    1. OMG. I miss Soul Train and ABS. Remember the Solid Gold dancers? I grew up with dancing and big hair on TV.

      Fun times!

  8. Adorable! Eight or so is such an uninhibited age. One of my younger boy's friends got in trouble for doing that at school. "Christian got in trouble today from Mr. {blahblah} for dancing like a video girl."

  9. That was great! I have an eight year old and he's awesome sauce too. I love boys!

  12. There is no dancing more joyous or uninhibited like grade school age boy dancing. We do dance offs at work with the kids on the regular, one of the best parts of the job.

  13. The mom didn't look embarrassed at all...she seemed rather proud of him. What a kid!

  20. Cute! That little guy has some moves. Glad he had fun.

  21. Wow! That kid can dance. Even though it was cheesy, you can tell he can move his body. I agree with @Dia about the dance class. I hope his parents recognise his talent and have him in some sort of dance class if they haven't already. He looks like he would really enjoy them too!

  22. Adorable! Move it little man! :)

  23. My 13 year old son busts similar moves. I love it.

  24. Agree with Audrey. Typical mom reaction. Looks like a fun family!

  25. Love how uninhibited kids are. He doesn't care what anyone thinks, he likes the song and wants to get his groove on. I hope and pray he doesn't lose that sheer joy in music and movement during adolescence.

  26. He's such a cutie!!

OT - I've been trying to change my profile pic for weeks. It changes in Blogger, but I still get the orange B here. What the heck!

  28. OT hope the Brazilian readers were not affected by the horrible fire last night in a nightclub. 180 are dead thus far. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2269057/At-180-die-Brazilian-nightclub-indoor-fireworks-display-band-performance.html

  33. I hate that boys usually eventually outgrow the joy of dancing.

  34. That was adorable, LOL!

  35. OMG, Agent, that's horrible! :(

  36. Go on with it little man! Having fun is what it is all about.

  37. Yeah, let the kid have his fun. If he's a typical young sprout, he's about to go from goofy chimp to over-muscled silverback, and he won't even be able to move his hips like that again. I couldn't by the time I was 5-10 years older than him, despite lots of bodywork and yoga.

  38. That was adorable. He'll be on Leno, Letterman and Jimmy Fallon within a week.

  39. That was AWESOME! My son does the same thing, but he looks more like Carlton. I youtubed the Carlton dance last night to show him. He thought it rocked! He did wonder what happened to Will Smith's hair in the clips though. I had nothing to say.

  40. What a little showman :) He's quite good mimicking the older girls.
