she was getting into when she became an actress and wanted to be famous yada, yada, yada, BUT, if this was her first trip to Rio for Carnaval, she was in for a major surprise. The crowds are nothinig like what you imagine. The crowds are super thick. People are shoulder to shoulder for long periods of time. These crowds can stretch out as far and wide as the streets are. Rio Carnival is nothing like New Orleans Mardi Gras that you have seen on TV, this is the mother of all carnivals. The entire city is one big party and it's a street party. It's can cause anyone anxiety, including myself too, when I've gone.

ReplyDeleteI live here. I speak Portuguese and more Enty snarky bullshite. Unless you are here you have no idea of the crowds. Saturdays street parade through downtown had over 2 million marchers. On a street maybe a mile in length. Ditto in Ipanema on Tuesday. Right next door to the Leblon neighborhood where they were planning to dine.

Cocaine, amphetamines and caffeine (more than 400MG of caffeine) can cause panic disorders, coded as Substance-Related on evaluation forms. You would have to detox her for a few weeks before you could properly say she has actual problems with anxiety or panic. And, well, that's not going to happen.

ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone deserves BAG except the Charlie Sheens, Chris Browns, Naomi Campbells, Mike Tysons etc of the world. Abusers should be with other abusers so they get a taste of their own medicine. If they wind up throttling each other in the process so much the better.
I feel for Megan if she is agoraphobic, it's a terrible phobia to suffer from. Having said that, my fear of crowds was something I factored in when I was choosing between pursuing acting and pursing university, so my sympathy is kind of limited. Success in acting pretty much means being famous, which means being mobbed, having no privacy, having the paps hound you and so forth. It's not a tricky concept to grasp.
BAG probably made her attend so he could confiscate the paycheck. Jerk.

What happens is that Brazil's main tv channel (Globo) is in Rio and all Brazilian celebrities who like publicity are in places like Sushi Leblon and Fasano. Every time there's someone from Hollywood here they take them to the same places. Paps live there. Regardless if Megan Fox is in town or not.
