Reporter Gets Back At Videobomber During Live Telecast

I don't think anyone will ever interrupt this reporter again during a broadcast.

  1. Not that great, the bomber didn't really seem embarrassed. Good try by the reporter though!

    1. I actually live on the other side of the river. Hate being too specific on the internets. Sorry for my fib. But I used to work out that way. My commute was horrible! And yes, I know this Freddy's!

BTW - a friend asked Siri to look for something in Tanasbourne. Siri tranated as Tennis Porn!!!!

  6. I went to college in NOLA and I was there for the 1997 Super Bowl (not at the game) and it's a whole different level of crazy there Super Bowl weekend! That's saying a lot! :)

  9. Is it just me or does the reporter sound a little sauced herself? "And here we are on Bourbon St" (while swaying back and forth a little). Love it! Sidenote: GO 49er's!!

  10. +1 for the reporter!

    Go Niners!!!

  11. OK...girlfriend was feeling no pain and did a happy drunken 'foorty niiinners!' shout out...so Ms Thing couldn't roll with it in the spirit of play and went cut throat gutter?

I think she's extremely lucky that the sister (even in her state) kept her response in check and showed that she was the one with class. I can see her saying this to the wrong woman and getting beat down on camera.

  12. Wow, the young reporter is taking herself a little too seriously ...

I like the exchange. I think that the drunk lady could have popped her head in and said woohoo niners! and then left the shot, and the reporter was super quick to shoot her down, it was gutter, but got the point across quickly. Are you here for an interview? She must have had that rehearsed because it probably happens constantly!

  15. Oh, c'mon y'all, the whole thing was funny.

  16. I'm just bored to death with all the Superbowl hype. And I'd say that if my favorite team was in it. How many dumb players and drunk fans can reporters assail with stupid questions? I'm just tired of it. Just play the damn game!

  17. Totally unprofessional. I'd be truly shocked if any national news desk brings her up beyond the local reporting level, having no sense what she might say on air. Though she might have a career in entertainment elsewhere.

  18. am i the only one who thinks she is a drag queen, or mtf transgender?

  19. The reporter will leave NOLA with an STD

  20. Good for the reporter. That must easily be the hundredth time some jerk has done that to her, and this time she turned it back on them.

Best part was how fast the woman sobered up. "I don't have an STD. That's so disrespectful!"

Disrespectful, but yelling "49'ers!!" during the reporter's broadcast isn't?

And then she did it again!

I bet the network gets sued although I don't really blame the reporter. She should probably have a job where she doesn't have to interact with the public

  24. Absolute dick move by the reporter. Team drunk lady

  25. I deleted my previous post because I didn't get the full context the first time.

Anyway, I still think the reporter was unprofessional and downright mean. But, I could see how tired she is from being one of the few sober people on the street at the time. So, she decided to take it out on the 49ers fan who was just out having a good time.

In my opinion, the fan seems to be a nicer person than then the reporter, that's for sure!

  26. Ok no judgement here because this may be me in this spot on Monday.

NOLA baby! Although I am trying this new thing called staying sober, we shall see how that holds up this weekend on Bourbon Street.

  27. That reporter should get in trouble with the boss for that. What did she expect on in N.O.? Stupid bitch.

  28. After reading these comments, I couldn't watch beyond the reporter saying "...the std rate." I didn't want to see that poor woman humiliated. :( Very unprofessional, not to mention mean-spirited.

  29. AND FURTHERMORE . . . . . ( I cannot let this thing go)

The "drunk lady" seemed like a sweet woman (dressed in a stylish and non-slutto dress which you don't often see on Bourbon street) who wasn't even that obnoxious. She seems like a nice professional who got caught up in Superbowl fever and the rare night on the town, saw a camera and did a little "what what" because very few tipsy folks (in one of the most lushy spots in the United States) could resist that.

Sorry - I don't know why this is bugging me so much

  30. I'm with Sunny! What the hell else did this reporter expect doing a live report from Bourbon Street? She's lucky to have only encountered this lady! And while I'm sure the reporter thought she was being clever, it just came across badly.

Between Mardi Gras and the Super Bowl, I can only imagine NOLA is in rare form right now.
