  3. I should have said hi ("hi!") as well. My wife and I have been lurking and enjoying this site daily for about three years. I never thought I'd be interested in celeb gossip-stuff, but it's pretty fun.

Also, if anyone is into poetry, I have three collections for free on Smashwords. Enjoy, and thanks!

The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

  8. My Ebay name is MoonlightTreasures, right now I have some purses listed. I sell jewelry, native american pottery and old pawn sterling silver rings bracelets, used leather horse bridles and new and used tack plus more! I also have some old books and collectibles from my father in law, he has dementia now, but when he was "thinking" he would write down his memories of certain items for me to sell for him, what they were, how he got them or who they belonged to, some of his notes go back to the early 1900's from information he had, it is interesting. I also have a pure incense product I sell. My websites are not up, that is something I am working on. My email address is ckcrockett@hotmail.com if anyone is interested to see what else I have. I find some of the most unusual items and I love the "finding" part. But, no more auctions, estate sales, and yard sales for me until I sell what already have.

My all time favorite charity is Reins, this is a therapeutic riding program for handicapped kids and adults in Bonsall CA.

    Thanks for the opportunity Enty!

Now the world's best website, but one of my very favorite fundraisers ever. It's a completely student-driven fundraiser that's held every year by our local high school. Each year, the kids raise money for both a larger organization, like a children's hospital or this year's recepient, March of Dimes, and a "common thread charity", a local organization that all three local high schools have selected to support. This year's common thread is A New Leash on Life, which provides therapy and service dogs.

These fantastic kids raised over $288,000 last year! Please give them a look - perhaps they can inspire your community, too.

  24. When the troops are in Afghanistan, they often face loneliness, emotional hardship an physical injury. Many find solace in the stray dogs and cats that live on the bases (or are found elsewhere) that they adopt. Unfortunately, when the soldiers return home, they are forced to leave these animals, who gave them hope and love, behind. Nowzad is an organization which runs a shelter in Afghanistan and brings home the animals the soldiers have come to love and depend on.

If you love animals and would like to help the soldiers who gave so much...This is a wonderful organization .

  27. It's cold outside. Please donate warm clothes to your local men's or women's shelter, coats, scarves, gloves, socks.
Your local animal shelter would love to have you adopt a dog or cat or donate warm bedding, even old towels, bleach for cleaning, paper towels for cleaning.
Basically, anything you can do for someone less fortunate.

The site is down now, but Law Enforcement Against Prohibition is a wonderful organization, and they deserve more respect than what they get (and I am talking about how their rep's question was blown over the other night on c-span during the conference on marijuana. BTW, the former officer asked how it's acceptable that we have currently over 200g+ kids living in homes where child porn is being downloaded, meanwhile, millions of hours each year are devoted to going after this sole "green plant." And all this former cop wanted to know is how we find that acceptable. He also noted that on every call, whenever indecency was going on, alcohol was always involved, never herb. ALl things which need to be heeded and heard).
