Britney Spears On Dating Sites

According to the National Enquirer, Britney Spears is searching for a new guy already and is doing so on online dating sites. Apparently she has limited it to some e-mails and some flirting but I find it very hard to believe that she is even allowed online and there is no way anyone around her is going to let her talk to strangers. They just aren't. Everyone Britney sees or talks to is planned out in advance. The only surprise person in Britney's life is whatever barista she runs into at Starbucks. The only decisions Britney is allowed to make are what drinks she orders and what she can wear. That all being said, I wonder what a Britney Spears dating profile would say. Judging from the photo above, you would probably not want to cheat on her.

    You know, all of the stories of her confinement and total control are, for the most part, guesses and conjecture. For all we know, Britney is living her life exactly as she chooses...including letting everyone believe she has no say in her life. If something goes wrong...not her fault. Fashion disaster...not her fault. Horrible music/lip synching/concert/performance...not her fault. I realize she has a court ordered conservatorship, but she requested it continue when it was last updated for review.

    Life is much easier when responsibility falls on someone else.

    (And I say all of this as someone who quite likes Britney.)

      I agree, it's sad for me to see. I've dealt with mental illness for a long time and I would hate to have all of it in photographs, videos, etc. This makes me so sad for her...

    I really like Britney and wish her well, but it seems a little early to be on dating sites. On the other hand, she doesn't seem terribly upset about the breakup. She's sort of acting like someone who just got out of jail. Living it up!

    Yeah maybe she was happy to get the hell away from Jason. That said I am quite skeptical she's using online dating. But I would guess it's hard to meet someone good, whom you could trust that loved you for you when you're at that level of celebrity. I hope Brit Brit finds someone who really loves her and takes care of her and the boys.

    Yesterday I saw about 10 minutes of Britney in concert from 2011 on one of the cable movie channels.

    It was just awful. She was kind of walking around the stage --she looked like she was in a trance--every few feet she would synch up with the dancers around her who were doing the choreography.

    I never thought she was a great singer but she had a huge energy and spirit in her early songs.

    I thought during that lawsuit last year it was revealed that she has little or no access to internet--that she is "protected" from it at home.

    I agree with Lola. We really don't know at this point what's going on anymore. Nor should we.

    However, I also feel they should just set this *itch free. Let her live of her money, let well-fed get a job, give her primary custody of the kids (then she won't have to support well-fed either), and let her move back home to LA, where her style screams, that it's there she wants to be.

    Besides, I cannot imagine doing th4e same thing now, that I was doing in my teens. Time to move on.

    :( aww, i get sad seeing that photo. poor brit-brit. child stars have a hard road. i imagine that she would like to have a real relationship, seems like that is what she wanted all along. even her first (72 hour) husband, said she just wanted to "be married".

    I think the picture should stand. It tells the unvarnished truth. It ain't pretty, but it's real. Now Britney Spears is just a manufactured product.
