Blind Item #3

Even C listers love to cheat on their wives and got to strip clubs. This C list actor that everyone would know if they saw him, but not his name has been in some of the best television shows ever. Not as a day player, but just the kind of actor who is in for five or six episodes and then moves on to the next project. Oh, he has also been in some of the biggest movies of all time, playing great character parts. Anyway, our actor is married, but spent a couple of nights with a complete stranger who was a fan and then partied with her and her friends at a strip club in Atlanta.

  2. I was thinking Clark Gregg ... I can never remember his name but I always recognize his face. But looking at imdb, he was actually a recurring role on several shows over the years. So not him.

  3. I was thinking Michael Rapaport as I was reading this, he played Phoebe's bf on friends for a bit and has been in some huge movies too.

  4. Steve Buscemi's definitely not C list!

  5. Buscemi is definitely A-list.

I want to think this is a soap opera star that has been in some movies ("day player," "episodes," "character parts").

It better not be Sean Astin. I will personally fly to CA and kick his a*. Goonies don't cheat!!

  6. ACK! I looked at Astin's IMDB and there are a ton of TV appearances. I don't think he's C-list, though. Loved him as the bad guy in that one Monk episode. :)

  7. I also thought of Michael Rapaport, but he and his wife are divorcing. Is Jon Favreau C list? He could fit.

  8. If you follow Sean on twitter you wouldn't think it was him. He's a total family guy. He just doesn't hit me as the type who would cheat on his wife.

I hate to say this but The Walking Dead films very close to Atlanta, Senoia specifically, & quite a few of the cast members live there. Could be one of them. Andrew Lincoln, Michael Rooker, & David Morrissey are all married.

  9. I think this is going to be someone who I read their name, have no idea who it is, Google them, and am like "OOOOHHHH, THAT guy."

So that nixes Rappaport and Buscemi. And Taye Diggs (c'mon, what woman couldn't identify Taye Diggs from down the street?), and John Favreau.

  11. Wow, sandybrook, exactly who I thought of right away. William Fitchner. Could it be?

  12. I loved William Fichtner on "As the World Turns" and pretty much everything else I've seen him in.

  15. Adam Goldberg. He was Chandler's crazy roommate on Friends and was in Saving Private Ryan. Was with Christina Ricci for a long time.

  16. Or Danny Nucci who was in Titanic and is married to the GORGEOUS Paula Marshall.

  17. Or Alfred Molina? Was in Raiders of The Lost Ark and Spider-Man 2.

  18. It would be exhilarating if he were David Costabile:
    - Gale in Breaking Bad
    - Meg's long suffering husband in Flight of the Conchords
    - an editor in the final season of The Wire
    - had also an arc on Damages
A few of these are considered as the the greatest shows of the decade (but not the most viewed)... and the guy was also in The Office.

Costabile was also recently on Lincoln, but he didn't do any part in another big movie.

  19. Jeff Goldblum. He shows up in every show/movie. Not sure if he would be C though..

  21. There is not enough here to make an educated guess. Could be dozens and top it off with the fact that you might not know the name and this blind is a waste of space.

  23. Blair Underwood. HE IS HOT.

  30. I agree with Sandy, William Fichtner is the definitive "hey it's....that guy" actor.
