Wow. I will finish it later but shit man. That kid is really smart when he calms down and just speaks. At the beginning how he says "we all have made mistakes but you are still good" and then near the middle he starts to make sense again. He saved that woman's life.
I love this video. SOOOOOO glad they released this uncensored video, and not just the clips of the news reports. I've already seen gifs of the Smash Smash SUH MASH part.
If he's really from Sofia, WV, I wonder if he was shunned by a clan of meth-billies.
They covered this on our local news last night (I guess because it happened in California?) but they bleeped out the Fbombs of course and cut out the beginning where he talks about 14-year-old and it was still pretty hilarious.
I love this kid so much. I read that he is actually from Canada and was shuffled in-between foster homes all his life. :( He's not really what I'd call homeless, though. More of a free spirit.
I love this guy. I actually showed this to my college "English literature for science students" class this am in contrast to the girl that flipped off the judge. If Kai is really from Canada, then I want him to come to Montreal and speak to my class. He is a hero, despite all his f-bombs. He saved people today and he is a hero to women too!
You can actually see the intelligence behind all the "like" "f%$%" "dude". And he definitely wants to take action when he sees evil happening. I loved that he wanted to get out his message at the beginning. That seemed more important to him than the rest of the story, lol.
As an aside, he reminded me a LOT of my high school sweetheart. Looks wise, mostly, but also somewhat his personality. :) (it isn't him, though) :)
Wow. Only just around to watching it but damnit if it doesn't make my cold dead heart beat a little warmer.
I had the sads when he said at the end that as far as people he knew growing up knows, he's dead. They should celebrate the connection they have with him.
Sophia, WV is less than an hour from where I live. You might be surprised to know that Kai's actions to help are pretty much what you might experience from many locals here. But he was brave nonetheless and I hope he gets loads of good karma. It is sad that he is out there going at it alone. And plenty of people would be carrying a hatchet as a tool, not a weapon.
There is no delay long enough to bleep all those fbombs! Kia... Straight out of Dogtown. "I can't call it".
ReplyDelete...and I want 1/2 of what he is on!
ReplyDeleteFunniest thing I've seen in a while!
ReplyDeleteI love the first part. Kai is my hero!
ReplyDeleteAnyone interested should check out how Colbert covered this story last night.

ReplyDelete@libby, that's where I saw it first
DeleteHe must be the Son of "Randy of the Redwoods" from MTV.

ReplyDeleteSome faith in humanity restored, but what's he doing with a hatchet???
ReplyDeleteOh and Kai if you're reading I have an extra mini mal! Wrong coast though :(
ReplyDeleteWhy would be have a hatchet? When we go hiking or camping we bring one. :) dog town style.
ReplyDeleteBest. Interview. Ever!
ReplyDeleteSomeone's missing out on having this great kid.
ReplyDeleteWhat is dog town? I got more out of this clip than that, but I'm stuck on that part. And the PO-licy makers. Awesome.

ReplyDeleteThis is what I thought he was talking about when he said Dogtown. I watched it when I was a wee lass.
@Smash, that's vaguely familiar, thanks for posting that!

ReplyDeleteCue the hilarious autotune inspired by this interview in 5...4...3...2...
ReplyDeleteLOL Kai SMASH
ReplyDeleteI think it would be a great reality show to star Kai and the "Ain't nobody got time for that" woman.

I wonder if people will be coming out of the woodwork with "I know KAI" stories. Should be interesting, but I doubt he even has his own fb page. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI think this is fake...
