Blind Item #1

This former A list mostly movie actor who would probably still be A list if someone would actually give him a role and not be scared of him or his lack of fans has been hitting the booze again and to top that off has also started taking several different kinds of pills that his psychiatrist prescribed. None of any of this seems to be working because he yelled at two people on the street the other day for simply walking by him and staring.

  3. That was one of the best parts of last night, when Seth did a Gibson joke and people "ooed" a bit, and Seth was all "Really? You're on HIS side?!"

I was thinking Mel as well.

Agree Mel. I thought that was funny too that the audience reacted that way. Same on the Chris Brown / Rhianna date night joke. Did anyone else notice how Joquin is looking more like Mel as he gets older? Reminds me of that great movie Signs.

Yes I did! If that blind is true that family has to be the most fucked up in HW. Could you imagine? Ugh.

  10. Nick Nolte was just in Gangster Squad.

I like Mel for this one. Can't see him visiting a shrink though...

  11. But Mel makes his own movies he doesn't have to wait for someone to hire him.

  12. VIP---YES! I loved when MacFarlane did that.....Really, SM as reminder of right & wrong & racism? Hilarious.

I think it's Mel. Jodie would give him a job, if she were working.

  13. MISCH--after 'Apocalypto' or whatever---then the rants, then the drinking & DV---Nobody wants him. Now add that his ex took her fair share, and that leaves him in need of funding to make any serious movie. Also he needs to be sober and have an idea.

  14. Who cares?
Kinda a dumb blind esp considering these stars get heckled, gawked, praised, kicked, blah blah blah every day...just sayin..it would get old. Im a nobody on the street and feel like snapping on randoms occasionally..jmho

  15. Mad Mel? He's been on everybody's hate list lately.

  16. Would Mel be considered "formerly A", though? I would think he's a permanent A. I can't see him visiting a shrink either, but who knows?

Loved Seth last night, his jokes were great.

  17. I agree re Mel. But I think it's more than a tad hypocritical of Hollywood to black list him because he was caught verbally abusing his girlfriend. One would think the rest of Hwood are completely innocent.

  18. VIP & katydid---I noticed Joaquin & sis too---and I was CRINGING, hoping Seth M wasn't going to make a joke about them (They've been to every awards show together this year--and the vibe is hinky, definitely). I guess Seth hasn't realized THAT bit o' gossip yet.

  19. Basil--I like it's the racism too.

  20. Nick Nolte again & always works!
    Mickey Rourke also !

  21. Melvin "AA" Gibson. The "AA" stands for alcoholic anti-semite. Or absolute asshole. Take your pick.

  22. Mel G. but I have given up trying to figure out Enty's rating system.

  23. Is it a whole,"Look away, I'm hideous!" thing, lol

  24. When Hollywood is run by Jews and you hate Jews Jews don't hire you for jobs.

  25. @Desiree Keanu is all movie, not mostly movie (meaning some TV, past or present). Plus he's never been known to drink/do drugs. And he's reportedly very nice to people on the street.

I don't think its Mel, I think Crowe fits this blind better.

Seth was hit or miss for me last night. Some stuff was funny - the Lincoln joke (Really? 150 years later and its still too soon?).

  26. Nicolas Cage is another option who might fit...

  27. The behavior sounds like both Mel and Russell. But, as Oscar Winners, they'd both be A plus according to Enty's ratings system. Pretty sure they are both all movie as well.

  28. Keanu would Neva. The dude Is harmless'

  29. I like the Rhys Meyers guess..

  30. How could it be Gibson, he is all movie, not mostly movie.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Not Keanu! He seems like a sweetheart and very down to earth. This sounds like Mel or Russell but Crowe has a few movies coming out while Mel doesn't really have much going on so I'm going with Mel for this one.

@basil, I agree, most of Hollywood is racist, violent and misogynistic. The problem with Mel is he did it publicly and before being accused of being racist by association they will cut him off. Look at what happened with Lea Dunham, because someone else mentioned her name along with the N word she was forced to apologize or she risked being labeled a racist. I don't feel bad for Mel, he is an asshole but the hypocrisy in Hollywood is just as repulsive.

  32. This has to be Mel Gibson.

  33. I'm on the Joaquin boat

  34. And now for someone completely different, Mark Ruffalo the Buffalo? He was looking bloated at the Oscars. He is supposed to be super nice and I have adored him since XX XY...

    ReplyDelete
  35. But Mel does not need a job he owns Icon Productions he just hires himself he still has oodles of money

    ReplyDelete
  36. and Mel has a couple of films he will be directing/producing

go back to Joaquin because he is one scary, talented by scary dude

  37. Speaking of Mark Ruffalo, I wish he hadn't cut his hair...I miss his curls, damn it. *sniff* I did think all the Avengers together were funny, both onstage and in the press room--apparently as they were all leaving the stage, RDJ yelled "Avengers disassemble!" :-) (Loved the jokes I saw today about Claudio Miranda being Chris Hemsworth's replacement as Thor, not to mention all the Lucius Malfoy cracks...)

  38. Olivier Martinez.
(Russell Crowe and Keanu Reeves have many REAL friends it seems depsite their disinterest in sucking up to Alisters and gossip writers.)

  39. I don't think this is Mel.
