  2. Of course the second one I cannot read at work! Oh Enty, why are you torturing me today:( I will be up all night tonight reading about these losers!!!

  3. I was reading this earlier but gave up after I saw it was never-ending.

@Amber, I saw that episode of Ally you mentioned in a different post a while ago and it made me sad. I felt like Ricky from MSCL always got the depressing story lines.

  4. Wow. What an awesome article! SO glad someone had the nerve to call her out.

  5. It's fascinating! I just commented in the other ll post. Too bad they didn't film the making of this likely dreadful movie.

  7. I love that its the Times and that Dina and her asshole family can't stop this...and of course that it'll get read by all of Hollywood. Insurance rates just quadrupled for her.....ha!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Good God. And he still wants to cast her as "Gloria". Hope he loses his shirt. Idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I just read it. Incredible. Forget insurance problems; who would ever want to work with her again after reading this? She's completely unprofessional, selfish, unreliable, disrespectful - the list goes on.

She also seems delusional. She hasn't worked on anything of note in years (and the prime years for an actress); L&D was a laughing stock; She's reduced to working on a soft-porn film for $100/day (and I can't imagine where her next work will come from) - and she still thinks she's a movie star.

Sorry, luv. The only reason you get press is because everyone loves a train wreck.

  10. Enty, you're soooo right! Page 3: The first child of a drug-abusing, felonious stock trader and a failed dancer ..... GOLD!!

  11. I'm already sad after page one! A formerly awesome director puts his hopes and dreams for a comeback on.. Blohan? Against the advice of his family and friends.. Gah! Poor schmuck .. And lol about the distinguished Older gentleman in the corner waiting for Linds to be done because he has a stack of presents for her.. This is too good! Ok .. Refilling my coffee and reading on!

  12. Excellent article, pretty fast read, dont be put off by length. Im sure this is what its like working with any so called star in hollywood, and actually she wasnt as bad as i thought shed be. Certainly not to say she's remotely professional. Her mother, of course, is a disgrace.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Honestly, she does have something and if she were to find a role where she essentially played herself, a washed up twenty something ex con hooker with a coke addiction, she could get some respect again from the industry. But she thinks she's an ingenue. She needs to find a nice character bit part that she can inject some honesty into.

  14. Page 4: said goodbye and hobbled in heels to her rented Porsche. Bwahahahhahaha!

  15. She's a monster....

    ReplyDelete
  16. What a moron! (The director) He thought he could film under the radar at a shopping center with Hollywood's most prolific and notorious thief. Does he ever read the internet? Security probably shows up in a flash whenever FeLohan tries to shop.

    ReplyDelete
  17. OMG. I'm only on page three and thinking I'm gonna bust a gut.
    With lines like this:
"The first child of a drug-abusing, felonious stock trader and a failed dancer" ...
I'm allowing myself an extra cup of coffee or three.
And putting a plastic sheet over the 'puter for the inevitable spit take.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Great read! She's so delusional.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hold on, I stand corrected...
We have better, and only page 3.

"(She would make it through “Liz and Dick,” a Lifetime movie, with the paramedics having to be called only once during the shoot. This was progress.)"

  20. The article ends way too positively, IMO. Too hopefully, unfortunately.

Has she responded on Twitter yet?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Toward the end of the article, it makes reference to things finishing up only because of a timely interference by her dad. Did anyone catch what that interference was? I somehow missed it, or the editing removed the initial reference to his involvement.

This article is also such an interesting insight into low-budget Hollywood, and how that town just spits people up (not just LiLo -- also the director and writer).

  23. @ Turkish Taffy. I thought the same thing. How can he want to work with her again? Sounds exhausting.

  24. can't stop reading

  25. Great article, Enty. Confirms everything you've ever written about her and the whole crew.

I'll bet Dina is livid, and I love it.

  28. @Seachica I think the dad comment was referring to her completing a scene so quickly because she was drawing on past experiences with her dad. That's how I took it anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Mango Ha!! That's what I thought too but I am a fast reader....it was worth it though.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I personally love the reference to "lady gaga flu"

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wow what an interesting read. It does go fast. I don't know how I feel. Parts of me feel sorry for her because of her deadbeat parents. Yet the director still saw the flashes of her talent despite all of her self-sabotage. Its a shame that she did not learn any lessons about life while filming Liz and Dick. I am curious to see this movie though.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @thatfunnygirl - Thanks. I guess that makes sense.

I can't wait to re-read this. It's really epic, in how it draws out an emotional story of three people eaten up by Hollywood (the director, Bret Easton Ellis, and LiLo). LiLo is such a spoiled brat/trainwreck, but you can see glimpses of why she is that way -- her mom hovering trying to listen into conversations; the passing comment to her dad. Great article.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Sorry, life's too short.

Fucking PRICELESS!!!!!! Two solid gold stars for the day to you Enty. She's such a vodka soaked consumptive herpalicious fraggle faced freckled feckless fuck up. I dare you to say that ten times fast. She can't act her way out a wet kleenex, not sure why the article said she could at times. Bwahaha! She'll never work again! Standing up, that is.

  35. She's a drama queeennnnnn!

Oh and to the folks saying it's because of alcholic pill popping Mom, or her cokey con artist woman beating Dad, she's 26 years old. 26. Not 16, not thirteen, 26. She knows that hollywood game, she's been doing it for a long long time, and she knows how to be a professional, she just chooses not to.

  38. Anonymous12:27 PM

The entire Lohan family is a train wreck.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Anna Namiss, I couldn't agree more.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Agree with Jules - James Deen sounds like a halfway decent guy (I'd probably rate him higher than halfway but the porn stuff puts me off). Seems he was professional and has some ethics. Perhaps he'll be in something without Lohan that isn't porn so I can see if he has any talent.

As for Lindsay, I don't know who is stupider, her or that director. Another movie I will refuse to see.

    ReplyDelete
  41. There are a few campy previews that they made for the movie. I saw the 70s style one and the 50s style one and liked this one better because there is dialogue.

  42. I keep telling myself I'm not gonna do it, but I know i'm gonna order this on VOD when it comes out. My hand will take over when my mind says DON'T PUSH THE BUTTON!!

omg, what a narcissistic, self centered, looney toon she is. She makes Halle Barry seem pleasant.

Lord knows i'm rooting for James Deen to be the breakout star of 2013.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Worth the time to read it, fascinating that she can manage to still hold grown men in her thrall....the most intriguing info was when the author noted that she seemed addicted to the chaos, and was terrified of being alone. And the lady gaga flu of course, we all saw those pictures last summer...

    ReplyDelete
  44. Holy cow, people, really?? I thought that was actually not a bad article about her. It talked about her talent, which I was glad to see still exists. I get tired of reading about her still not able to pull herself together, but the malice people have for her is unreal. Wow. You know that's another human being, right?

    ReplyDelete
  45. What a fascinating article! Sucks that Paul Schrader has been reduced to this crap. It seems he hasn't had a successful film since Affliction in 1997, although I did enjoy Auto Focus. That may have more to do with my interest in Bob Crane's bizarre life.

I'm probably alone in this, but I think Bret Easton Ellis is a laughable writer. I read Less Than Zero every few years just because it's so bad. He's lucky the American Psycho movie became so buzzworthy thanks to Christian Bale and reinvigorated his(Ellis)career.

Lindsay...sigh. I don't know why anyone would hire after this. Oh yeah the same reason these guys hire her - publicity. Any pub is good pub. Thought her and James Deen had gotten along well going by the few pictures I had seen.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I saw her 'talent' on Liz & Dick. It was a joke.

This is a 'human being' that ran up a $600 lunch bill on set that comes out of the budget to pay the crew. Tried to have James Deen fired before he even started filming and lied to the director about behaving on set.

She isn't self-aware she parrots the same bullshit over and over about change and working. When all it is about is hustling and stealing and screwing people over.

If she really cared about herself and her life. She would check out of Hollywood for a year and go under intense therapy.

This 'human being' also stole a beloved bracelet from Elizabeth Taylor's nurse and refused to give it back until the lovely nurse had to say the magic words 'i will call the cops'. She is a sociopath, a sycophant of the worst kind.

So fuck you and your pulpit speech @talktoomuch.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Again - seriously? Now you're going to tell me to fuck myself because of what people write about this woman? That you don't know??

You need to check yourself because it is not healthy to be that emotionally involved with some bullshit you read on a website.

    ReplyDelete
  48. hope that was enough malice for you

    ReplyDelete
  49. Says the person that comes to a board to do the exact same thing.

And fuck you some more, check that?

    ReplyDelete
  50. LOL - okay, that is not why I come on these boards. I come on these boards because USUALLY people are very funny and interested in celeb culture like I am. I was just shocked at how much everyone just all-out hates her, and how there is nothing positive EVER said about Lohan.

So why all the venom??? Someone poop in your cornflakes??

    1. Because Lilo is a nasty human being. She's proven this over the past years of horrible behavior. Any goodwill or talent has been eclipsed by her asshole antics. Everyone is tired of her shitty behavior so even if some director does say she has talent, her stealing, lying, slugging innocent people, crashing into vehicles, blaming others, is difficult to excuse. Lots of people have talent and don't behave like she does. I think sociopath is an accurate description, honestly.

      Delete
  51. Honestly I too was suprised that the NY Times mentioned Shrader thought she was still talented..But here's the deal..If Paul Shrader were also professional and talented perhaps he wouldn't be making shite like the Canyons? Just a thought.

Still Linds came off as completely unprofessional. I think he did pinpoint her issue and that is she's afraid to be alone..I've seen that a lot and them peeps are never happy.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think Schrader was joking about hiring Linds for a "Gloria" remake.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Really shows you how surrounded by enablers she is. Drinking on set with her friend (who I thought was also her assistant but the article doesnt say that) & then when her publicist or whoever he was shows up, complains about not wanting the article to portray her in a negative light & then he bolts out of the chauffered car with her & they run off to lunch in another car

    ReplyDelete
  54. Thanks for posting the link to the article, Enty.

It was really interesting reading about the string of *uckery that happen when the lead actor/actress is late or missing. There was a lot of the 'tail wagging the tiger' in this. I could not believe how many people

It is sad that Lindsey can't get her addictions under control. I felt so sorry for the crew that had to work with her. What a prima donna!

I can't say I felt sorry for the director, especially near the end, where he was considering hiring her again.

    ReplyDelete
  55. The article is excellent, the fog of delusion and desperation is incredible. Love the NYT comments, too, especially the one referring to Lohan as a 99Cents Store Lolita.

    ReplyDelete
  56. That was great. Glad that I subscribe to such a paper.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Wow, that was fascinating. Well worth reading all the way through. I'd love for this guy to follow James Deen around for a while. He seems much more intriguing than LiLo. He broke the rules to go off and film a porn in the middle of their shoot, and I seriously doubt he needed the money. Sounds like his demons may be as deep as hers.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Over 50 comments here, and not one has mentioned the middle-aged john from the initial meeting. It sure wasn't subtle in the article.

  59. I caught it. The guy with gifts. I'm too busy laughing at how she name dropped "Jared" and they thought someone else.

Jordan catalano is probably cringing he got dragged into this telling glimpse of a really pathetic person.

    ReplyDelete
  60. It seems her real talent is manipulating people into getting whatever she wants from them. Whether it is a part, money, a second chance, a chance to steal from them, even sympathy- everything is a con to her.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I find it interesting that she apparently has no problems behaving like a porn star with men who bring her gifts, yet she had a huge meltdown at the idea of filming a foursome with porn stars. Does she think she's above one but not the other?

Overall, the article was well-written and seemed very balanced. While Lindsey did come across as a self-absorbed brat, there were flickers of a real actress in there. Even if we have trouble seeing her as anything other than a walking train wreck, at least the author didn't have such hangups.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Yikes, she's even worse than I thought!

  63. Stay classy Timebob! You obviously have no life if your this invested in hating Lindsay Lohan. You don't even know if the things Lindsay has supposedly done are true. @sara you've got to be kidding, right? lohan's actions aren't gossip, they're documented FACTS. the original trolls' comment wasn't an opinion, it was a suggestion for how everyone should act. just like your comment. go back to your lohan4ever fan club, this isn't the place for that

  64. @sarasmile you are such a fucktard yourself.

Have any opinion you want but don't come in here and point your nose down at other people's opinions. This might get complicated so stay with me.

It has nothing to do with being a sheep. I see you are too stupid to see the pont and that's cool.

It has to do with the respect of the people who come in here everyday and have something to say. Not some random weirdo like yourself or @toomuch with your 'ohhhh you're so meannnn bullshit'. You don't have an opinion you are being condescending, get it?

You support Lindsay, fine you hate her fine. But when you bitch about people's opinions then get on a pulpit like your opinion matters above others than I get to say fuck off.

    So fuck off.

And I did NOT suggest how everyone should act, I was expressing how shocked I was that everyone was so quick to vilify someone so completely. She's 26! Did you do no dumb shite when you were 26? ReplyDelete
  71. i thought it was interesting to read, a glimpse inside hollywood...sure its not about a big budget film about 'professional actors' but that is what makes it interesting. the movie is probably seedy and hollywood, in that way, which makes me want to watch it. so what he knew all about lindsey. he knew and yet he cast her. so, it works. the only thing was, the writer did not capture her MPD she has. thats something i truly want to read about.

  77. It's a quick read and very interesting. While I don't make excuses for her behaviour, I do think that she had no role models growing up with her idiot mother and loser Dad. I don't think she knows what normal is and she just continues to do what works for her, cheered on by her mother. Sad, because she was a really good actress in Mean Girls and whatever the other early film she did was. Too bad no one took her under their wing to shelter her and provide guidance, instead of just riding the gravy train to hell.
