I teared up myself, seeing this. You never know what a little bit of help can do for someone. It's people like this with open hearts, willing to take a chance and help someone else that make a difference in the world. What a beautiful thing!

  3. It was nice to see a part of Steve's early life when he was starting out. He's definitely one of my favorite celebrities. I'm sure he's paid their generosity forward many many times, and that he will continue to.

  5. Awwww!

My favorite part was, "I got money now!!"

Awesome. Good people are out there.

  9. For some reason he reminds me a little of Richard Pryor in the face.

    This was pretty awesome...

  11. And to add you know he speaks about it often or his staff would have never known about these people. One question? If they owned a furniture store why couldn't he find them if he'd been searching for them all these years? Were we manipulated? Sorry don't mean to sound cynical. Just wondering what could be the reason.

  12. That's such a moving gesture by his crew, and an excellent surprise for Steve. I'm glad they could reconnect after all these years.

  13. Ack! So many Ninjas cutting onions over here!! Sometimes people just need a hand up. I am unemployed (with a Master's) and recently one friend handed me $400 and another friend a gift certificate to Kroger. Those gifts gave me enough to get far ahead on my food supplies and household items. I think they are angels. I volunteer at the local food pantries, but one day I hope to help someone else like they did me.

  14. Steve Harvey is full of crap! He has all the means to find them. Google, facebook, furniture website. Those were tears of shame.

  15. Uhhh he said they owned a furniture store when he was 26. Not sure how many furniture stores had websites then and they live in Florida now, so likely the furniture store isn't even open anymore. Some people HAVE managed to keep their info off the internet, my dad was one of them. I think this is legit and it was awesome to watch.

  16. Sorry but still don't like him. After how he treated his ex-wife and kids, he just comes across as really arrogant and insincere

  17. I love him and he's sooo good on family feud.

  18. Li - I am with you!!! I cannot stand this man. His humor is at the expense of others; he fronts to be the born again Christian and preaches of Christian values and what he did to his ex wife and kids - he almost went to jail 2-3 maybe 4 yrs ago. He's a hypocrite and a pig

  19. Late to the party, but Wow! Did this ever get me! I love how Steve has changed from what he was a few yrs ago to the tender man of God he is today. He freely admits he did wrong, but those that are forgiven much, love much. In him, it's obvious he's been forgiven much. I'm happy that today he's on the right side & trying to make up for the wrong he's done in the past.
