Blind Item #1

What happens when you have two former A list all movie actors and now both B list all movie actors get together who both claim to be sober? They drink. A lot. Then the next day one of them gives a speech about how he is grateful to be sober while reeking of booze.

  1. Tim McGraw and Christian Slater both recently spoke on their sobriety.

    1. Yeah, but Tim is a country singer who recently got into acting, and Christian isn't B, maybe B-, C+. Right? I love his Jack Nickalson impression but really. Nah.

    2. I guess if you find misogynist, racist, bloated alcoholics sexy, more power to you.

  14. Yes, TMZ has a pic of Mel & Gerard out the other night going for steaks & "throwing back some sake." Um, sake is wine, and wine is drinking, boys...so really not so much with the sober living.

  15. It's not easy for someone with an addiction to stay sober. Lying about it is such BS though. Just embrace it so the people that actually are fighting the good fight and stay sober can be taken more seriously.

  17. There are pictures of Mel Gibson and Gerard Butler on a man-date. I'll go with them. Not on a man-date, but for the blind.

  18. I just pretend Gerard is the same as he was in 300, and Mel is the same as he was in Braveheart. In that fantasy bubble, they are still mighty fine.

    Outside..... blergh!

  20. Mel Gibson hasn't been claiming to be sober. While Tim McGraw has been saying he is sober in all kinds of interviews lately.

  26. Well I'm guessing one of them in Colin Farrell. On a flight a month ago I sat beside a flight attendant who said she flew with him recently from Dublin to NYC and he got so hammered he tried to take off all his clothes and then he passed out and they had to throw a blanket over him.

  29. Thanks for the info, Lucas and Lola. I have no experience with employment law but I find this very interesting since it is something that affects most of us. Do you think the assistant could be characterized as an administrative employee and therefore be exempt from the overtime requirements?
