I feel so old looking at these pics, I have no idea who half of these people are! The Anna, Diana, 90210 people I guess? Nahla looks thrilled to be with Gabriel, and I have never seen her look that happy with Halle. Anthony Keidis has never done it for me, to each their own I guess.

I met Kevin at a meet and greet press thing yrs ago. His wife was repped by an agent where a friend of mine worked. We decided that the biggest surprise about them was just how dumb they were. Just not bright. At all. Very disappointing, I've always liked his acting.

@agron: don't people teach their kids to close their mouths when they're not talking? People always look vapid when they're mouths are just open like that.
ReplyDeleteI watched a docu called the Other F Word about rock musicians becoming fathers and Flea spoke about his troubled childhood and how he tried so hard to be a good father to his daughter. He actually starts to cry when speaking about her. It's quite touching.

I watched the Charlie Sheen interview on Dr. Oz...it was interesting, but nothing new or earth-shattering. If anything, I have a little more compassion for him, he has serious problems (maybe or maybe not due to his lifestyle)...

E Banks just made a lovely statement about how mothers of only children aren't really mothers. So dumb.

That statement was totally taken out of context. She was saying the gravity of motherhood really hit home when #2 came along. I felt the same way - transitioning from having 1 kid to have 2 was a real eye-opener.

ReplyDeleteNahla SHOULD be happy with Gab, he's her father. When the paps were taking pictures of Nahla, Halle and her man last year at the beach that child was happy and I suspect she still is. Just because the grownups don't like each other doesn't mean she isn't loved by both equally.

I've always had a thing for Kevin Bacon. I hope his new show does well, but it will be interesting to see how often he will be compared to his wife now. Hers did so well that there will be constant comments comparing the two.

ReplyDeleteKyra was in my home town filming that Something to Talk About movie with Julia Roberts years ago, my friends and I passed her on the street and spoke to her about how much we loved the movie Singles. She was nice but not really all that impressed that we liked the movie so much.We were bumbling 19-20 year olds though so maybe it was just us??

ReplyDeleteWho'da thunk Flea would look better on the beach than Anthony Kiedis?? Wowza! I loved RHCP when I was younger. But to me, everything after Mother's Milk sucked. (And while I'm being a bitchy GenXer, so does everything Metallica did after "...Justice". Now get off my lawn!)
So now because people don't like Halle Berry she's suddenly a bad mother whose child is happier with her father? Give me a break! I don't see Samdra Bullock's, Angelina's, or Katie Holme's child/ren smiling in every pic but no one assumes that they're bad mothers.
ReplyDeleteThis Halle hate is getting ridiculous. Do I think she's perfect? No. Do I think that she (intentionally or not) picks bad guys? Yes. Does that automatically mean that she is a bad mother whose child is unhappy with her?? No!
Things aren't always what they seem. Maybe she wanted to take Nahla away from that douche because he's the type of man who might come to her house over the holidays and act violently in front of their child. Oh wait... But of course she's 'Halle Scary'. *eye roll*
Funny, i was going to add to my post, in no way do i think halle is a bad mom or nalha isnt happy with her, but i thought one doesnt equal the other. But as i think about it, i do dislike her for making the custody an issue, and i dislike her trying to abscond to france with their daughter. And for someone raised without a father, u wld think she'd very much want that for her little girl. I think to halle's way of thinking, nalha is hers, and she hates having to share her with gabe. And Nalha does seem delightfully happy little girl, so they all must be doing something right:)

DeleteI think Diana Argon looks particularly pretty in that photo never really had an opinion of her one way or another but I think she looks quite striking in that photo. Maybe I had too much sake with dinner but I think she's cute
