Frank Ocean Pressing Charges Against Chris Brown
You probably won't believe it, but yesterday Chris Brown compared himself to Jesus and said he is being nailed to the cross for doing nothing wrong. Umm yeah. So much wrong with that. Anyway, numerous witnesses have come forward and said that Chris threw the first punch. I doubt anything will happen to him but Frank Ocean is going to try and is pressing charges against Chris. Chris is still on probation for the Rihanna beating but nothing happened after the club fight when people were seriously injured so Frank getting a cut finger is not going to do anything either.
He should still try. Chris Douche could do with some jail time!!!
ReplyDeleteCB will end up being somebody's bitch in jail. I know they would put him in solitary. But inmates have major issues with abusers!
DeleteI prefer Fist Brown
DeleteWoo Hoo! Happy dance, happy dance....
ReplyDeleteAt least there's some good news today. Some of my faith in humanity will be restored if Chris Brown actually gets in trouble this time.
ReplyDeleteTo Jesus? He should try comparing himself to Ike Turner instead. Anger issues have been his downfall this whole time.
ReplyDeleteGood for Frank Ocean! What ever the outcome he's standing up for himself & his friends. Nobody is above the law (not Roman Law, either) of course it's never CB's fault. Like the fight with Drake, the lady with the cell phone...
ReplyDelete@Mari, don't forget about that window he shattered with a chair at GMA.
Deleteafter reading how everybody defends that piece of shit including bieber and swift
ReplyDeleteim so happy to hear this guy takes him to court!!
thank god for Miranda Lambert and Frank Ocean.
am SO dissapointed for taylor swift
That's because Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift are MORONS.
DeleteLOL this story is soo funny. In my mind this was just a lovers quarrel. So lets stay out of their bedroom! Haha
ReplyDeletewhat Mari said
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for whichever random CB defender shows up to justify this asshat Jesus comparison.
ReplyDeleteThere is NOTHING they won't defend.
As long as Charlie Sheen is alive,Chris will always get a pass.
DeleteWaitaminute,I got that backwards...as long as Chris Brown is around,Charlie Sheen and what's that new white boy...the Lane dude will always get a pass.
DeleteSometimes,I get my White Male Pass guidelines confused,my bad.
Wait a minute is that a purple dolphin on his shirt! Wtf!
ReplyDelete@netta- I can't stop looking at his adorable little shirt now.
DeleteAm very glad Frank Ocean is laying charges. Chris needs to learn to keep his hands to himself. I wonder who ended up with the parking space.
ReplyDeleteWhere and how did Swift defend Chris Brown? That seems unlike her. She usually stays out of anything controversial.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Hope he walks away with a armful of Grammys, just to really piss Brown off.
ReplyDeleteI read it on today's lainey's introduction
ReplyDelete" it’s also Taylor Swift who told Rolling Stone in August that she has playlists full of Chris Brown music"
http://www.laineygossip.com/Intro-for-January-29--2013/25803
Thanks Beta. so not a defense of him, just a fan of his music. I couldn't see Swifty opening a can of worms and defending what he did or who he is. As disgusting as Chris Brown is, he's had celebs do that.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Rolling Stone comment was Taylor Swift's attempt at being edgy and non-vanilla.
ReplyDeleteAs for Chris Brown, is it just the controversy that is making him such a hot commodity? I know he's a talented auto-tuneer, but still -- I would think that whatever his people are making off of him would be taken away by all the people they have to pay off and all of the lawyer bills they have to pay. There's gotta be a point where the liability doesn't justify the gains.
Unfortunately I think Brown is still a big moneymaker. I don't know how he still has so many female fans, he looks like a meth addict
ReplyDeleteFrank Ocean blocked his car because he said that he was parking in 'his' space. They waited for him to come out of the studio.
ReplyDeleteFrank Ocean's guy threw the first punch.
Now, I'm CERTAINLY not defending CB, because a grown man should know to walk away. At the same time I'm not going to deify FO.
You were there?
Delete@imake, @ablake is right. i know someone who was there. they aren't part of chris' team for what it's worth
DeleteNot worth much but thank you first person to ever respond to me....i feel special now
DeleteLotta- zing! You nailed that one!
ReplyDeleteChris Brown is the new BlowHan. No charges ever stick to him. The California judicial system is a joke.
ReplyDeleteMaybe if FO said it was a hate crime because he's gay it would stick?
ReplyDeleteTrying make up charges on the man,y'all evil!!!
Delete@justcurious, why do you love him so much? keep chanting 'Charlie Sheen' all you want, but two wrongs still won't make a right.
DeleteABlake, that was Chris's side of the story. Frank had a completely different story, and he's the one who stuck around to talk to the cops, so I buy his version over a known violently aggressive felon
ReplyDeleteEverytime I read Frank Ocean, I think Billy Ocean and hear Caribbean Queen in my head.
ReplyDeleteOmg me too, I wish they were father and soon and would perform get out of my dreams and into my car
DeleteNo more love on the run
Deleteyes, Chris Brown should be in jail. Or maybe his defenders think FO was asking for it, just like RiRi. She MADE him beat her! Poor Chris, he's just misunderstood.
ReplyDeletePlease, this isn't going to court. He cut his finger? How does that happen in a beatdown?
ReplyDeleteBy all accounts Chris 'shoved' him. So maybe he fell and scraped his hand on the pavement.
Again..NOT DEFENDING Chris because I think men who hit women should be tossed into an arena full of hungry lions. At the same time this guy looks to be getting attention. If he were 'beaten' don't you think the pictures would be everywhere?
Check this out http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2013/01/chris-brown-frank-ocean-brawl-history-of-animosity-to-blame/
" "Of course, we are going to investigate," Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said, noting that it may lead nowhere.
"It is our understanding that it does not rise to the level of an alleged assault. As a matter of fact, it could be a minor scuffle over a parking spot."
Hell,he went to twitter or whatever social media before going to the cops. That won't help his case. I'm thinking he has an project coming out soon.
DeleteBy all accounts?
DeleteSimply not true.
Seachica---If FO were from the Caribbean, that would be such an awful pun.
ReplyDeleteSo awful I had to mention it.
Trey, completely understand.
ReplyDeleteI think he should be in jail as well, just not for this.
It sure sounds like you're defending Chris Brown.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't by all accounts that Chris "shoved" him. Other accounts say Chris cold clocked him. And Brown is still on felony parole. I'm not saying he'll get jail time, but eventually one of these incidents has to lead to something. Or does he have to actually kill someone first?
Frank Ocean hardly needs the attention from this. He's doing just fine.
I have typed and deleted and retyped again and deleted again, trying to figure out how to say what I want to say. But I am not in the mood for a knock down drag out today.
ReplyDeleteAnd for all those who think the Swift hate is unjustified, well here is your damn justification. Like I said yesterday, I don't respect anyone who supports or defends Chris Brown.
ReplyDeleteJust because she likes his music DOESN'T mean she approves of his behavior. There really is a difference.
DeleteABlake---I just realized... I wasn't talking about you defending CB...I was talking about the total unknowns that appear on certain posts. We know you!
ReplyDeleteI agree we're piling on to a smallish story.
I just wanted to be sure you knew that there's a difference between your reasonable defense, and the 'toilet flush' person from yesterday!
I'm sorry if it looked like I was referring to you, at all!
Trey as sickening as this is, I have a friend who has been a longtime lover of CB and actually said that Rhianna probably deserved it, she was probably being a crazy bitch and he just reacted. This is a friend who was with me when my boyfriend at the time decided that he liked to punch me in the face and when I asked her if she thought I deserved it, she said she didn't know the situation well enough. So those are the kind of people that still support him, sadly enough.
ReplyDeleteYikes, your friend was an asshole
Delete@jsierra i'm sorry you went through that. no man should ever put his hands on a woman
DeleteJSierra, you deserve better friends.
DeleteFTR--I DO think CB should be considered in violation of parole, or whatever, for this punch. It's just a smallish fight compared to his other infamy.
ReplyDeleteOh I have no doubt that sooner rather than later CB is going to be shot by someone he attacks. He obviously has the maturity of an 8 yr old (not meant as an insult to 8 year olds) but I haven't even heard of Frank Ocean until now, so take that for what it's worth.
ReplyDeleteI'm not defending him. I can't stand him, his gf beating ways or the damn lisp he has. I'm just not into HE'S DONE IT BEFORE SO HE MUST BE GUILTY. I don't think he's a saint but when you look at the facts (even the police on record as not being too concerned)it screams media ploy.
Jsierra, I'm sorry that happened to you. There are a lot of people who think violence is a normal part of a relationship. I hope you got away from that guy and that friend.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, Rihanna taking back up with him is sending a horrible message to the world.
Message of Forgiveness?
DeleteABlake, I think we're going to have to agree to disagree. There are no facts yet, just a couple of quotes from the police from gossip sites. And even those quotes and stories are contradictory. Like I said, Frank Ocean's story is that Chris punched him, not that he shoved him. Chris has already been violent multiple times since he was put on probation. There's a reason you're in bigger trouble for smaller crimes when you're on probation, and it's because your past actions do count against you. Frank Ocean isn't known as a violent person and Chris is. Maybe nothing will come of this, but I'm not sure why Chris deserves the benefit of the doubt here over someone like Ocean, who has always seemed calm and uses his words instead of his fists to make his point.
ReplyDelete<3 libby :) thanks for that. I promise I'm not defending him for beating her. Again, release the lions!
ReplyDeleteIt's just that I think this guy may be using the bandwagon for all its worth and that's not fair (if the accounts of him starting it by blocking in Chris' car and waiting for him to come out of the session) That's all.
JSeirra no one ever 'deserves' it. No one. I had an ex like that. I took care of it by flying an older brother into town. (Well actually, he took care of it) We aren't put on this earth to be hit and abused.
I hear you Trey. thanks
ReplyDeletehe thinks he's Jesus because he thinks he can get away with everything, he's dillusional
ReplyDeleteI also cant stand cb with a passion. In this case im not sure what happened. I dont think either one of them r innocent. Cb is an easy target for folks.
ReplyDeleteChris and Frank don't get along, haven't had for some time. I think they had a Twitter fight at one point. So who knows what really went down. Chris clearly has issues, but he and Frank had 'beef' anyway.
ReplyDeleteAs far as enjoying his music, I can't fault anyone for that. There are lots of unsavory people in the industry who produce good entertainment. It's a delicate balance. How to separate the person from the work? It's a question that I don't think will ever have a complete answer.
Thats why I get so irritated with Ri too, no one should have to deal with that shit but it's almost like she wants it, she is encouraging him that he can do whatever the fuck he wants to people and everyone will still support him. Taylor freaking Swift, little miss goody goody supports him for christ's sake.
ReplyDeleteIt also ties in with the whole Lena saying Ri isn't a good role model. Do you want your kids looking up to someone who lets herself be used and abused?
ABlake ITA, he is going to piss off the wrong people one day and someone is going to pop him. Preferably in the dick.
Rihanna's dad beat her mom, she didn't exactly grow up with a healthy ideal of love. I think she should get counseling.
DeleteRihanna said she used to beat her younger brothers up.
DeleteGosh sorry, this just gets me so riled up sometimes. I have a huge issue with this snake, if you guys hadn't noticed.
ReplyDeleteIt's easy to say that Rihanna allows herself to be abused. The more difficult question is why. We know that many who have been abused return to their abusers several times. Rihanna is following that bad trend.
ReplyDeleteInstead of worrying about why Rihanna isn't a role model, I'd rather see her take care of herself. She's carries a lot of hurt and acts out with the skimpy clothes, numerous tattoos( subbing that for cutting, maybe?), and drug use.
It's a complex issue and sadly, there are no easy answers.
Can we put Hope Solo,Brooke Miueller and Diane Lane in the same boat?
DeleteLayna if I took this the wrong way I am truly sorry.
DeleteRihanna is no different than oh half the population.
Skimpy clothes, tattoos, and drug use?
You just described my four years in the Navy.I guess are military just acts out.
l
You just made a huge generalization. Good to know people with tattoos need to take care of themselves.
Chris still beating bitches,huh?
ReplyDeleteLOL
He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!!!
ReplyDelete@Its Just You - Ha!
DeleteOh my, my, my. haven't been on the net in ages and look what's happened: Fist Brown has socked someone. *eye roll* Why am I not surprised? This man is a danger/menace to society!
ReplyDeleteWith a history, temper and consistent childish and violent behaviour, I don't know how anyone can think Chris did NOT start and end this. He's an asshole, period.
ReplyDeleteRocketQueen, by all accounts (that I've seen) CB was inside recording and FO blocked his car in and waited for him.
ReplyDeleteHe may have ended the fight but it doesn't seem like he started it.
I don't know...I'm done supposedly defending this guy. I don't like him but I do believe that you shouldn't immediately be considered guilty before proven innocent. I think FO has a dog in this fight and CB is an easy peasy target. He cut his finger? Geez, I did that opening an envelope during Christmas. Who can I sue?
ABlake Match.com
ReplyDeleteABlake - I see your point of view, really I do, but I'm sorry. Chris Brown NEVER GETS THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT.
ReplyDeleteJSierra ??
ReplyDeleteNot sure what you mean by that.
RQ I see where you're coming from
i didn't get why people got so angry yesterday but i get it now. i feel that frank ocean (and other celebs) coming out has made it okay to some people to make gay jokes. making jokes is often the entire reason why people don't come out. they end up living a closeted life full of hate. how can you applaude someone coming out then joke that they probably want to have sex with every same-sex person they encounter?
ReplyDeleteI think Ocean's "coming out" was more publicity stunt than liberation.Saying Target wouldn't stock his cd because he came out(but Target has Elton John,George Michael and Ricky Martin) was slanderous.Target should have sued.
DeletePeople joked about Mantei T'eo's sexuality and no one came to his defense.Katie Couric asked the boy if he was gay but no one protested.
If you're gay and a celeb, you need to roll with the punches just like the str8 celebs who get busted for their indiscretions.
@ Ablake - another story from yesterday. Sue match.com for the paper cut.
ReplyDeleteLike I said in yesterday's post, in no way is CB a saint, or Jesus for that matter sheesh, but yes, this seems likes way to take advantage of CB's previous behavior to make him look like the instigator, when he really might not have started *this* particular fight. Been there, knows how it feels.
Does anyone remember the story about the alligator and some other animal? It's basically about an animal befriending the alligator, until it bites him, and the animal was wondering why the gator bit him after befriending him, and the gator basically says "What do you expect? I'm a gator - it's in my nature to eat you." I might've gotten the set-up wrong, but the moral stayed the same. Chris is an alligator, he doesn't know any better, and it seems like this behavior is so ingrained that he can't change. That doesn't make it blameless, just don't go looking for him to be a bigger person in this situation, and to provoke him almost makes it look like you're looking for trouble. Just my two cents, and sorry for the book. :/
@ Beta - thanks for clarifying about Swift. It didn't make sense that she was actually defending him. She's just not that controversial.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I liked that Youtube wedding video that went viral a couple of years ago, but I'm not a fan of his music.
Does anyone know his back story? Is he from an abusive home? Why is Chris Brown so damned angry?
Chris said his mom (manager) was abused by his dad.
DeleteChris is no more angry than Charlie and Sean.
Leave the boy alone.
IMakeNoSense: no problem, but you really read too much into my statement. Not everyone who gets tattoos or wears skimpy clothes has a problem, obviously.
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty assumptive of you to jump to such conclusions.
Please explain the subbing tattoos for cutting herself thing. Our are you jumping to conclusions?
DeleteIMakeNoSense I responded to you yesterday about Jessica Biel being C list ya goober.
ReplyDeleteI forgot I posted on that one. Thank you.
DeleteChris Brown has been talking smack about Frank Ocean for a bit now. Guess he's mad about Frank being talented and loved amongst all cultures. Looks like Chris messed with the wrong one.
ReplyDelete@just curious - I think every older sibling ever has picked on/beat on their younger siblings. That's hardly evidence of everything. If you want to defend Chris, that's your right, but don't expect people to eat that shit.
ReplyDeleteI remembered Rihanna brought it up in an interview about her beating up her brothers. Her reason being was maybe to show she wasn't a meek female. You hear girls bragging about fighting dudes (Rousey,MMA figher) but rarely girls bragged about fighting other girls.
DeleteAs far as shit eating, the only shit feeding is from YOU and your folk...WPB (white people bullshit)
hes out of control rich pretentious ahole. Its crazy. Hes like Lindsay at this point where its everyone elses fault
ReplyDeleteSoooo Ronda Rousey only fights dudes eh? I would love to hear you explain that one.
ReplyDeleteAnd Cyborg does NOT count as a dude even though she is so yaked on steroids she probably is starting to turn into one.
IMakeNoSense I do wonder though, what rating is Jessica Biel now? I need to make a new chart.
ReplyDeleteI suck at guessing that's why i was asking the experts.
DeleteI'm not jumping to conclusions any more than you are, IMakeNoSense.
ReplyDeleteSo you can call someone on jumping to conclusions but you're excused?
DeleteGood to know. Have a good night.
@justcurious - actually, I"m only 50% white, so now what's your argument?
ReplyDeleteThere's always going to be someone defending Chris' actions by blaming the victim or blaming his childhood, I guess that's you.
@Just Curious, can I ask a question? I absolutely mean no disrespect and I am not trying to upset you but I would like to know something.
ReplyDeleteDo you think everybody who beats women should get a 'pass' or that every man who beats a woman should be held to account for their actions?
I only ask because I don't understand why you keep defending Chris Brown's actions while wanting everybody to hate all the 'white guys' who do the same things.
I personally do not condone anybody doing these things but ,since I don't run the world, I can only control the music I listen to and the movies I watch and the shows I follow ,which include none of the 'white guys' who get a 'pass'.
Again, I'm not trying to start anything, just asking a question.

ReplyDeletejust curious is pointing out that Charlie Sheen has a much longer and more serious history of abusing people, yet there is a more tacit acceptance of his past deeds than of Chris Brown. Chris Brown obviously has a rage disorder too, but Charlie Sheen was never shunned for the abuse the way Chris Brown is being shunned.
ReplyDeleteCharlie Sheen's History Of Violence Toward Women
So is it a new thing that all white people are ignorant racists? Legit not trying to start anything, I have just noticed that it gets brought up at least once or twice a day now.
ReplyDeleteThanks feraltart, I found some new ones quickly after that. Looking back though, i should have expected that answer. Anywho have fun at the Keith concert tonight! No judgement here if he decides to fall in love with you and leave Nicole.
@Tuxedo Cat - I agree, Sheen's an asshole...but are we turning this into a race thing? My main issue with Fist Brown is that he has never ever ever come across as sorry or remorseful for ANYTHING he has ever done, and instead hurls abuse at people who dare question his behaviour, which CONTINUES to be violent and abusive whenever he gets the chance. He is a bully, a homophobe and unrepentant. THAT is why I hate Chris Brown.
ReplyDeleteBrooke: the way I recall that had the ending of "You knew what I was when you brought me home"
ReplyDeleteMy momma DRILLED that into my head :)
Story (as I learned it) snake on the road, nice person took it home and made it well. Loved it and treated it like one of the family. One day the snake struck and killed the one who had shown such mercy.
You're right. I couldn't remember exactly how it went. And it doesn't fit this situation as much as I thought before, but it's still a good lesson to learn.
Delete@JSierra - kinda wondering that myself. Funny when the people they're accusing aren't even white ;)
ReplyDeleteIMakeNoSense: I'm not in the habit of justifying my opinions to someone who's looking to pick a fight. And you mentioned jumping to conclusions first. So that sort of thinking must be heavy on your mind.
ReplyDeleteWhoa I'm sorry. I was not trying to pick a fight. I thought you were honestly.
DeleteIn your first reply to me it was great until the end. I was ready to apologize and be on my way but your last sentence got to me.
It was pretty assumptive of you to jump to such conclusions
Why did you have to add that? I took that as you trying to get a last jab in and picking a fight. Even this post
So that sort of thinking must be heavy on your mind
Why add that? That to me signifies picking a fight.Plus it didn't even make sense to meso it really irritates me..Still.
This is the internet. It's kinda hard to judge ones tone. I'm sorry but i wasn't trying to pick a fight. I thought you were.
Still irritates me.
Rage disorder is not valid. Yet another excuse for no moral code.
ReplyDeleteRocket I think it is race week or something, who knows. I'm only white depending on what season it is :p
ReplyDeleteFor fuck's sake, just curious is back on his ranting and raving. Not all whites hate blacks. Not all women are vindictive and deserve getting hit because they are allegedly aggressive. Enough! Enough, enough, enough! I sooooo wish we could block certain people on this site.
ReplyDeleteOn the Charlie Sheen topic. First off, he is an asshole. He abuses women, drugs and god knows what else, and shows zero remorse. With that being said, after the abuse allegations, he didn't go on to nearly blind a dude in a club. He didn't get into fight after fight, after fight (physically and verbally). He didn't go to Twitter to say what a badass he is, talk about kicking peoples asses, or how the world is against him. THAT is why Brown is in the media still. He just won't stop.
Amen Sista!
ReplyDeleteI don't think just curious said that all whites hate blacks. He's saying that black men tend to get treated more harshly than white men who do the same crime. Anyone that can't admit that must have been on another planet for the last two centuries. (I do realize Charlie is 1/4 Spanish).
ReplyDeleteI think Charlie Sheen and Chris Brown are both acting like violent assholes and have been for some time. Chris obviously needs anger management. Charlie has probably had anger management instruction, which is why he has managed to keep his hands (if not other things) to himself lately.
@PuggleWug
ReplyDeleteSo you would block people who raise uncomfortable subjects like racism?
Why shouldn't just curious be able to express his opinion freely just as you do?
Chris Brown does not get judged more harshly than Charlie Sheen because he is black, it's because we all saw a fucking picture of the girl whose head he smashed in the fucking door.
ReplyDeleteIt's the fucking access. That shut spread like wildfire because he did it in the age of the Internet and the picture got out.
I am quite frankly sick to death of people trying to make this about race. Guess what? I don't give a good god damn what colour he is, I just think he's a fucking douche. I don't even care what colour YOU are - you're a person just like I am.
THERE ARE ASSHOLES IN EVERY RACE.
@Tuxedo, it isn't the race topic that continually bothers me regarding just curious. Each time CB is brought up we we reminded that Rhianna can dish it too. His comments regarding abused women have been continually appalling. I noticed this months ago. He has an excellent point in terms of blacks getting more scrutiny than whites in the media, he just needs to lay off the domestic violence comments a bit.
ReplyDelete@TuxedoCat - actually, if you look at justcurious' last comment directed at me, he/she implied I am being unfair to Fist Brown because I am white, and me and my (white) "folk" are shoveling shit when it comes to the Difficult Brown. THAT is racist.
ReplyDeleteI have only recently come back to this site after an extended absence, but the more comments, I read, it is becoming clear to me that commenter is a troll. I'll be ignoring him/her from now. Not worth my time.
