Instagram Threatened Madonna With A Shutdown Of Her Account
In the month or so that Madonna has been on Instagram, the viewing public has been treated to a steady stream of Madonna cleavage shots and of her butt while on stage. Apparently in the world of Instagram, something like that is too risque. Madonna posted the letter she received from the site. As much as I am not in need of Madonna showing off her sweaty cleavage, there is so much worse on half the Instagram accounts that this must be a daily occurrence for people and I wonder if Instagram actually shuts anyone down.
Gee more publicity from the publicity mongering old hoe herself, yawwwwnnnnn
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't she just get on Tumblr? Plenty of nudity there :)
ReplyDeleteOr Grindr! Lol
Delete@VIP, did you see the article on GOMI about the guy running a Tumblr site featuring 6-13 yo boys? The guy was 19, admitted he was attracted to boys, and said the purpose of the Tumblr was for him & guys like him to get off w/o actually hurting a boy. And that he didn't know the boys, just the one who was his nephew. 20 pages.
Deleteo_O
Tumblr did shut him down after the gomis lost their sh* & went on email rampage.
Hahahaha they officially told her memaw ass to take a seat.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I wonder if she wrote this letter to herself! She's SO old news, she needs to accept it and gracefully move on. Like Cher and Babs did.
ReplyDeleteLike when Cher had her son in the video for 'Turn Back Time'??
DeleteI should say that I love Cher and I don't think there was anything wrong with that video, but lets not pretend she's a paragon of virtue either.
DeleteMadonna gets gulf for posting workout photos.
That picture is so fucking nasty. I'd rather see her ass.
ReplyDeleteOh, they do shut people down. I know a girl who works from home as one of those, er, vidcam girls. Naturally, she uses her Instagram and Twitter to advertise the goods. They've shut her down twice already.
ReplyDeleteWe saw your boobs!
ReplyDelete@FSP - that avi is spectacular.
DeleteThanks Lucas.
DeleteMaybe they were just trying to help her stop embarrassing her kids. She needs to stop already.
ReplyDeleteOver cleavage? o_o
ReplyDeleteNorman Mailer asked her "why no vagina?" during the 90s, when she was promoting her SEX book and doing all kinds of weird foolishness. She didn't really have a good answer. I fear that someday the world will be treated to the octagenarian Temple of Holies. Maybe she's waiting for 3-D printing technology to be perfected, so that people can print up a three-dimensional representation of her cooch in all its glory.
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing is, she used to be an interesting person.
@Barton, I miss interesting Madonna, she's been gone for a while.
DeleteI didn't realise working out and getting sweaty was illegal and/or offensive.
ReplyDeleteHow many people post pics of themselves doing drugs??
I know people will be all 'disgusted' by a 50+ woman working out and looking after herself but its not offensive.
She's a nasty old madam!
ReplyDelete@Its, I think it's fantastic she takes care of herself. But I don't need to see it, any more than I need to see Tom Cruise's man boobs.
ReplyDeleteMadge (and Tom) should take a tip from the Marlene Dietrich school of glamorous dressing as you age - slim silhouette, lots of sparkles, long sleeves, long skirts, high heels. She looked sexy and fabulous.
Usually I'm all over celeb perv shots, but I'm not into granny porn, so I agree with Instagram here.
ReplyDeleteHow does Rhianna still have an open account if this is the case? The only one of those guidelines she isn't guilty of is posting other people's pictures.
ReplyDeleteI do feel they're picking on her because of her age. Regardless of her being a woman of a certain age that should market with decorum, being a mother of children that have to deal with the probable backlash from their peers and her looking like a parched attention whore, Instagram is being ageist in this case. We only see cleavage but no nipples. LAME.
ReplyDeleteSome people are creeped out by clowns. I am creeped out by chin implants. Shut that Instagram down, dammit
ReplyDeleteI second It's Just U: this reeks of ageism. Cher continued pushing the envelope into her 60s. I wouldn't want to be Madonna's child, but I'm sure they'll get over it.
ReplyDeletehey, this s is who she is. Everyone knows she cant get enough attention ever. I guess eventually we will see her bowel movements, lol if you dont like it, dont look at it. Problem solved. how embarassing for her children i would think.
ReplyDeleteWell someone should fine Michael lohan's ass for that pic with the black mesh shirt on. Now THAT was offensive!
ReplyDeleteRight on @itsjustu!
;^)
I just checked out her Instagram... my guess is that the issue is she posted two pix of photos of Frida Kahlo. You can't post photos of other photos. There's much more skin shown on Instagram than what she's posted.
ReplyDeleteAnd, btw, she hasn't taken the Kahlo pix down yet.
This pic is just pathetic and attention-ho-ish. Doesn't put her in a good light so I'm not sure what she's trying to accomplish.
ReplyDeleteWhy does she look like she has drool all over her chin? That's offensive. Wipe yourself.
ReplyDeleteIf only humanity could send her a letter asking her to go away...
ReplyDeleteSo let me understand this.. Facebook bought Instagram and announced that all your photos will belong to them but YOU can't post someone else's photos?
ReplyDeleteFuck Instagram. If I were her I would just shut down the account anyway. And frankly her kid must be horrified that mom is always posting her cleavage. Nothing wrong with Madonna's body but at some point you have to think of how this affects your children.
Apparently she posted a nude photo (boobs only) which was a photo of another photo not by her, but Man Ray (there goes another rule).
ReplyDeleteThis was the photo.
Sorry, here´s the link:

Yeah, I was going to say, it looks like the violation was sharing photos that aren't hers -- or that Instagram might even be questioning whether the account holder really is Madonna sharing her own photos in the first place.
