Britney Spears Femme Fatale Album Sung By Myah Marie

Star has been busy this week. Well, they don't have a website, so all the reporters can focus on reporting for the magazine which must be kind of nice for them. Anyway, in the issue, they interview a man named Murray Langston. He is the father of Myah Marie (above) and he says, “My daughter sings for Britney Spears. The truth is, Myah can sound just like her. She has a knack.” He went on to say that the album Femme Fatale was almost exclusive sung by his daughter and she was paid just $1,000 for each of the seven songs she sung. I'm assuming it was her vocal tracks that would have been used for concert performances of the songs too. Very interesting.

      PLUS, in one of the past hints, Enty says a certain friend of his was being guessed as MV and she was really upset about it, and he said people should stop guessing her. He, as well as the comments in that post, made it pretty clear the friend was Britney.

    I'm still on the 6 with JLo as MV, though Whitney did have a "shadow voice" in later years, and Paula Abdul had a singer whose voice was "blended" with hers on some recordings. I don't think it's that uncommon really especially with everyone singing to backing tracks now.

    I agree with all of you who say that Britney isn't known for her voice anyway so she does as good a job singing as she needs to.

    Blackout was actually her most critically acclaimed album, it just didn't do so well. Crazy Britney was too much for the public to handle.

    I think enty is trying to keep us guessing about the MV identity by throwing us little remarks about JLo & Britney so that it's not totally obvious which one of the two it is.

    I atill think MV could be Beyonce. Now she sings live but I remember a blind about a singer who had a slight nose job but it dramatically altered her voice. Beyonce has definitely had a slight nose job which would open the nasal passages. And constant training on her newish voice would allow her to sing well now.

    So it looks like this Myah Marie chick has a back up vocal credit on "Circus" and so does Cathy Dennis. I had to look Cathy Dennis up, and I had always thought her song "Too Many Walls" was Debbie Gibson. Fail. Interesting how much of today's pop is actually written by her.

    With all the computer manipulation these days, anyone could sound like Britney.

    In her recent autobiography, Cyndi Lauper's Memior she compliments Britney's voice and ability to sing but says that because of what producers do to create her sound for records, that she can't sing it live - "NO ONE COULD!"

      I remember I came across an old Disney show with Brit, Christina and the gang. Britney had a solo acappella ballad to sing.she was WONDERFUL! Not anything that she sound like now. I always wondered what happened. I started to look at old Diz shows and Brit was a good singer, she held her own against powerhouse Christina. She was very young and I believe if she had a chance to develop THAT voice, she could have been a GREAT singer.
      But as her handlers and managers were trying to mold her into 'brand' and found her schtick. I think that Britney got pushed so far back. Britney was only 16 when she broke out and back then her mom was more in the picture, Momanging her..
      I think this is part of the reason B is the way she is. Music execs and managers and Brand makers have sucked all of the life out of the real person.Remember, Britney was in several Broadway productions when she was young, and she left New York because she thoughtshe got the biggest opprotunity, the Dizne show.
      I wish she could have an album in which she had a lot more creative control. She can sing. I have heard it.

    No...there was a similar BV, but it's not Brit Brit. She was ruled out with all the guesses. The girl who sang for MV passed away and MV apparently will never put out another album ever again and stopped singing after being known world wide.

    MV is also supposed to have one hell of a voice. So that again rules out Brit Brit. She's a good performer but her voice isn't what I'd call amazing.

    All along I've thought MV was Whitney Houston. All those drugs had to have ruined her voice. Supposedly she was using before she even met Bobby. He just helped make her addiction worse.

    I'm not necessarily sure I believe this is MV (I've always leaned more toward JLo), but I am surprised. I always got the vibe Enty would never reveal MV, and this is shockingly close to a reveal. So he's either not-revealing-revealing, making us rethink our guesses, or trolling. How do you all vote?

      My vote is that an MV situation is far more common than the general pub is aware of, and that this is situation that mirrors MV's in lots of ways. I believe MV is/was far more surprising than Brit or JLo, someone like Whitney who was talented but lost a lot of her abilities due to drugs and bad health. I think Enty is enjoying seeing the curtain pulled back on other performers. Performers are not necessarily talented singers.

    I don't think this is an MV reveal per say, but it could be that this woman has taken over for the original MV singer. I don't think the original singer was trying to sound like anyone. The father say she is good at "sounding like" Britney.

    There was a girl on American Idol years ago that did a perfect Britney voice. She didn't make it through Hollywood cause that's all she could do, lol. Just a little memory of mine!
    About JLo. If MV stopped singing it can't be her. She had several hit songs last year. And they were no masterpieces of vocal talent.

I've been reading this site for years and just recently began posting and its apparent that the commenters on this site are nothing but an exclusive clique of bullies who lash out at anyone who has a different or unpopular opinion. It also bothers me when someone asks about enty and you all flip out in a mean and harsh way. Not everyone reads this site 24/7/365 and some people may genuinely be curious.     Britney's singing voice sounds exactly like her talking voice just auto-tuned all to hell.

    I always figured that MV (JLo imo) is now able to put out more albums because of advances in autotuning technology, they can now make her sound like she can sing. JLo's new stuff is WAY more auto-tuned than her old stuff, there's a big difference.

    That being said, Britney's new music is also way more autotuned, so... I don't know, but I always figured Brit Brit could be ruled out because she was singing from a very young age so there's no way that you could say she can't actually sing (or at least couldn't at the time the MV thing started - she wasn't so drugged up then).

    If you said that MV was starting NOW and it was Britney, I could believe that since I think she's ruined her voice. Maybe this girl is now singing for Britney and her people learned that trick from the original MV.

    So, another singer subbed for Britney when she released an album in the middle of a meltdown? Big surprise.... not !

    I still think that they used Britney's voice for most of her actual recordings. The stuff is very heavily processed anyway, so it's more of a studio creation than a vocal performance. If Britney couldn't sing from the very beginning, the label could have used an unknown good-looking teenager with an okay voice and Hit Me Baby One More Time would have been a monster hit anyway.

    Jennifer Lopez is also my guess for MV. She has zero talent as a singer, and her whole musical career was based on her name and the wet T-shirts in her videos. Her career embodies everything that's wrong with the music industry.

    Nor is it Shania Twain..she was singing in cheesy musical theatre when she was in her early twenties. Twain's parents would take her to bars when she was 11 or 12 to sing..after hours of course. Her first album was released prior to meeting Mutt, my mother saw her on stage years ago when she was just out of her teens..she can sing..

    I think MV is Shamia Twain. Whitney should have stopped singing, her voice was destroyed & she was vilified in Australia for performing sub-par when she made her 'comeback'. Clive Davis pushed her to do that, more concerned with money than legacy.

    I'll post again who I believe MV is:

    Since we want to touch base on the MV topic again, here are my reasons on why I feel it is Mary J. Blige based on the majority of the clues Enty has given and other observations/facts:

    1. Mary Jane Blige = 13 Letters
    2. Hyphenated nickname = Queen of hip-hop soul (Sean Combs originally nicknamed Blige the "Queen of Ghetto Love". However, Andre Harrell, Combs's supervisor, found the name unsatisfactory and subsequently dubbed her the "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul")
    3. As for the man who stopped paying 'S'. Her manager was Kendu Isaacs in 2000. If he recruited S, she (or very few) would not have known who he was. As opposed to Diddy (who might be another consideration for the man who stopped paying S) who most would have known who he was in that time.
    4. She is American
    5. She was married to Martin Kendu Isaacs from 2003-2011
    6. She is as loyal as a real mother to her 3 step-children to this day!
    7. She has sold millions of CD's and has had hundreds of concerts all over the world.
    8. She has a song named "MJB da MVP". Could be Enty left off the 'P' on MVP so not to make the connection so obvious or it could just be a far reach on my part.
    9. At some point in the questionable timeline it was said she had, "personal/professional issues (was thinking about doing an indepth interview)". Though this could apply to anyone, it could defiently apply to MJB.
    10. One big clue was that her second album did better than her first. MJB's second album 'My Life' did far better than her debut album 'What's the 411?'.
    11. MJB had the No More Drama tour in 2002. Significant if this timeline is correct: S was recruited in late 2000, recorded for several weeks, MONTHS later she heard song on the radio. About 9 months after she met the guy who approached and gave her money she was asked to record again for a tour. This means MV was touring sometime in late 2001 or early 2002.
    12. MV has fooled everyone for over 10 years, winning awards and making millions. MJB has been around long enough to fit this clue.
    13. I think her look, style and early choreography are part of the "illusion". No different than JLo or Britney.
    14. Within 12 months before 11/10/11's MV clue, she had CD singles off her album My Life II...The Journey Continues.
    15. If it were MJB, it would rock the industry to its core!
    16. Has anyone ever wondered why Enty would say, "If anything should happen to him" about MV? As if he knows his life is threatened if it got out? MJB is all about the ghetto, gansta, hood, etc. She hangs out with the likes of P. Diddy, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, The Game, (Notorious B.I.G.), (Tupac), etc. It's all about taking someone out if they are crossed. Would anyone want to take that risk?
    Who in their right mind would really talk to the media about the truth behind this (if it were MJB) without feeling threatened for their life?

    I don't know if it means anything, but I noticed my last MV post where I outlined the same info above does not show up in the CDAN search. I don't know if it was removed for some reason. Just found that interesting.

      I saw a taping of the voice recently where she sang with Blake Shelton. She was definitely singing and was AMAZING!! Her or Blake would mess up so they'd stop and start over and there was no doubt in my mind that either of those two could sing...they were fantastic

    Speaking of Cyndi Lauper, a few years back, when Brit had a case of the crazies, Cyndi invited her to go on tour with her and a bunch of other female artists, the stipulation being that she had to sing live. Supposedly, Britney wanted to do it only if she could lip synch.

      @Joyce-lol, I'm just thinking of all the things I've seen that I'm pretty sure she was really singing, just her voice, no music at all. If she is MV, that would blow people away bc no one has ever doubted her talent, I just don't think it's her.

    Britney had a solo acappella ballad to sing.she was WONDERFUL! Not anything that she sound like now. I always wondered what happened.

    @ lc - Well for starters, she smokes like a ham. She's always photographed with a pack of cigs in her hand. Not good for the vocal cords. And I don't think she's ever been encouraged to take singing lessons. Her voice is thin and reedy.

    I don't get these singers who smoke and drink and abuse their instrument like that. Miley is another one who sounds like a raspy 50 year old. I think Adele smokes heavily, too.

    I would love MV to be JHo just for the fact that her world would crumble around her. She has not done a live concert in years. But you are all right, her singing voice sucks. If you listen to albums of hers it is very distinct the overlay. Why hasn't she done another album? Because S isn't around to save her ass.

    I only loved the Nicki Minaj remix of Til The World Ends. Actually I can't remember if I have listened to Femme Fatale all the way through, I probably have but it was probably so average I can't remember.

    So JLo is MV but Britney does the same thing? I guess it's not surprising that JLo isn't the only one - stick with a successful formula.

    Iv said it before n I'll say it again MARY J BLIGE IS NOT M.V. There is no way. Iv seen her live.right up close an all. There is no way she couldve faked that Not a chance. I can't tell u who it is but no way it's MJB. I can't do any links either :/ but she does a couple songs on jayZ unplugged . Watch it. U can't fake that. Iv also seen xtina perform in the same place, wasn't as near to her to see her lips ect. But her acapellas were amazing as they always are when you see her live on tv..     MV's name has 13 letters remember? So no MJB or Xtina - I'm surprised anyone thinks it could be them anyway, we've all heard them live. While booze and possibly drugs have changed Xtina's voice so it's nowhere near as good as it used to be it is still undeniably her voice - she sing-ad libs on The Voice A LOT.

    I think this entry is proof that MV is NOT Britney. Honestly, it isn't shocking to anybody, whether a Britney fan or not, that she might have had somebody sing for her or that she lip syncs. MV is supposed to shock us all and blow the lid off of the music industry. Britney having somebody sing for her? Meh.

    I was in the second row at Christina's SNL live performance of "Beautiful". The girl can totally sing. It was a dream come true to get those tickets, but the goosebumos I got from her singing that song were the highlight of that night.

    I have actually been in studio when Brit recorded vocals for womanizer and end of the world so no...that girl sang back up on tracks - Like Madonna using Nikki Harris to "punch up" her vocals. No one accused Nikki of singing Madonna's vocals.

    @Agent**It - Thank you my friend for posting a link to my previous post BUT I pasted and copied that posting into this posting. I can see how it appears as if I was referring to the Britney Scream post as the one I couldn't find, but I was actually referring to one from about 2 months ago.

    It seems we are on different paths regarding our opinions on who MV is. :) You really think it's Jlo huh? I thought she was eliminated because the timeline or release of CD's doesn't fit her. I have to agree though, she comes darn close! I've said before that if this could be proven, the Latin media in particular would go nuts! She is idolized in the Latin community and can do no wrong. The link you posted about Ashanti is VERY interesting and makes for a stronger case that it may be her!

    Have you noticed the reaction I've been getting from my Mary J. Blige guess? The majority have said they would shit if it was MJB...which is the point, isn't it? It would rock the industry to the core. Others on this post have said that if they were MJB they would be insulted to be considered MV. Again, isn't that how the real MV would expect us to feel? And why wouldn't Jlo, Britney, Christina and all the other guesses be insulted just the same?

    Also, I want to point out again to those that said MJB's name doesn't fit the clue...umm, Mary Jane Blige = 13 letters in her name. She uses her middle name. She is known as Mary J. Blige, not Mary Blige.

    I decided to look into her because I will never forget how I felt when she collaborated with U2 on the song ONE. It was torture to hear her sing that song. I remember thinking at the time, "What was Bono thinking doing a duet with her?" That pairing totally ruined the song for me! And U2 is my favorite band! Then I realized she fit a lot of the clues where others were eliminated.

    The thing is, as for many of us who frequent this site, this is just a time killer, entertainment and amateur detective hour for me. Like many of you have previously stated, who knows if this blind is real or for that matter, if it will EVER be revealed.

    This is my favorite blog and I decided to participate for the fun of it. I feel there is some truth to the reveals and MV posts because it is sometimes very insider information that is divulged.

    I guess until the site gets shut down, Enty gets shot for trying to hint at MV's identity or we discover who Enty really is, I will go along with it and continue to be a fan of the site and a participant in the juicy and mysterious blind items!!
