Maya Rudolph Is Pregnant

Just when you thought that the drama associated with the show Up All Night could not get any crazier, Maya Rudolph has confirmed that she is pregnant with her fourth child with director Paul Thomas Anderson. Producers of the show had planned on incorporating her pregnancy into the show, but now with CBS really trying to get Will Arnett for a show it might be time to admit that if you are a fan of Up All Night that it might just disappear, thereby extending the curse of Will and Christina Applegate to ever replicate their original television success.

    Yeah, they need to just let it go. There will be other tv shows.

    Congratulations to Maya, she was such a great part of SNL. Ever since she left and Cherie Oterie, the Supastah-armpit lady, Will Ferrell, and Jimmy Fallon left it's been pretty much downhill, oh forgot to mention Amy Poehler, and Rachel Dratch! Love all of them.

    Again!? That woman is about the most beautiful, talented breeder mama in the universe. Why that man hasn't gotten down on a knee with a ring, I don't know. Unless that's what she wants. If Maya was on the open market, I'd put a forearm shiver on PT Anderson that would make his ass bleed for decades, trying to get to her hand.

    As for Up All Night ... I tried, I really did. But I just couldn't get into the show. The clips that were shown on the previews were hilarious but once I actually sat down to watch I was bored.

    So happy for Maya. She's one of my favorite celebrities - really super talented. I remember years ago when the singer Minnie Riperton passed away so young, leaving young children. I didn't realize until much later that Maya was her daughter.

    Anna - So true. This past Saturday, my husband said to me, "I can't believe SNL is still on."

    As I've said in previous posts, I was a big fan of Up all Night last season. This season is a disaster. Maya Rudolph is fabulous, and I think she should have her own show. She was one of the best parts of Up all Night.

    I think this show should just call it a day.

    Congrats to Maya! I had no idea she was with Paul Thomas Anderson. They should give her her own show - Tina & Amy both proved SNL funny ladies can pull it off. I adore 30 Rock - Alec may be a tool, but Jack is awesome.

    I always wonder if Fiona Apple's "Window" is about Maya and PTA....but hell, they have been together a long time and have had many babies, so obviously it was the right move for PTA.

    ^^^and I was just going to ask if this is the same guy who dated fiona apple.

    I've always wondered if MR didn't and doesn't marry this man of her's b/c like her character in that one flick (where she was pregnant, and her and her boo travel all around searching for where they should make their home...I forget the name), wouldn't marry her love b/c her parent or parent's had passed on and thus wouldn't be there. Anyone know?

    I just discovered Maya in "Up All Night." I know. I know. Everyone else already knew how great she is. Congratulations to them on the baby and I'll miss the show. I liked it in the original version & didn't get why they wanted to change it. Guess we know why "Cougar Town" didn't change the name even though it's a lame name.

    Rudolph had a baby at about the same time as Tina Fey's last one (they did a terrific song on SNL about how being pregnant proved they are "getting some"), so that kid must be at least 2 years old now.

    I think they're trying for a boy for some reason. Anyway, good luck to them both.

    I think Maya's most recent baby is not yet 2? She had him soon after doing the huge press junket for Bridesmaids so like summer of 2011? Anyway, their kids are precious and they are both super duper talented so I wish them the best! She seems like such a great mama, too.
